I ordered a seafood boil with Cajun butter, headless shrimp, and crab legs--it was delicious and packed with flavor. Their buy-one-get-one special was a great deal, and the Hurricane I had was pretty good too. The only downside was the service. It took a while for our food to come out, and one person in our party didn't get their order until we flagged down the waitress--about 30 minutes later. Great food and deals, but the service could be better.

The food was fresh and hot! We had the shrimp basket and the scallop basket. Both were excellent! Our server was Reign and she gave us just the right amount of attention! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables are covered with craft paper, which has a great seafood down home ambiance. The decor was netting that gave the right vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our table was in a corner, so only moderately noisy. We were able to have a conversation with no problem![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Half pieces of Fried Catfish Basket (4)

Absolutely not! I order my catfish basket from here and it's always good. No complaints. Tonite they decided to sell me half pieces instead of whole pieces and they think customers are stupid I guess because I take photos of my food and post reviews. I am very disappointed In their policy. Mgr said since I won't bring it back( wasted fuel) they can't remake it. Dumb policy. I have my receipt and photos with time stamps. They must be struggling financially because reputable establishments trust their customers enough to simply remake the food without seeing the original food. I guess they won't be open for long since they are cutting fillets in half now to save a buck. $16.80 for 4 half pieces of fish is insulting. Too many other places with actual whole pieces of fish so bye UnCrafty Crab! LOL

Went here on a Saturday to spontaneously get some lunch for my cousin's birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was impressed with the tables (the butcher paper and the trash cans), but me being impressed stopped about there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was fine, but she got on my nerves a bit, since she kept bugging us for the check every 10-15 minutes despite one of us clearly still eating. And then when we were finally ready to pay, she was nowhere to be seen. We split the 1lb of snow crab legs ($30.99) seasoned with their regular, medium seasoning. 1lb netted us a cluster each. It was.. fine. My cousin thought that the crab was a bit undercooked, I thought it was overcooked. Each time we broke a leg, the meat broke with it, so we had to put more effort than usual into getting the meat out. I may not be a cook, but I know something wasn't right about that. The 1lb orders of seafood come with 2 pieces of corn and 2 potatoes. The corn was sweet and cooked fine. I personally don't like corn so I gave mine to my cousin. The potato was fine as well. It tasted much better when I constantly kept dipping it back into the seasoning. I ordered some fries ($4) since I didn't think 1 snow crab cluster was enough, and they were just fine. I'm surprised they weren't seasoned, so I just dipped the fries into the crab seasoning too. It was okay, but I don't see myself returning. ---------- Overall: My ratings: **Snow crab legs: 6.5/10 **Potatoes: 6/10 **Fries: 7/10 My cousin's ratings: **Snow crab legs: 4/10 **Potatoes: 5/10 **Corn: 6/10 Total rating: 5.75/10 (or 2.88/5, rounded to 3/5 for Yelp) Total cost: ~$42 (minus gratuity)

Okay so I really don't eat seafood, and not because I don't like it, I just don't ever order it out or buy it to eat at home. So, I was very pleasantly surprised when I checked this spot out. A friend of mine and her mommy popped in after the University Wine Fest and were seated immediately. It was pretty empty for a busy Saturday. It's not a fancy spot by any means and that's okay. It kind of looks like a pirate ship inside lol, with all the decor. But I guess that's the point. The menu was pretty self explanatory, even after all our wine samples we just had lol. I ordered the boil with a pound of shrimp and it came in a steam bag with corn, potatoes and lots of seasoning. I got the "boom" seasoning which is all of the season options mixed together. This was SO GOOD!!! I also got a side of sweet potato fries, they were okay. Kind of overcooked. Overall, this was a yummy and filling meal. I'd go back if I ever got a hankering for seafood.

Definitely worth coming here for some delicious seafood boil. I had the headless shrimp with the Cajun seasoning. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it. The service was fast and pleasant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was on point.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We had fried shrimp plate and the fried scallop plate. Both we fresh and delicious. We also got mini cheese cakes since it was my birthday! Reign was a delightful waitress

Lately I've been trying out all the new crab places that are popping up around Charlotte. We dined on a Saturday around 4pm and there was no crowd. We must have missed the dinner rush. I ordered the 1/2 lb black mussels and 1/2 lb headless shrimp with extra corn on the cob. I got it fire hot and it wasn't too spicy to be honest. I was happy with the heat but I wouldn't consider it more than a medium. Your food is steamed in a bag and smothered in the sauce of your choice and you choose the spice level. It was an ok experience. The mussels were gigantic and very fishy tasting. I've never tasted a mussel like that before. I will stick to my favorite steamed seafood restaurant which is near by.

