Rooftop and beach views were the highlight--absolutely beautiful setting and worth the visit alone. Service was a 3/5 and felt unwelcoming, which really took away from the experience. Staff didn't seem happy to be there. Food was very average and nothing special, though it came out in a reasonable time. Drinks were also just okay. Great view, but overall disappointing and unlikely I'd rush back for the food or service.

Had a big group to Crabby Bills to have a great meal and watch the sunset. Place is always crazy busy but we got a great table near a window to watch the sunset .... Was about a 20 min wait. The whole staff was great ( hostess, bar tender, server) Food was very good.... Better than I remembered. Overall was a great experience !

We really enjoyed this place. It's a big restaurant so we didn't wait long at all to be sat. The shrimp appetizer was delicious. The clam chowder was good but could be better because it wasn't very filling. I got the fried platter and it was very good! I would definitely come back here.

You go for the view of the Gulf and then opportunities to sit upstairs on the open patio or inside the expansive dining rooms. It's a big seafood menu with minimal choices for those not enamored with seafood. The union rings were fresh and hot almost perfect. The fish sand which, fried shrimp and fried oysters were all spot on. The 1lb crab leg meal was good but the service of them was a little lacking. Had to ask for the items always provided with crab legs, like cracker, small fork, and a side plate or bowl for the shells. The side green beans and coleslaw were good but a trade off which one you'd eat cold while attending to the other items in the plate.

Enjoyed a few meals at Crabby Bill's while on vacation in St. Pete! Enjoyable all around. Big menu with something for everyone. Solid drink specials and service was excellent every time. Those servers hustle! Great beach views from the roof or dining room. And my personal favorite part - A PARKING LOT! The soft shell crab and the crab legs were some personal favorites.

Stopped by Crabby Bill's while I was in St. Pete for a conference, and it turned out to be a great choice. I ordered the seafood boil and it was loaded with shrimp, crab, corn, potatoes, and onions, all seasoned really well. Everything came out hot and flavorful, and the drawn butter and lemon on the side made it even better. The shrimp were big and fresh, and the crab was easy to crack and full of meat. The portion was generous and the whole meal felt like a proper Florida seafood experience. The laid-back beach atmosphere made it a great place to unwind after a long day of conference sessions. If you're visiting St. Pete Beach and want good seafood with a relaxed coastal vibe, this place is definitely worth stopping by.

Great place for drinks and seafood. Also being on the beach doesn't hurt! I like the crab here. It's always fresh. The service is great and there are great seats upstairs and by the window looking at the beach!

If you want great food come to Crabby Bill's. This place has great food. The atmosphere was pretty typical of a seafood place and service was good. We had a couple no -seafood people in our group and our waitress was patient. The calamari was cooked to perfections and the crab strips were tender and so good as well. A friend of mine got the seafood boil which she could not finish so I helped her clean her plate lol. The seafood boil was absolutely wonderful. Sausage had the right amount of spice, shrimp were flavorful without being doused in salt, and the potatoes/peppers/corn had all the right flavors. Especially when dipped in their sauce on the side.

We received a warm, friendly greeting and were seated right away without any wait. Our server, Kyle, was polite, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere had a relaxed, seaside grill vibe that really added to the experience. I ordered the Alligator Tail and Fried Soft Shell Crab, and both were very good. My girlfriend ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi, which was slightly dry but still enjoyable. Overall, it was a very nice experience. While the food was average, the service and the view truly stood out. Would I go back? Definitely. Recommended.

Visited during my bday weekend. We loved the food here. It was really good, the staff were awesome and their Caribbean playlist was on point !! If the weather is nice, go upstairs and sit outside on the deck or at the bar. We started with fried pickles and shared fried shrimp and fries with coleslaw. We were waiting to Check into the resort and this was the perfect snack so we could get the weekend started. I don't remember the drinks being strong but I had 1 daiquiri.

I had a visit to crabby Bills. The food was excellent. The ambience was fun, playful, generous kind. It was a very well put together a new meal and the drinks was added this world. I appreciate the hospitality. I would recommend this too many customers to come. it's right off the water you got ambience you can eat out there and most of all whoever you're with you forget about where you're at. Just enjoy it. I appreciate them and God is good

Such a great spot for a casual beachy lunch. We sat outside, had a few cocktails, and just enjoyed the Florida weather and music. The food was amazing -- fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. Service was friendly and quick, and the whole atmosphere just has that "you're on vacation" feeling even if you're local. It's one of those places that reminds you why living in Florida is such a blessing -- eat, sip, and then walk straight over to the water after. Definitely somewhere I'd come back to for the views + vibes alone, with great food being the bonus.

