She made sure we were completely comfortable and had everything we need. She was very clear and concise on the rules which I appreciated. The entire house was very well out together. Super clean and roomy as well. I appreciated how well the walls blocked out sounds from the other rooms. I wouldn't have even known anyone was there if I hadn't seen them. Bed was comfortable, got enough pillows, and I slept like a baby! I had a wonderful time exploring their property. The St Mary River literally runs right though their backyard. It's one of the most gorgeous backyards I've ever seen. I didn't see much wildlife, but I would bet it's an awesome spot for viewing if you have binoculars. Now the best part of a B&B: Morning came and there was a fresh pot of coffee ready and in the fridge, a delicious breakfast. Homemade spinach quiche with turkey sausage, scone and berries with yogurt. It was delicious! Overall I had a fantastic experience at St Mary's River B&B and I will definitely be reconsider staying here on my next road trip through BC.

The common where we hung out and met other travelers area is also very nice. The kitchen is fully equipt so we even cooked a few things! The surrounding nature breathtaking with spectacular views. There is a river that easily offers more than an entire day of fun - fishing, swimming etc.. we even floated down it on an inner tube! The hosts Doug and Dale are super friendly and offered up lots of tips for things to do in Banff. We will be back for sure!

I love supporting businesses like these. Kee in mind that this is an old school so it is noisy when you walk. The floors are the original from the school. When someone showers you will know. The beds are comfortable and will be provided with plenty of pillows and blankets in case you get cold. One thing i will recommend to the Duarte's is to have an area where to hang out. I mean not only the foyer where the puzzle is but may be in the foyer in the last floor? Like a small couch and a small table? We picked up some dinner - to eat at our lodging place and we had nowhere to seat and eat our food. There is outside but it was too cold to do so. Overall, it is a nice place to stay. We enjoyed it. It was very clean!

We drove from Spokane National Airport to Glacier National Park and this was a great halfway point in Bonner's Ferry Idaho. For the past three years, the B&B has been a family-owner business spanning over 3 generations. All the family members we interacted with are extremely friendly and made you feel at home. We were greeted by Jerry and Frank (the first gen of the bunch) at check-in. Jerry walked us through the property and told us more about the history of the B&B. We were also greeted with the most delicious cookies which was great after a long drive. Pool is closed sometime during September but the hot tub is open year round. Throughout the hallways and rooms, you'll see trinkets and photos of remains from the school which is really neat. The second floor used to have 2 large classrooms which have been converted to 6 rooms, each with their own bathroom suite. We stayed in room #7 which was the 'french theme' but Jerry told us they are converting to a 'geography' theme by next spring. The room has very high ceilings and there's a TV with Netflix available. Breakfast started at 8:30AM and you're seating based on your room number in pairs. We were served by the 2nd and 3rd get family members with coffee, orange juice and a delicious breakfast of egg quiche, fruit, and a homemade cinnamon roll. It was delicious! Northside B&B is also very conveniently located to downtown Bonner's Ferry - only about a 10 minute walk. We made our way down there to walk through the street before taking the second half of our drive. Overall it was such a lovely stay!

I spotted a few eagles from my balcony. Denise and Carey are wonderful hosts. When you arrive, Denise gives you a detailed overview of the property, the numerous amenities, and help with choosing a restaurant. After that, she leaves you to enjoy your privacy. If you need anything, all you do is text Denise and she responds right away. There are many places to hang out on the property, including on the dock, or on the patio in the shade, or on your balcony if you have the upstairs rooms. If you're wondering why there aren't many yelp reviews, that's because there are many reviews on Google. This is by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed, and I highly recommend it. Be sure to stay for at least two nights! There's a ton of lake activities in the area, and you might just want to spend a day lounging around the property.

If you're looking to park your rv in one of the most magical places in all of Montana, you can rent a spot for $35/$45 depending on what electrical you need. Full hook ups included. And the host, Jim, is the best part. But I'll get to that. The rooms at this beautiful B&B are only $100 a night. Jim could EASILY charge $300 a night. Breakfast is included, and you have a private balcony overlooking the most beautiful valley I've ever seen. There are only 3 rooms available. And despite knowing he could charge way more, Jim wants to keep the rooms affordable so that anyone can enjoy them. I was passing through in my RV and it was getting late and I saw his large parking lot. I called him in hopes that he would have a quiet spot for me to park in, and I was more than happy to pay him. The voice on the other end of the phone was warm and welcoming, and said "sure come on by!" I never imagined he would have full hook ups and give me a guided tour of his beautiful bed-and-breakfast that he built by hand himself. Jim is one of the kindest, most welcoming people I've ever met. He made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. In the morning we stood on the huge balcony and had coffee together, watching the birds flutter about UNDER us. That's how high up you are!!! I really hope to be passing through again sometime.
