Before the recession, Poundland and other discount stores the only place you could buy cheap discount household goods was at a market. Then in the late 80's Crash Bang Wallop opened and changed everything.
Owned by a local entrepreneur that has many discount stores across Birmingham, Crash Bang Wallop is where his empire actually started.
Because the shop cannot buy in bulk like their new competitors the quality of the goods here are lower and the prices, albeit low are still rather high for what you would expect from a place like this.
They sell pretty much anything that you would find in Poundland. The toy selection here is pretty bad; they are cheap and not very durable. I'd rather buy toys at another discount store.
Saying that though, this store has been open for a long time, and that goes to show that it has a loyal customer base. read more
