When in Baguio and craving unique foods, a relaxed vibe and a refreshing ambiance, Craft 1945 is a must-visit. It is an old house turned into a restaurant bar that serves Spanish cuisines and some Filipino dishes. Its interior is bright, with wooden furniture and a high ceiling, there is a huge Murad of a bull and a matador on a brick wall which is captivating upon entering, and I like the open window where the refreshing breeze of pine trees flows.
We went at lunchtime, and we were the second customer to arrive; we were greeted and seated and had the time to take photos of their interior; while waiting for our food, they served baby pan-de-sal, which I liked.
We had the Paella Aligue, the most delicious paella I have tasted so far. It has abundant seafood and is served just at the right time, so the rice is lightly roasted.
The Spanish chicken was something new to our taste. It was delicious with broth mixed with beer, celery and onion.
Gambas, I'm curious about this. It's a succulent shrimp filled with spicy garlicky sauce, it was so good.
Spanish wings, it was delicious, not greasy and crispy.
Baked fish, one of our favourite its was so tasty and crispy.
Drinks: peach and blueberry, cucumber and basil, unique refreshing mocktails ;
Tea and Soda
It was a satisfying experience of their food which I highly recommend checking on this place; aside from their food, I think they have an excellent bar, which I plan to visit their dinner time on my next visit.
The price's a little expensive, but mostly, the price is just right for the taste and portion of the food.
