Adam Jaso is the owner of this company. I first met him a few years ago when we needed to have new doors hung in the entrance of our home in San Jose. Later we asked him to hang some accordion-type closet doors for us. He is a perfectionist, and he did an excellent job in both instances.
One of the things I like best about Adam is that he's very cautious and professional. He really thinks about what he's going to do before proceeding. He has a lot of experience, and he knows how to avoid making errors. For example, I recently asked him to repair a sauna door that had been damaged by sprinkler water. After careful consideration, he informed me that it might be better in the long run for me to buy a new door, which he then was able to locate for me. After all that, we decided it would make more sense to repair the old door after all. He did a beautiful job, removing some bamboo decorative covering and replacing it carefully, so that it kept its original appearance. Underneath this covering, he replaced the entire front half of the door, did some fancy woodwork to enclose the window, and put 4 coats of sealer on it, with lots of silicone caulk in places where he thought the door would be susceptible to more water damage in the future.
Adam's other positive qualities include a willingness to listen, obvious respect for his customers, punctuality, dependability, a well-organized trailer full ot tools that he brings to each job site, and very reasonable charges.
In addition to knowing a lot about doors, Adam's business card says that he has expertise in kitchens, bathrooms, windows, remodeling, repairs and custom carpentry. read more