Snappers was packed at 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. However, as it was late July, we were able to get a table outside right away. There are fans to help with the heat, and it's well ventilated so there was a nice breeze. Our server was prompt and friendly. The menu was seafood with an Asian flair. We started with the crab stuffed portobello (probably the weakest part of the meal) and delicious coconut shrimp. After that, our entrees came with salads, which were also great (tortilla chips and a zesty dressing made it more fun than your usual house salad, but it didn't feel too decadent). I got the snapper, which was served over coconut rice and with a delicious curry sauce and mango chutney. The curry reminded me more of thinner Japanese curry versus Indian or Thai, which I loved. The snapper itself was a nicely-sized piece and was cooked/seasoned perfectly with a hint of spice. The coconut sticky rice was so addictive!! The sweetness of the mango chutney just made each bite a wonderful flavor explosion. I would 100% recommend this dish. My husband got the coconut cashew crusted mahi, which was also excellent (and another huge portion of fish). It seems like you can't go wrong here with a fish dish!

My family and I had such a great experience, and I'd easily give it a 9/10 for the food, service, and ambiance. Even though it was a rainy day and only indoor seating was available, it didn't take away from the experience at all. The restaurant has windows throughout, so no matter where you're seated, you still get gorgeous views of the water. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure guests have a great experience. Another thing I appreciated was that the food is made fresh to order, and the seafood tasted exceptionally fresh. We started with the Kung Pao Calamari, and wow...I honestly could've eaten the entire plate myself! It was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best appetizers I've had in a while. For my entrée, I ordered the Maine Lobster Roll, and it was outstanding--fresh, buttery, and loaded with lobster. I paired it with the plantain mashed potatoes, which completely surprised me. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they were absolutely delicious and something I'd order again without hesitation. My refreshing Peach Margarita was the perfect complement to the meal. Around the table, the Fish & Chips and the Grouper BLT were both big hits. The only small critique is that the hush puppies were a little overdone. Aside from that, everything was flavorful and thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, Buoys delivered an excellent dining experience with fresh food, warm hospitality, and beautiful waterfront views. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in St. Pete!

Perhaps we tried the wrong things, but we were hungry (which usually increases the appreciation for the food), and our choices ranged from not good to good. The dip appetizer- Not good. It was the crab dip with seasoned cheez-it shaped crackers. The crab did not have good flavor and the crackers were over salted. Wasn't a good balance for my taste buds. Didn't eat most of it. The oysters appetizer- Good. They were fresh which is ALWAYS appreciated. I didnt like that the shells weren't rinsed, which led to alot of shell in my slurps and the actual oyster sizes ranged from normal to small. One was almost tiny. My main meal- Good. I had the special...a Blackened Hogfish stuffed with crab and scallops. The fish on it's own was ok, but the bites with the stuffing as the whole were good. The rice and beans along with it were cooked perfectly. My friend had the Blackened Grouper and enjoyed it thoroughly. Desserts- Very Good- 50/50. The Coconut Cheesecake was absolutely DELICIOUS, definitely homemade. The Chocolate Cheesecake was just ok, but killed the sweet treat itch. Ambiance- Tranquil. If you're looking for beautiful scenery while eating pretty good food out on the patio area, this is it. The main dining area upstairs was a typical old seafood diner type vibe. The bathrooms are also located upstairs. Service was informative and attentive. It wasn't the best seafood I've had, but I'd definitely come back for the view. Pricing was fair. Check them out!

There were hardly any cars or people sitting outside. Then a server opened the door...and at around 7pm we found the spot kinda empty. Good or bad sign? They sat us down and looked at the menu. It looked good but didn't see much variety. It was much higher type of seafood dishes and beef options. We did come here bc of a reservation so we went further. We chose the mussels in a tomato sauce as appetizers to begin. We ordered the Pinot Grigio and unfortunately I had to send mine glass back bc it just wasn't a good wine. Had to ask for more bread bc you can't give me mussels with a great sauce and not use bread to finish it. They were good size mussels. We shared the entree which was the seafood pappardelle pasta in a cream sauce which had lobster, shrimp, and scallops. The sauce was good but they must have salted the pasta a bit too much which def made the dish richer. The service was good, but for the prices here you'd expect something more since the server did not know about the sauces and how things were prepared. Kinda of a bummer when she had to go back to the chef to ask. But it seemed everything was just higher in price. Overall it was ok. Just for the prices, you expect the food to be exceptional. Things just didn't align.