Me and my family visited here for Sunday lunch. We were a group of 7 and the service was surprisingly fast. Usually there is a delay when serving a large group, but they were quick & accurate. I was truly impressed with the service! The food was absolutely amazing!!! I had not one complaint! This is my new favorite seafood spot!

We had a big party of fifteen people, so we were seated in the back, which was great. We needed more seats for the arriving party, and the hostess assisted in adding more seats around the table, which went well. The server, Scott, took our orders and seemed frustrated at first because some of our party was absent, but everyone arrived shortly after. Soon after the orders were placed, we were served drinks and sourdough bread. The food came soon after, and what I ordered was shrimp scampi and a cup of gumbo. The scampi was okay; it seemed to be assembled rather than cooked thoroughly. The gumbo was very spicy, and I started coughing and had to go to the restroom. That gumbo was missing other varieties of seafood and meats; I saw only two shrimp. Gave this place a chance tonight and it was amazing! Food was amazing. Staff was AMAZING! Atmosphere was on point. Made me feel right at home again (im from Louisiana). Overall a 10/10 experience. UNTIL.... To my surprise, Nima (I believe to be the owners son, I asked staff so I could write this review) anyways, NIMA thought it would be appropriate to cuss out our AMAZING server, Sophie, in front of the entire restaurant. I couldn't believe how unprofessional this Nima character is. One thing I won't tolerate is an unprofessional bully of a "boss", and I also won't tolerate a MAN feeling so comfortable to yell and cuss at his FEMALE staff worker. Sophie kept her composure but was almost in tears. From the moment we sat down Sophie was nothing short of amazing towards us in every aspect. Gave us great recommendations for food, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We had to close out early with her due to Nima forcing her to go home in the middle of her shift, leaving John to take over service for us and John was nothing short of amazing towards us also. All of this to say, I truly loved it in here, but next time when I come back if Sophie isnt here anymore due to this Nima chump, I don't know if I can support a business that treats their employees this way in front of guests. I hope the owner sees this and puts his so called son in check because no professional business owner would treat anyone this way especially In front of guests. I will not support any man that feels comfortable raising his voice at a female employee period.

I stopped in here on a Friday afternoon to grab a quick bite. Upon entrance, I really liked the paintings and other decorations spread throughout the dining room. The kitchen is visible as well which makes for a more immersive dining experience. The menu seemed to have plenty of seafood but I figured I'd opt for their special, a Blackened Red Snapper with Bacon Jalapeño Cream Sauce. It came with two sides so I decided to try out their okra and collard greens, after a recommendation from my waiter. I typically don't order collard greens but he said they have pork and are delicious. The place wasn't too busy so food came out quickly, about 10 minutes after I ordered. The food looked decent upon first glance, but I wasn't sold just yet. After my first bite of fish, I was taken aback by the delicious flavor of their cream sauce paired with the blackened fish. It was a solid portion of fish and tasted of good quality, so it didn't stand much a chance. The sides were also just as delicious. It's hard to mess up fried okra so my expectations were met to a tee. The collard greens were actually so incredible as well. I don't really know what they're made of but I definitely will be trying it more in the future, if other places prepare it as good. They also had a house hot sauce with was more flavor than heat, but paired wonderfully with everything. The whole meal was so good so I understand why they seem to a have solid amount of regulars at this place. The staff were very kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. If you want a taste of Louisiana, this place is a solid option in Charlotte.

To move forward I would like to say we all ordered out food, and it was a total of six of us . Three people approved of their dish however, two of us had cold food when you go to a upscale restaurant, such as sea level it would be nice not to have to send our food back due to the temperature. The manager came to the table and she did get our food prepared correctly however, at that point the manager should have given some type of concessions and offered the free dessert because we were not able to eat with our guest. I had to ask for that type of service. My friend got her Bill and the waitress was doing what you call up sale. She asked her husband and my husband if they would like to have three scallops added to their meal the waitress did not say would you like to have three scallops added to your meal for $30? She just plainly said would you like to have three scallops added to your meal or a lobster tail now I understand that there are many people that would go in and not have a problem with the price however, it should be stated how much the up charge is going to be and it should be in writing on the menu because we looked back on the menu and there was not a price for up charge on the scallops . It was simply lack of communication and more openness regarding the charges of up selling and the price is not on the menu.
