Pricing is on point. Registration is online and painless. 2. Class offerings are fun and at convenient times. I sometimes worry we push our kids into being super serious at sports earlier than we should? I don't get that vibe at Synergy. 3. Convenient, just off the interstate NL location. There's a plethora of parking. 4. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly. With a good mix of seasoned coaches and younger athlete coaches. 5. Safety first! Since a lot of kiddos that take classes there are not able to be vaccinated-- they require masks, regardless of vaccination status, for all folks inside over 3 years old. Honestly, this is the most efficiently run kid's activity I have ever witnessed. There are like a dozen groups going at any given time and your child is ALWAYS active. Having only memories from childhood against which to compare, I can confidently say this spot is better than the gymnastics gym I went to as a kid, though I feel like we had as much fun as our little dudes have! The gym is well set up for any age group, be it little ones who just need to run around or a Shawn Johnson-esk gymnastics prodigy, they seem to have everything in both big and little sizes. Highlights of the place include the splendid foam pit, a giant inflatable castle and the trampoline run - a 50 x 5 ish foot trampoline. It's something I'd like to have in a house someday! Very nice folks running the place that are exceptionally good at corralling children, which seem akin to herding cats. Well worth checking out, especially if it's for a birthday party and the kiddos need to run off some energy!

I had been a gymnast myself and suddenly felt transported back to my more agile years just by walking in to this gym. When I found out they offered an adult class, I was in heaven! Ok, so returning to gymnastics (or learning to tumble) at the age of 40 isn't for everyone, but I must say the class was a blast! The instructor had me tumbling like a 20 year old in no time and I had a renewed interest in and committment to achieving a higher level of fitness. It was the shot in the arm I needed to get back in shape and to have fun while doing so. The facility is spacious, full of the equipment needed to train champion gymnasts. There is also a Christian Tae Kwon Do gym towards the back as well as a fitness area that parents can use for FREE while their children take a class. The equipment faces the class area so you can watch your child in class while you work out. What an awesome perk! The most impressive aspect of this gym is the positive attitude of the instructors and the heart they have for safely training athletes of all ages and abilities. The atmosphere is fun, but with an emphasis on advancing skills safely and accurately - no over-the-top coaches who are inappropriately tough or harsh. I've experienced hard-core coaches in the past and other gyms and find the atmosphere quite refreshing at Prairie Fire. My daughter is now on the competitive team at Prairie Fire and is very dedicated to the sport of gymnastics. I credit the excellent coaching staff that encourages a healthy balance of practice and activities outside the gym to her continued interest in the sport. I am looking forward to to see the great things this team and gym can accomplish!

The class seemed mostly workout based rather than the expected gymnastics learning. There were three songs that I caught that had swear words in them. I called Sheila and asked if there was any way we could cancel the rest of the month since this was our first day and she declined. I asked her if she could cancel the annual fee she declined. so now I have a bill for $89 for a workout class not a gymnastics class. I will not be returning the rest of the month. I was also annoyed that there was a one on one lesson going on that was taking the majority of the mat and my daughter was told to hold on multiple times while waiting for the girl that was not apart of the class to work on her routine. The overall environment felt mean girl vibes not towards my daughter or me but between the coaches and older girls. Not something I want my young child around.
