Online order ignored. Charged, but never processed. Refunded minus a restocking fee for something that never left the shelves. 1 star. Avoid if possible. read more

This is my neighborhood liquor store. I come here randomly to see if they have any new cool drinks. Lucky for me I found this Mela watermelon water. It is good and will come back and get other flavors. The owner is super nice, he greets you as you walk in and asks if I find everything ok. That's a plus. read more

Craft City Liquor - Mela Watermelon Water (so good) - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Spring Valley, California

Ordered online and one month later nothing with no response to my email. I will probably have to escalate with CC for a refund

I am not a big reviewer, but that being said stay away from craft online store at all costs. If I could give it -5 stars, I would.. it's basically a scam. I should have read the reviews before purchasing, but unfortunately I didn't. Placed an order on April 5, received a confirmation of purchase email that day and was charged the full amount of $74 when I go to their website and type in my order number, it says order not found. Tried to call and left three voicemails on different days, no response. Left two emails to their customer service email, no response left a direct message on their Facebook page, no response. It's been 16 days and on the secondary website that they processed the orders through it says waiting for details. As far as I'm concerned, they robbed me of $74.. Stay away at all costs. They're running a scam. read more

placed an order 3 days ago and supposed to be next day delivery, they still show unfulfilled which means they have not shipped my order. have sent them several emails, left them several messages and no response as of today. Horrible customer service. based on other reviews i don't think I'll get my order. read more

This website is an absolute fraudulent company with terrible customer service to match. I ordered a 750ml bottle of rye whiskey for my stepdad and hoped it would be here in time for Christmas (this was a long shot, but I had hopes). But they had no problem charging me $28 for shipping (almost HALF of what the bottle cost). I figured because of the holidays it would be delayed, no big deal, right? I reached out 5 days after ordering (Dec. 22) and requested shipping information since my Shop app notified me my package was delivered (and guess what? STILL WASN'T DELIVERED). I just wanted clarity on what was happening and when it would be shipped. I got a different customer service rep each time that provided no information, no updates, just nothing. This company is a fucking waste of time and shitty customer service that makes you hate your day :). DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I disputed the charge with my credit card and will never order again. As of now (January 8th) I haven't received anything. read more

it's nice that they're open late, but the sodas and snacks are mostly expired. Make sure you check what you buy before you leave

I love the variety they carry! From Dubai Chocolate to Tequila, I'm here at least once a week!

Absolutely awful to work with. Won't ship your order and won't answer the phone. When emailing about your order and the fact it has been 9 days and not shipped, they just write back it is going out today and don't ship it, you can't count on this company, I suggest you shop somewhere else. read more

I ordered a special type of Tequila that was a little more expensive than the regular price but I was later informed that they didn't have it in stock so I were given the options of cancelling the order or wait until available so I emailed back that I wanted to cancel my order a couple days later I was informed that my item purchased had been shipped when I finally received it I noticed that the item I paid premium price for was not the item I received CRAFTCITY pulled a BAIT AND SWITCH by sending me the CHEAPER version of what I paid for and kept the extra funds, after contacting them they no longer respond. I WOULDN'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. read more

I ordered a bottle from them on line ($80.00 bottle) didn't get any communication, I reached out only to get a curt email telling me the product was out of stock and would be in the following week- still, the week came and went no word, so I reached out again, got another curt email saying product still not in. No hello, no thank you for your patience, no sorry for the delay, no please be patient while we stock your product, really rude communication for being a new customer. Too bad for them, I like specialty liquors, and they don't have my business. Good thing is my money was returned quickly - if you order with them, keep your eye on your order. read more

i noticed my order hadn't shipped 6 weeks after i ordered it, and my engagement party was long gone by then so i reached out for a cancelation and refund since they guaranteed processing within 10 days (mind you, i paid for next day air, but i was prepared to wait for 10 days processing). they saw my email about a refund, didn't answer, and shipped it instead, even though i have no event to use the champagne for anymore and it was entirely their error. read more

They put fake prices on their liquor on line when you door dash them, they call you 30 minutes later to tell you that none of the items are available, they are scamming people. Then they tell you that you have to cancel the order from your end so they can still get a re-stocking fee! They're not even willing to subdivide the items they just tell you none of the sizes are available! read more

