We went there for a consultation and fell in love with all of the staff. I swear, you just get that warm, comforting feeling of being at home when you're in their office. While we positively adore their entire team, I have to say that Miss Jeanna and Miss Shelby are the sweetest rays of sunshine and somehow manage to make a dentist visit something my daughter and I both looked forward to. They are quite possibly the most delightful group of ladies you'll ever meet. It's amazing to see how they each take a sincere interest in each of their patients lives. My daughter just got off her first set braces. (We also needed a pallet expander.) Somehow they got her a flawless smile in a shorter time than we ever expected! Her teeth are absolutely beautiful and she is beaming with pride. These guys did a phenomenal job with her pearly whites!! We LOVE Robinson Orthodontics and will be back for our next round for our daughter and our little boy when his time comes. There is most certainly no one better!! They all, and ESPECIALLY Dr. Gallagher truly cares about people, and it shows every single time you go in...and that includes the consultation. I am a super suspicious person of dentists, and I feel some are out there to just take your money. I went to some other consultations, and initially they seemed lower priced. However, Dr. Gallagher did not want to pull one of my teeth in order to make one of my teeth come down. It changes you smile when you do. The other orthodontists did, so the cost was not any different with adding on extra treatments. I wore something call distalizers for 5 months (I think it was supposed to be 6, but I finished early - wahoo!). Today I got them taken off and the braces put on. When he puts an appliance on you, he apologizes for every move because he cannot stand for his patients to be uncomfortable. He is also super organized because I got my distalizers off today, and he just so happened to have time to put the braces on today. He can direct his staff in a way that he gets it all done fast. Even though he gets it all done quickly, his work is amazing. You can already see a difference in my smile (which my friends noticed was happening, and his staff will notice, too, because everyone there cares). Anyway, I'm in my 30s, and I'm so glad I waited so long so that I could find Dr. Gallagher. Do not go anywhere else. I called and let them know of my situation. I was seen the same week and scheduled for a crown the following week. This was my first crown so I was extra nervous about the procedure. He was very upfront with me about the cost and potential for a root canal. Luckily I did not need a root canal. He did a great job! The procedure was pain free and I'm satisfied with the experience. LOL My whole family goes there and like everyone else, my husband works and it is very challenging scheduling him because they are open only during hours he also works (9 am-4 pm) and forget ever trying to get in last minute. Alright, so... This…read morereview is based on the billing, nothing more or less. As I reviewed below, the customer service, the cleanliness, and the staff are all wonderful. The care they put into their patients seems genuine, just as the type of care; or maybe that's where it gets questionable. With what I'm here to share, it may sound as if, I'm contradicting myself. Now, billing. I'll say this, now. I'm very grateful I understand medical billing, even with this being dental; some things follow suit. On: 10-28-2023 - They took over my treatment (my braces were already on, I moved and needed to find a new Orthodontist) X-rays were taken at the same time. Nothing needed to be corrected or changed, I picked up from where I left off. Meaning, that being charged for services as if I was starting as a brand-new patient, wasn't necessary. 06-2024: My braces came off - I had a full cleaning. At that time, they wanted to do another complete set of X-rays. I mentioned, that I had them done in October of 23, and the insurance will not cover another set within the same year. They said that would not be a problem and if so, they'll take care of it at that time. I will have to deal with that on my own, I should have asked for that in writing and I didn't. Needless to say, the insurance did not cover those sets of X-rays. I was also, looking at what was submitted to the insurance and what was billable/paid. From the dates above 10/28/23 - 06/20/24: They billed my insurance a total of $9,094. $76 - Oral Hygiene Instructions: This is something I was billed for, but I'm a grown adult, I know how to take care of my teeth and should not have been billed for this. My insurance did not cover this and I will not, either. $22 - Flouride: This is something I get once a year and will pay for out of pocket, but this is something I was not told would not be covered by the insurance. However, I already knew this. I am faithful to getting my teeth cleaned every six months, with my prior dentist, I've never had this issue. I always knew what my costs were before my cleaning and my costs were only for my, fluoride. If you choose to visit this office, I'd suggest you get the procedure codes for what will be done, YOU, call your dental provider and get the coverage information for those codes. When it comes to Orthodontics, I would suggest you look elsewhere. Again, their staff is wonderful, and the customer service is excellent; but when my money is being mishandled, that cancels out everything else.
