Let me begin by saying, my husband and I were initially looking at a different DJ service for our wedding. The company we first contacted responded that they were booked, but suggested Crackerjack as a reliable vendor. As it turns out, we were lucky that the original vendor was booked--we could not have been happier with how Brett at Crackerjack handled our wedding! From our very first meeting, my husband and I were impressed with Brett's attention to detail and down-to-earth manner. He asked us some initial questions, and "warned" us about the extensive Crackerjack questionnaire that we'd need to fill out if we chose him as our DJ. He wasn't lying; the questionnaire is long, but it's one of the reasons that Brett is such a great DJ--he is thorough and pays attention! We were able to detail every request and explain its significance, and Brett made sure nothing was missed. The ceremony and reception were everything we hoped for. Not only were the songs exactly in line with our requests, but before the introductions, Brett had a pow-wow with the wedding party to ensure he had the proper pronunciations of everyone's names and the proper order of introduction (this may sound minor, but I think we have all been to weddings where this was clearly NOT done). Brett stuck to the planned schedule during the reception, made all of announcements as requested, and was professional and energetic. Brett was absolutely amazing, from start to finish! I found him because he was the DJ at my best friends wedding a few years back, and she had nothing but great things to say about him! I got in touch with him and was thrilled that he was available on my wedding date! To begin the process, he had us fill out a questionnaire. It was a bit lengthy but it was super fun to fill out! Brett has so much character and enthusiasm about his job, and it shows! The questionnaire had us laughing the whole time! Brett was also very helpful (and patient!) during the song choice selections. I must say, after planning my entire wedding, that picking the songs was the hardest part for me! Brett was very patient and understanding when I kept changing songs on him! Fast forward to the wedding, he set up early and was completely out of the way during the madness. He even videotaped our wedding details and photographed so many pictures that he passed along to us after the day! It was so awesome! He definitely went above and beyond his duties. During the wedding he had the dance floor going the whole time, it was a party for sure! He didn't play any cheesey songs or make any cheesey comments on the mic. Brett is the most professional and organized vendor that we worked with. Leading up to the wedding, he kept us on track with checklists, questionnaires to customize our event, and an interactive website to search for music and record our request list. Brett from Crackerjack Entertainment was amazing! Unlike many other DJ's/bands/musicians that I inquired about, Brett was incredibly professional, organized, and highly attentive to detail. Finding a DJ who has all of these qualities that is ALSO highly talented is rare- Brett is truly one-of-a-kind! Throughout the entire planning process, I was so impressed with how personable, helpful and accommodating he was to work with. Brett is seriously the best DJ I have ever experienced. He is the only DJ we met with for our wedding because I knew from our first meeting that no one would be able to fulfill the services he provides. He is incredibly detail-oriented and organized, and made everything so easy for me. Brett is amazing! He played at our wedding recently, at the end of June, and we were so thrilled! From our first meeting we were hooked, and impressed. Brett was incredibly thorough --from the first meeting that we had to the very end of the night, where he took pictures of the last of the bridal party in front of his van. He is detailed oriented, but not overwhelming. He is talented and organized. He is professional but has an excellent sense of humor --and we cannot be more satisfied with his DJ-ing! Brett was an absolutely amazing DJ, and I would highly recommend him for your wedding too. He made an excellent emcee for the night without being obtrusive. His website has great suggestions for things like "songs to play while cutting the cake" or other things you probably haven't thought about yet. SIMPLY THE BEST! I knew Brett was going to be our DJ the first 5 minutes we started talking. He really knows what he's doing and has a true passion for his career. We we fortunate enough to have Brett DJ our wedding in September 2016. Wow! DJ Brett was unbelievable from day 1. His level of detail was unmatched compared with others that we researched. He has a website that is very helpful and easy to use for submitting song requests and other special requests. He also has you complete a survey (which he reviews with you) and makes sure everything is perfect (he can review this with you online/phone/in person).