Wow. I expected more from a place rated 4 stars. To be…read morespecific we went to the beach bar because the restaurant wasn't open yet. The very first issue was parking. Parking is minimum $50 a day + fees. A cocktail? For an hour? Haha no. I'm being mildly disingenuous. The bar staff (and likely restaurant staff) will give you a QR code to validate all $58 of your parking. But it made me acutely miss a time when you could just park and patronize an establishment. Just don't forget to validate your parking, cuz they sure didn't ask preemptively. They were celebrating a 3-day grand reopening when we went on Saturday. There was *one* artisan in their market space. The music was pumping loud enough to not be able to converse. Although it drew a crowd of younger folks, there was not much to behold from the "grand" reopening. Not even s cost of paint. The beach bar may not have been part of the sprucing up idk, I didn't see anything worth celebrating. I meant to look at the size of the cocktail cup that we got (small), but $13-14 for a cocktail is highway robbery for the end result. And $18 for 6 wings ($3 a wing) was a little disappointing. I expected better of a Hilton adjoined restaurant. No one part was terrible. It was just the way they matched up - loud, expensive, small portions. If you're loud maybe you're cheap and tasty. If you're expensive, maybe you're fast and delicious. This was all the worst parts of a bar that doesn't care about its patrons' economics. A bar that wants to serve tourists with mediocrity and move on to the next crop of people who will never be there again. If you're a tourist it'll probably be fine, if overpriced. If you're a local, don't bother. To be fair, we should ask if there was anything good. hm ... no. We won't be returning. 3 stars is probably generous.

The atmosphere was laid-back and the service was excellent from start to finish. We started with the jambalaya as an appetizer, and it was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos, which were delicious and packed with flavor. My husband had the catch of the day sandwich with fresh snapper, and he really enjoyed it as well. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the quality was fantastic. We'll definitely be back the next time we're at the beach. Highly recommend if you're craving fresh seafood in a casual waterfront setting!

Although the restaurant has beautiful waterfront seating, we chose to sit inside since it was very hot outside. We started with the Louisiana Seafood Gumbo (bowl, $13.97), which was delicious. The Chicken Wings ($13.89 for 6 pieces) were outstanding and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. They were definitely my favorite dish of the meal. We also tried the Shrimp-N-Grits ($27.97), which was a unique combination of Argentine red shrimp, creamy cheese grits, sausage, tomatoes, scallions, and other ingredients. It was flavorful and different from anything we've had before. The Jambalaya ($21.93) was just okay. It had plenty of ingredients, but it was a little too salty for my taste. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant also has a full bar and, I believe, live music in the evenings, making it a great place to relax. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in St. Pete Beach.

That said, I can appreciate that with a team of just two people, they're clearly focused on maintaining quality over quantity. The space itself is absolutely adorable and very thoughtfully curated. During our visit, I realized the owners seemed familiar, and after chatting with them, learned they were behind a few other local restaurants I've enjoyed over the years. Small world! The restaurant is very small with limited seating, but that appears to be intentional and fits the concept. The wine selection was enjoyable, and I really loved the overall idea and atmosphere they've created. When it gets busy, it's easy to see how challenging it can be for a two-person team to balance service and hospitality while keeping everything running smoothly. Even so, the effort, passion, and attention to detail are obvious. Overall, a wonderful addition to the area. 10/10--we'll definitely be back and hopefully snag one of those sandwiches next time!

It's clean, open, friendly, creative, small, fresh and delicious. The locals definitely know about it and were fun to chat with. The couple running it, Jen and Zach, are engaging, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun! Everything is prepared in house with a focus on quality, the quality bread is imported from Miami, the portions are plentiful and the tastes are well balanced and delicious! Please note, seating is quite limited, so we (Peter N and I) made sure we arrived first, before they opened at 11am. I can't say what your odds are of getting a seat but I'd suggest being flexible and enjoy! I won't describe my meal in detail since you won't be able to duplicate it! Remember, the menu changes! It's soup, salads, sandwiches and a variety of apps. Suffice to say... yum! Life is good with a local, unique spot that delivers all the good things!
