Not super busy inside so pretty easy parking and wait time wise. We decided to order the Crawfish Étouffée and the Taste of New Orleans with two Crawfish Étouffées and a Jambalaya (ran out of red beans and rice) with a cornbread. We didn't realize the miscommunication until we got our food but it turns out we only ordered the Taste of New Orleans but it was still a good amount to share and it was easier since it was smaller portions of each dish. Food only took about 5 minutes since we were the only ones in line. The étouffée and jambalaya had great flavor and even a little kick to it. I loved the jambalaya in particular because of the spice and amount of meat in it. I need to get the full size version of it when I come back. The cornbread and the butter it came with was really good as well. Nice and moist, definitely worth ordering again and great for sharing. Love that there is a good creole place in Woodbridge. We are absolutely coming back soon to try the rest of the menu (especially the desserts).

Something is very off with the (lack of) protein quality at the Falls Church location. The head-on shrimp were smallish - some were 21-25 count, some were 26-30 count, and all had an off-putting *green* poop line. The clams were inedible and tiny. Half of the clams were missing from their shells. They shouldn't be sold. When I showed the poor quality of the clams to the server, they offered a 20% discount - clearly they don't get it. What keeps me loyal to the brand is their signature Hot N Juicy Special sauce (mod: extra garlic). No other Viet Cajun (even in Houston or wherever) comes close to the depth and complexity of the Hot N Juicy Special sauce. For now, the winning move is to order a some sausage in a cup with Hot N Juicy Special medium sauce w/extra garlic TO GO, and sautée it with a bag of defrosted Costco head-on 16-20 count shrimp, or a few dozen live Cherrystone clams from HMart.
