Unfortunately, I cannot give this business more than 1 star and this is due to the attitude of the manager of the store. I travelled approximately 40 miles to this small town and noticed this quilting store. I will say they have a very nice selection of fabrics and I purchased several small pieces of fabric for a project. I discovered I didn't have enough fabric and returned to the store the next week. I found the goods on bolts and decided to purchase enough to finish my project. I mentioned to the manager, who happened to be at the cutting table, that I have difficulty paying $17.50 a meter for cotton and that I make a fair amount of purchases from the U.S. online. I still find with shipping etc. it is still cheaper. She became very defensive and made comments to make me feel guilty for not supporting small businesses, like hers, and that many of her "loyal customers" would not appreciate what I was doing. I appreciate that her costs are higher but that was no reason to lash out at my choices. I may have become one of her loyal customers but after this most unpleasant experience I will not return to this business or recommend it to my friends.