This is my first review ever but is very necessary. This review is not for the in-person experience, as it may be different. Online, however, DO NOT ORDER. Notice that most good reviews are for in-person shopping and most bad reviews are for online shopping. Horrible online experience. Ordered a single beer and had no choice but to pay for 2 day shipping for $25 as the other option was 1 day shipping for more. 2 weeks went by and my order still hasn't been shipped out, which is insane given your only two shipping options. After 3 emails, 2 phone calls (no answer), and 1 voicemail, I did not hear back from them at all but they have no problem sending me promo emails. I eventually had to call my bank to dispute the charge because at that point, it's pretty much theft. I placed my order January 26th, 2026 and barely got my refund back yesterday (March 2, 2026). Keep in mind that my bank credited me back my money. It wasn't Craft City who issued the refund. They should be sued for running a fraudulent website. read more

Terrible customer service and communication. Ordered vodka two weeks ago from them in San Diego headquarters and they have yet to deliver it to me in Palm Desert, two hours away. Sent misleading emails when I complained and assured me it was "on its way." Do business elsewhere. read more

If I could give one star for their customer service I would. They missed deadlines for shipping my order out. They refused to let me cancel the order (even though the order had not yet been shipped). They refuse to acknowledge receiving the shipment back. When I said I would dispute this with my credit card company they said "Good luck with that." Do NOT do business with this company! read more

Outstanding customer service! Even when the product I came for wasn't available, my husband and I were treated with the utmost care and courtesy. We recommend Craft City Liquor 10/10 times. We'll be stopping by again soon!! read more

THIEVES!! Will take your money and not deliver or refund!! customer service is pretty much non existent!

This company has some shady business practices and I would definitely recommend you choose another merchant. They advertise "pre-release" product and do not give you a specific availability date - just a month. You really have no idea if the product will be available then or not (or if at all). But THEY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD IMMEDIATELY FOR THE MONEY!. Reputable merchants charge your card when they ship. They lean on some small print or some agreement they refer to as their ability to charge you for the money early, but it is just a doubling down on their shady business. I tried to get my money refunded and cancel but they were going to CHARGE A CANCELLATION FEE. There is literally no win for the customer and the support emails are pretty RUDE. AVOID THIS BUSINESS. Attached is a photo of their response when I showed them what is typically the practice expected from an online merchants. It is an example of the support that they provide and the rudeness that I got for requesting a refund of the money as the product was not available until sometime in September, with no exact date (I ordered in July). The availability / pre-order was NOT CLEARLY stated anywhere - it may have been mentioned somewhere BUT IT WASN'T IN MY CART UPON CHECK-OUT OR MY RECEIPT, and I DID NOT GIVE THEM EXPLICIT PERMISSION TO CHARGE MY CARD EARLY. Again - AVOID THIS BUSINESS. read more

Craft City Liquor - Exotic Beers I just picked up. BOMB - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Spring Valley, California

Not really helpful, they quote things and then don't follow through with their quoted items. Very frustrating and a waste of time.

I stopped at this store a few months ago and they were so friendly. They gave me a card and told me they delivered for free and I knew I had a major surgery coming up so it was perfect timing. I've ordered for delivery many times since then and the drivers are always so polite and even engaged in small conversations. Orders are always within the time they say it will be delivered and if they're swamped they tell you right away so there's no surprise when it takes a little longer. Craft City if for sure my new go to store for when I'm out in spring valley or don't want to leave the house. Also, smart to have free delivery for those who've been drinking and shouldn't be driving to the store read more

I made an on purchase on their website where it says '365 Days free returns'. The way it showed I didn't see shipping price until checked out. I got in touch w/ them right away but they wouldn't cancel it. Website is very misleading. read more

I placed an order which ended up going to an incorrect address in another state. I reached out to FedEx as the issue was with them. FedEx requested that I reach out to the distributor and have them contact FedEx so they could correct the address. I reached out to Craft City and their response was that's the address you gave us and the items were sent. I replied to craft city again stating I don't believe it's their error but I need them too. Contact FedEx. Craft City responded by sharing with me a printout of my receipt. Once the package arrived and the other state FedEx reached out to me again, I told FedEx to return the items. Craft City has now refunded me the purchase of those items only as they kept the moneys for shipping. The final email I received from craft City stated one word"" done". read more

This new spot is near my house and I can always count on them being open. They are open until 2A.M. every night which is a bonus for those late nights. Alex helped me pick a gift for my father for his birthday. Ended up taking him a blue label bottle as he loves black label and I wanted him to have something nicer. They also have some extremely rare and exotic craft beers that were cool to check out. Best part is that if they don't carry anything I need, they told me they would order it in. Talk about amazing customer service right?! The prices were really fair and the customer service was outstanding. Been telling everyone that I know to check it out. Highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed. read more
