My old place just wanted $$ and I am So glad I found a dentist I can actually trust! First of all, the office is warm and inviting. Your greeted by Kathleen the receptionist who is genuinely a caring person who is willing to help out patients in any way possible. The dental assistants take their time and are thorough with your cleaning and exam. After my initial X-Rays in August it showed that in time, I would need to have 3 crowns. I asked how long, and the Dr. Martin said for a while, just be careful with them and avoid eating things like almonds. Well, I figured while I was there, I may as well just get them over with so I had him do all three. After some adjustments, my teeth are perfect and I am so pleased with the outcome. I just had my six month check up prior to leaving back to Washington last week and I wish their office was in my home state. Also, the check in process is a thorn in my side. Clients get handed a tablet to verify info. It's very time consuming and not necessary if all my info hasn't changed (insurance, home address, etc). I've said many times that my info is the same. One time I just flat out refused and the receptionist signed for me! I also asked "IF I get a crown today, and have an issue with it tomorrow & have to come back the next day, will I be handed the tablet again to verify my information?" (like I moved over night, lol). During a procedure, the dentist inadvertently damaged my front bridge--an expensive restoration that had been carefully placed by my previous provider in Seattle. While I understand that accidents can happen, what deeply concerned me was the way the situation was handled. Rather than acknowledging the damage or offering an apology, the dentist allowed me to leave the office without telling me it was damaged; I had to discover it at home. When I later addressed the issue, I was offered a minimal "repair". Unfortunately, the "repair" left the bridge with a very noticeable permanent defect.
