I know, what you're thinking, he's reviewing an...ENGRAVING store? What does that even mean?…read more Well, I have a family member that's super into homebrewing. I bought them a way-cool STAINLESS STEEL growler from Base Camp Brewing. I then took it here to have it engraved. They asked me when I needed it by and I said Monday (Christmas Eve) by the latest. They said they were about to close down for the next 4 days but they should have it done in an hour or two before they closed. 45 minutes later I got a call saying it was done. The quality was stunning, they used the exact same font that Base Camp uses and the finish was insane. I'm guessing they use LASERS or something? (I'm not kidding, I really think they do) Everyone that works here was also exceedingly nice, I will be back!

Our club has been using Chucks Awards for years to make our annual awards for members and their dogs. The names and titles that need to be put on the plaques they engrave for us can be a little complicated (to those outside our sport)! They tackle our unusual requests without thinking we're 'nuts' and they have always gone above and beyond to help us (when in fairness, occasionally we have not given them much turn around time)! Finally, their store is super easy to get to and most importantly, very easy to find parking! No circling the block three times, like downtown. I highly recommend giving this local Portland company a try! I think you'll be delighted with their personal attention and their product line!
