Stopped by to have dinner and try the new dish shrimp with corn on cob , potatoes, onion and cherry tomatoes and carrots well they were out of shrimp and also out of country fried chicken so I end up with the beef with all the veg. Inside a foil and it was delicious , the waitress she was just ok never bought our biscuits and cornbread we had to ask another waitress in passing and it wasn't that busy but overall it was ok

Me and hubby ordered two grandma samplers this evening. This restaurant was half full on a Wednesday at 6pm. The server came by and placed some bread on the table without saying hello nor introducing herself. Came back and still didn't introduce herself. We gave the complete order and it took about 25 minutes to get the food. She didn't intentionally check on us to see if we needed something after the food arrived. I had to motion for her to come to us. I thought she was in training but come to find out, she was training a young man. I get better service on a Sunday morning with a full restaurant than I did today. Not sure of what was going on. The food was okay.

Food - was really disappointing to make this my birthday breakfast choice. The eggs were tasteless, the ham was over cooked and hard to cut and chew. Even the hash brown casserole was just not as good as I remembered. The French toast was okay-ish and I didn't even attempt to try my bacon or sausage. Just no. & My husband's Dr Pepper was horrible. The biscuits were the only thing I would say were good, but it took me 5 times of asking the waiter, Winter, for some strawberry jelly. He seemed so spacey and kept forgetting to take care of his tables which he only had us and one other. We even gave the other table our leftover (unopened) syrup because the lady was asking multiple times for syrup and he just forgot. Please train your employees better. Cracker Barrel has been a beloved place of mine from childhood, but if the standard is this, there's no point in returning. They even rebranded the triangle peg game and are making people soft. Quit trying to raise a bunch of sissy's.

Sawmill or sawdust gravy & burnt biscuits

The food used to be good. It's gone downhill in quality and quality. The biscuits were flat & burned, tasted worse. The gravy tasted like flour. The order was wrong. The pancakes used to be great now they are flat & like rubber. My wife's bacon was sent back because it was supposed to be crispy, it came back cremated. The eggs were perfect, the casserole was too. Our waitress was just past her prime, had hearing problems & wasn't helpful with the menu. We went on a gift certificate. This used to be in our top 10. We won't be back. Where's the golf T game? No setups for breakfast?

I wish I would have looked up this location before stopping on our way from DFW International Airport. I had picked up my daughter and we were on our way and figured to stop. We should have kept driving. It was a 30 minute wait and once seated you could see several tables empty, but the hostesses were busy talking about customers. Our waitress (sever) disappeared after she took our order and NEVER checked back with us so no refills nothing. But we finally saw her when she brought the check to us. Food was okay

Very disappointed I got the chicken fried that tasted like it came from a box I asked for gra y bcuz they didn't offer any that tasted like the lipton brand. The biscuits were so hard we couldn't eat them and my baked potato just as hard. And we only come here a few times a year

    Chicken fried steak dinner?

I don't know quite where to start: our server was Issac, we promptly seated during the end of lunch hour at around and 15 minutes to be waited on, 25 minutes to get our food and another 10 minutes waiting on condiments we had the southern fried chicken dinner which was very good and the chicken fried steak which tasted like was out of the freezer. The veggies were all good but all told we spent over 2 hours in the cracker barrel? We had utilize another server Donna who was very cheerful, quick and courteous

Steak and egg hash brown casserole

Cracker Barrel has always been a decent, inexpensive restaurant chain offering good "home style" meals - from breakfast to lunch and into the evening for dinner. Is it anything special? No. But it's a well-known and staple chain restaurant I categorize with others like Chili's, Applebees, Olive Garden, etc. I always enjoy browsing the front store with seasonal goodies! We stopped in for breakfast driving through the town. Their breakfast/brunch menu is hearty and full of variety, relatively inexpensive depending on what all you order, and served as expected. No frills, no surprises. Service was excellent - our server was kind and attentive and efficient, despite the breakfast rush that quickly followed after we got seated. I ordered their seasonal French Toast Latte which was piled high with whipped cream and the steak and eggs hash brown bowl, which was a generous portion of hash brown casserole topped with cheese, eggs, tomatoes and onions, steak bites, and crispy fried onions. It was so much food, and came with biscuits as well. I don't dine often here, but when I do, I always know what to expect and enjoy my visit.

French Toast with peaches and whipped cream

French toast with peaches 3/10 I thought I was in for a treat but wasn't too happy with my choice. The peach and sauce over powered the French toast. The Grandma sampler was pretty good. The bacon, sausage and ham were what I was expecting, cooked right. Crackerbarrel is pretty consistent and I rarely have bad experiences with food or their service. Today the host took over 5 minutes to man the booth and when she came to the booth she seemed annoyed that I was there. Wasn't sure if I was the problem or if she is having a bad day at work.

    Something black in Mashed Potatoes
    Nikki H.

Not sure who they have working for them but they are truly not the best service starting from the host. On top of that I think they're trying to kill some of us. Had corn mixed in with my green beans and then something black in my potato's. I use to love Cracker Barrel but I surely won't be going back.

DON'T go on Sundays after church. There were people everywhere, a 20 minute wait turned into an hour and a half.

Staff are rude and loud when you're trying to enjoy your food. The food also took over 45 minutes to come out.
