Dr Stevens has a great sense of humor and makes you feel at ease even for the awkward exams... you know the ones. He will also not hesitate to let you know, in no uncertain terms, if you're neglecting your health. I, for one, appreciate the lack of candy coating when it comes to my health. Triangle Family Care also has nurse practitioners for when Dr Stevens is not available. Kellie and Crystal are professional and knowledgeable and every bit as personable as Dr Stevens. The office and nursing staff is very friendly and competent. I certainly plan to stick with Triangle Family Care.

Unfortunately that meant that I would only see him 1x yearly for my annual physical. OK, I could deal with that because I knew that if something major was going on he would always be available to step in. Well welcome to the new Triangle Family Care. Dr. Stevens has decided that he is now going to turn his attention to aesthetics. Unless you are a concierge patient (which I am not) that's it for any one-on-one visits..forever & always, and while I have total confidence in the PAs that work there, I really would like to have a relationship with my doctor. Now that that will no longer be an option I'm afraid Triangle is now a 3 star practice. :(

Did not have a good experience here. I am new to Cary and was looking for a primary physician…read morethrough my insurance provider (Anthem). I am a very low maintenance patient. High cholesterol and low testosterone. Easy! I had a prior testosterone prescription with me and even with that decided to do new blood work. I had a 10 am appointment and was told that it was too late in the day to do the blood work (even though I had fasted) and so I came back first thing the following morning (8:00 am). Results came back next day and my previous doctor had sent over my medical records showing a history of low testosterone. New blood work confirmed low testosterone. I asked multiple times if the doctor could then prescribe the testosterone so I could get a shot and a week later I am still asking for that. I emailed them in their portal on a Thursday and it is now Tuesday at 4:00 pm and no one has responded. It's not like I'm asking for a fentanyl or opiod prescription. Good lord. It's testosterone, something I can get from Ro if I'm not mistaken. I was told that they couldn't prescribe it without another appointment because my previous blood work results (from my last doctor) showed an average testosterone lol (well that's because I'm on the testosterone). How hard is it to see that? Felt like the office was just trying to get me to schedule as many additional appointments as possible to charge my insurer. Must be a thing these days. The entire process became so frustrating that I cancelled the follow up appointment and am going with a different provider. Couple of small things to note: not a very modern office (kind of dated) and horrible lighting in the waiting room. I'm not expecting a 'spa' experience or anything, but at least make it inviting for people waiting. Lastly, I waited 20-25 minutes in the examination room for the doctor after I met with the assistant. I don't understand why that process can't be buttoned up. I don't have 2 hours out of my day for a simple check up appointment. Be on time!

All of those illnesses responded to short term treatments. I don't believe in taking medications long term. I believe they cause more harm. Dr. Agrawal is perfect. She diagnosed a skin condition by just looking at it. ( I had been to a dermatologist who did not know.) She respects me and my opinions. I would be lost without her.

I have been a patient of Dr Patel's for over 15 years and I have to agree the office charges are also becoming an issue!! If Dr Patel & Dr "J" will do some self evaluations they could easily access that the front desk staff is very rude!! One of them more than the other (from personal experience, the lady making spots is the RUDEST of the RUDE ! After all these years - It may be time for a change, unfortunately ! I love Dr Patel and his nurses are wonderful - but you are greeted and leave after having to encounter the rudeness ! It's time for Dr "P" & Dr "J" to self evaluate the office staff! He only saw me for 5-minute visits just to prescribe more drugs with interactions and side effects which further damaged my Liver with Fibrosis. He did expensive Comprehensive Metabolic Panels every 3 months but had no recommendations. I have since found a very capable female NP with Duke Health who has taken me off many of those drugs and my liver enzymes have returned to normal again!

I called to see if I could get a second course of antibiotics and they wouldn't give me a refill without making another $150 appointment. When I told them I had to travel for work and couldn't make it, they transferred me to some other dept who basically said tough luck, go to an urgent care center. Awful customer service and nothing but greed here.
