A lady forgot to grab the toy from the counter after paying for it, and the cashier went to go find her. This place packs an astonishing variety of goodies into a remarkably small space, and the stuff they sell is really nice. Lots of it is locally made, including designs by local artists. I just marvelled at the taste, quality, and selection. It's almost a place that you could walk into blindfolded, pick something up at random, and it would be very appealing (at least to me). And, unlike the shops in Vancouver Airport or Toronto Pearson, the goods aren't ludicrously overpriced. The clerk was also vary patient with us as we wandered around the shop, poking and prodding at things, and piling our choices on the counter. I could almost say that it's worth going to Comox just to shop here, but there are so many other things to do and see in the area that that wouldn't be quite fair.
