This particular store is my preference when shopping for frozen goods, and is great when you're following a low-carb diet as they have tons of high protein meals, frozen meats and frozen vegetables at low prices - certainly cheaper than the high street supermarkets. If you're feeling less healthy then they've always got offers on biscuits, chocolate and some very nice frozen desserts! The staff are friendly and they open all the tells very quickly during busy periods - something the big supermarkets might learn from!

Secondly it has a rather strange clothes shop at the front that sells mostly skirts and blouses at rock bottom prices - I'm not vouching for the quality of these items (unless you're keen to rock that man-made fibre look of course in which case you'll be in heaven) but they are certainly cheap. The pharmacy itself is pretty big - extending across what looks like it might have been two shops and the people who work here are incredibly helpful and kindly.

This is a great charity shop - always nice and tidy inside (I know this makes me sound ancient but…read morepeople have such preconceptions about charity shops, that it makes me feel chuffed when they look sparkly and smell nice) with tasteful displays, it is a good place to come for...well, tea dresses weirdly. I've bought about three from this shop - I'm never quite sure if they make me look daft but they're a lot cheaper than the dresses you might find at one of the posher vintage shops and allow me to work my inner Dot Cotton so I'm grateful to Sense. They're also pretty good for handbags and have a decent selection of gents shirts and jackets. Best of all they have a ridiculously cheap bargain rail where you can pick up a nice cardigan for less than a couple of quid. Staff are nice and always make nice comments about your purchases - even when they are completely misguided (bat wing jumper anyone?)

Harborne Off Licence is a nice little offy/convenience store. It stocks all the usuals and mags and…read morenewspapers. It has a fairly decent stock of alcohol as well. There's nothing too remarkable about it which is also a good thing. It's a useful place if you live nearby to pick up a few groceries or some beers on the way home from work.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. - Seriously 1star is too much…read more I ordered 4 pieces of furniture 8 weeks ago with an agreed delivery of 8th February 2016. They tried to deliver it on 6th and 16th march and damaged half the order in transit. I was forced to reorder it so now have two separate orders because they won't add it to my original order, despite being their mistake. They don't deliver on the agreed date and to make it even more confusing use two delivery companies. They damage it in transit again and do the same on the 9th and didn't even tell me, I found it out for myself by ringing the delivery company why my order had not arrived. I have been offered £10 compensation for the stress caused and still haven't managed to get the order after reordering now a total of four times. Rang the company everyday numerous times for two weeks requesting a managers callback which they advised would be in 2 hours. It's now the 17th and a manager still hasn't called and I have not received my order. I've cancelled it now. They might be cheap (which makes people order) but they cause so many problems and all contact centres are in South America with agents being uneducated and quite frankly stupid. The advisors are just rude and the whole service is shocking. I'm unsure how they manage to keep trading. I will never use them again all people AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

I like this ASDA! It never seems particularly busy or difficult to get in to traffic wise. It also…read morehas a sneaky underground parking area if you keep right after entering the complex. A lot of people don't seem to know it's there or just chose not to use it but it always has plenty of spaces. This Asda has all the usual; cigarette and lottery counter, cafe, public toilets, homeware and clothing etc. The one thing I struggle with is the layout of this store. It might sound picky but I find the logic behind the product placement really confusing! I think I did three laps of the fridge section before I could find the butter! Which was near the bakery section in the far corner of the store (?) It always feels relaxed in there, I've never felt held up at the tills and all the staff really are as they say "happy to help" :)
