    Hamachi nigiri & Edamame
    Jennifer L.

The ambiance is 10 stars due to the amazing rooftop views of the city!! Wow!! a chef from another restaurant told me to come here my first Friday night in Rochester and I wish I would've listened. Tonight is my last night in Rochester and I'm excited to try some sushi. The cucumber martini is well made and cute. The edamame is served with sake, soy & sriracha but not too spicy. I got some hamachi nigiri. delicious!! They have a 3 course menu for $39 for July. I'll be back! This would be an amazing space for group dinners!

Very overpriced for the food. The open room is very loud and echoes making it difficult to hear anyone. The chairs are like patio furniture and not comfortable. My sushi roll was more rice than fish and just fell apart. I think they have better sushi at Hy-Vee. The fries were good. The flatbread pizza was good. I think they need to focus their menu a little more and do better.

Rigatoni with spicy Italians sausage sauce

We were at Crave as part of a large group (24). This did not diminish the service one iota. The observers assigned to us with polite, professional, accurate and swift. They worked hard to stay on top of everything at the long table. We started out with several of the meatball appetizers as well as sushi. I can't vouch for the sushi since it didn't make it to my end of the table, but the meatballs and sauce were delicious. The garlic bread that came with it was a nice accompaniment to the very flavorful red sauce that the trio of meatballs was served in. For dinner I had the rigatoni with a spicy Italian sausage sauce. The rigatoni was Al dente and the meat sauce was very good. The spicy sausage was tasty without the spice being overwhelming. The only negative - and it wasn't really terrible - was that the atmosphere, while pleasant, is open and was a bit crowded. However it was a Thursday evening with a trade show in town. I can imagine other nights are perfectly fine. I will definitely come back and bring my wife for a date night. Though at a premium price point it's not a place I would consider for a regular night out.

Stopped in for dessert and a glass of wine before I wrapped up my day. Had the T-Rex chocolate chip chip cookie sundae. It was delicious and impossibly large. I love how big the bar is.

We made reservations for a party of 8 on a Saturday night. Upon arrival, we were told our reservation was canceled. Supposedly, we had called to cancel although we never did. The host was accommodating and still got us a table after speaking to a manager. The atmosphere is very nice and elegant. It was really convenient to have an attached parking structure as well. Our server was great! She was super friendly to our children and served them complimentary fruits as we waited for our entrees to arrive. We all got a little bit of everything. Food was great! However the prime was a bit salty. I got the Traditional Poke with salmon. Rice and meat portion was perfect! Only thing was there was way too much spinach. It turned out to be more if a salad than poke. I had to pick out a lot of the toppings as i ate it. It was a great one time experience. Nothing extraordinary and nothing bad.

Truffle flavored french fries, tofu Poké bowl.

I was in Rochester for a business and ordered the tofu Poké bowl. It was super spicy with a lot of jalapeño, but full of delicious flavor. Also got (absolutely perfectly!) fresh fried crunchy truffle flavored french fries. Yum! Full bar, wine, etc - so the bar filled up with a lot of conference attendees, but still a pleasant space and great food.

The food was absolutely amazing this is such a nice place to be you can sit in the sun and there's ac in this area so it doesn't get too hot, the server Darrien was amazing and everyone was so kind! We got the egg rolls And surfer roll King Kong roll

    Sausage rigatoni.

Ordered two apps and a main dish. All the food tasted really good! It was just weird because the serving sizes of the apps was much bigger then the main pasta dish. The waygu meatballs had 4 decent sized meatballs. The sticky ribs had 5 really meaty ribs that were perfectly cooked. The meat came right off the bone. But then the sausage rigatoni, that costs 26$ was just a really small portion. I would have expected at least twice as much.

Beautiful setting, can o my imagine dining while it's snowing.

I e been here twice so far, and both times it has been wonderful! I like how the menu has a wide variety of foods to choose from, the o Lu thing I have yet to try is the sushi, 9am is a bit early for sushi. ‍ lol. The waitresses are very nice and very beautiful.

Super expensive place. I only went because a friend invited me. We went during brunch so they had more options. I got an avocado bacon, egg & cheese sandwich. It was a little bit more cheese than what I expected. We had chicken wings as the appetizer and they were pretty good, but like I said it was expensive. $16 for 3 wings. We had the chocolate cake for desert and it was half a cake and it was good. We had plenty of leftovers. Our waiter was nice and attentive to our needs.

Crave is a pretty popular place. Drinks and and meals looked promising, however everything was hit and miss for our visit. The cocktails: The smoky Manhattan was definitely smoky but not alcohol coward. The "Crave Old Fashioned" was so bad our friend sitting at another table sent there's back. Ours was the same very watered down and you would think with two different whiskeys in the glass you would be able to taste at least one of them. If Crave is calling this their signature old fashioned they should get it right. Actually the only reason a I came was for their Lobster Mac......which I was told they ran out of, very sad.

I typically get Salmon, Eel, and California Temaki and all of those are genuinely the best you can get in town. They dont even judge me for sometimes getting like 3-4 bowls of miso soup. Its great. Even if im not in the mood for sushi all of their appetizers are delicious and their fried rice is one of the best in town as well. The entire staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The very few times I've ever had something come out incorrect all I had to do was politely point it out and they swiftly fixed the problem, or remade it correctly. They are very fast and super attentive. The restraint itself is very clean and comfortable.

This place does have really good food - no question there. Everything I've had (across teriyaki,…read moretempura, sushi, rolls, handrolls, other apps, soup) has been great. Couple of odd things, one of them keeping me from being there eating dinner right now because I'd -really- like some sushi and they're right down the street: 1. the place has three websites. I'm not referring to the fact there's a North and a South location, or referring to Yelp or anything - just... three different websites. It's strange. 2. They charge a 33% uplift for all-you-can-eat dinner, at near-zero value-add. I know this because I went in, had the dinner, and found out at bill time it was uplifted over lunch... simply by virtue of being dinner. I understand that "dinner", time-wise, tends to mean different portion sizes in other contexts, different staffing levels, it's where you make your money unless you are a bar, etc. And in this case they broaden the menu slightly, adding sashimi as an option. I'm not a chef but I'm thinking that takes less labor to produce than about anything else. On the flip side of that, I'm sure sashimi, if someone was determined, is the fastest avenue for the restaurant to burn through material cost... if someone came in for three hours eating sashimi 5 pieces at a time and got away with it. That's the risk of running any all-you-can-eat offering - sometimes the bull, sometimes the horns. The food, cleanliness, staff etc is, without question, great. I'll definitely eat lunch there in the future.

She offered great recommendations, and put some minds at ease for first time sushi goers, which made it all the more fun. I will note that we had some folks doing AYCE, and others ordered Ala carte, and this made no difference to our waitress, or Kumo! The Ala carte portion sizes were huge! The food? Hot, fresh, and delivered with lightning speed. Like seriously, I thought they had secret microphones under the table.
