Always enjoy going to Cracker Barrel. I had a craving for blueberry pancakes for dinner and this one didn't disappoint!

Our server Jonathan really impressed my husband. He was attentive without hovering and friendly. Food was served hot and was flavorful.

Bob listened to my issue and made things right. The food was good but could be a little better service. I'm not here to complain.

Chicken was probably in the warmer for 30 minutes. The hashbrown casserole was like warm as well.

I don't have the 85 characters required for a post ... it's a clean restaurant with a friendly staff and atmosphere

Great food and service. I had the egg sandwich that would only be improved if I had asked for cheese.

Just wow! Let me tell you... I haven't used Yelp in years…read more Makes me nuts all the checking in and taking pics of food and whatnot. I had to download the app, figure out where my account was, which email. I had to resubmit to change my password for my email to sign into yelp just to do this review. Suffice it to say after almost ten years of not using the darn app, I did all that to tell people how amazing this place is. Food is "traditional American" but the flavor and technique and flavor!! **chefs kiss** absolutely peak! Also, don't be mistaken, it's behind the bad chicken drive thru and looks like a hole in the wall next to the "Big Lost Meadery" but it's all in one. GO HERE TODAY!! It's more than McDonalds or Culver's for a reason.

Not gonna get into the good and bad of the physical structure, but it's a nice, clean place in a…read moresafe area with a good patio and views of a small man-mad lake. One small quibble, the chairs at the high tops are WAY too small/narrow. Order at the counter and if you want an alcoholic beverage it's a separate order at the connected mead brewery. Price for a cheeseburger, fries, and a soft drink was $20 and change including tax. The fries are hand cut fresh fries. Why places continue to serve fresh cut fries but don't take the time to do it right (rinse them, par fry them, cook them down, second fry) will never cease to amaze me. If you're not gonna do fresh fries right just use frozen ones. That rant aside they were ok.some were crispy but most were soggy. Most importantly not one single grain of salt or other seasoning was on the fries. I have no idea if this is normal or an oversight. But unsalted fries are an abomination. The burger looks good but lacks seasoning as well. Once again little or no salt on the burger. Also the patties have no real sear on them. It's not a smash burger and not a steakhouse burger. Closer to a smash burger but again no Maillard reaction on the burger. It honestly tastes like if a sonic burger was actually kinda good. If i got the same burger at Sonic I'd be happy but not at what's supposed to be an elevated burger experience. The toppings on the burger were ok. Two slices of tomato for some reason when one would have been perfect. Uninspired, white, chopped, icebergs lettuce and a couple decent crinkle cut dill pickle chips. Service was fast and friendly and the burger is better than average so I would go back but it's not gonna blow your socks off.

This dinner was another thoughtful gift from one of our daughters that my husband and I somehow…read moretook months to finally use. Life simply kept getting busy, but eventually we made our way over to The Attic West on a Friday evening. Apparently, everyone else in Sioux Falls had the same idea. The place was absolutely packed and the wait was quite long. At one point, we honestly considered giving up and going elsewhere, but since this had been a gift and we'd heard many locals speak highly of the restaurant, we decided to stick it out. One thing we've definitely learned while living in the Midwest is that bar-and-grill style restaurants are deeply woven into the dining culture here. Sioux Falls has many places with this sort of atmosphere, and honestly, we've adapted fairly well to it even though it differs a lot from some of the larger-city dining scenes we were used to previously. Unfortunately, the food itself just didn't quite work for us. We ordered steak, jambalaya, and buffalo wings. The steak, despite being ordered medium rare, came out drier than we would have liked and lacked much distinctive flavor. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't memorable either. The jambalaya was probably the biggest disappointment of the evening. It was overwhelmingly salty to the point where it became difficult to really enjoy the dish underneath the seasoning. The buffalo wings were acceptable enough, but again, they also leaned dry. Service was understandably stretched because of how busy the restaurant was, though the staff themselves seemed to be working hard under the pressure. Overall, this simply wasn't quite our cup of tea in terms of either the food or the atmosphere. I can understand why it appeals to many locals looking for a lively Friday night gathering spot, but for us personally, it probably isn't somewhere we'd return to. A 2 out of 5 from us.

This was one of the only places open past 7-8 in Sioux Falls so we ended up there kind of by…read morechance. But we are glad we did! I had a great burger and fries and the chicken sandwich my husband got was delicious. The service was very friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Sioux Falls!
