Considering the beautiful weather, I was quickly going through the few sticks I bought so I stopped in at Norman's to check out their cigar room and was greatly pleased with the selection and pricing. It was a breath of fresh air if that can be said by a cigar smoker and I bought more than I should have including the local Tampa brand which I found to be pleasant. I asked for help choosing an appropriate wine and was steered to Steve. I told Steve my dilemma. I was looking for a Cabernet Or Merlot from Australia under $10. I was steered to Jacobs Creek wines from Australia. I chose a Cabernet Sauvignon 2019. According to Vivino, Jacobs Creek wines are bold and have a lot of fruit flavors. It scored a 3.5 rating at a price of $5.99. ABC price: $5.79. SOLD! Turns out I was the only guest who brought wine, and the bottle was empty in seconds. I went back to ABC and bought two more Jacobs Creek bottles: Another Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 and a Shiraz Cabernet 2021 (3.4 rating). Both were well received. Hats off to Steve and the staff at ABC who made me look good with a tasty wine at a bargain price.
