After they had attended to my pug they wanted payment to which I went to write a check and then informed me they don't take checks. I only had a checkbook and they decided to ask the owner if they could take my check. They were told no and not to dispense any meds that I was to give my pug. I was told I could pay with a CC but I don't use credit cards now that I'm retired nor was it made clear to me that checks weren't allowed. I had used that vet since moving to Port Charlotte in 2018 but the business was sold and under new ownership. My money wasn't good enough for them and now they won't get anymore of my business and I own 6 dogs and a cat. Terrible experience and I would advise anyone who has standards not to use them. I took my dog to another vet and had no problems paying by check and they were cheaper. Money grubbing losers!

Axel had been to at least 4 other trainers unsuccessfully before here. He had been to another board and train camp for a month and Advanced Canine Development trainers results far exceeded that place. Axel was very reactive and his 160 pounds of happiness would quickly become too much for the neighbors. Sometimes I think I am going to miss the rambunctious Axel. However his new found manners will result in far less bruises. Now I need to get neighbors in line. They also helped him be comfortable and calm around other dogs. They knew exactly what to do. The facility is very clean and spacious and they kept Axels safety in mind even in the 100 degree August weather. The trainers started work with him at 5 a.m. before the oppressive heat. Owner training included weekly pack walks, a visit to a restaurant with etiquette reminders, and one on one training with the owner.

You helped him gain his confidence back and let him find his happiness again with us. We brought an eight-week-old puppy, Enzo to our home about a month after the loss of our 12 year old Shih Tzu Tuffy. The puppy is adorable but has some personality quirks that have challenged us. You gave us the tools and information to help us deal with his severe separation anxiety. It is a journey for both of us. Your approach to training humans is paramount in the success and journey of training dogs. The human part of the training is to set yourself back to "zero". We had to acknowledge that we knew nothing about the training journey we were embarking on. All the dogs and experience before is just what it was ...before! We are learning to use our experience and knowledge to apply to our puppy, Enzo, and our six-year-old Mio who are different dogs with different personalities.
