Absolutely awful communication. I placed a large order in mid-October, and finally received part of it in December. Not a word from the company until I reached out mid-January, only to be told I'd have to pay again for shipping for the out of stock items, and twice if I wanted the items they did have already! But nobody told me anything, asked me what I wanted, or communicated that items were out of stock when I placed my order. So now I am stuck with 95% of what I need and regret ever ordering from here. The service is abysmal. So much for trying to shop local. read more

This is an amazing store, be prepared to spend a couple of hours going through all the wonderful things they have. The staff are awesome they are ever ready to help you find a thread, some fabric or just about anything. You an order on line or go to the actual store. I order on line then when I go to pick it up I spend more time just looking around :) OK maybe buying another "just have to have" item. lol read more

It's a little out of the way but totally worth the trip if you're in any way into stitching arts. I'm new to Calgary and all my needlework is still boxed up, so I went looking for a place to find a project kit to keep me occupied until we can unpack. The storefront is part of a house and it's amazing! There's four rooms full of cloth, thread, patterns, and an assortment of accessories and goodies to work with. If you find a design you like the nice ladies who work there will even help you pull together everything you need to make it. I picked up a hallowe'en themed sampler with cloth, thread, needles, pins (all mine are boxed up) and a beautiful japanese-style bird design for next time. The prices vary based on materials so you can match your budget. I will definitely be going back! read more

This business has the very superior attitude of thinking they are doing customer a FAVOR by exchanging. They not only charge shipping for returns and exchanges, they told me they do not normally take exchanges so they are doing me the favor of taking the product back. This is the FIRST RULE of customer service - You Want To Please Your Customer. They have no intention of pleasing anyone and their attitude is awful. read more
