The crew never complained, and were polite and did everything we needed and wanted! Things are not always what they seem. I don't care what the other reviews say. This is my review. Are they frustrating at times? Yes Are they guilty of "no shows" ? Yes Are they the only contractors that are guilty of this? No The quality is good. The workers are nice and friendly. Skilled and hard working They show up with the right equipment, professional quality materials and skilled crews. Communication is key. The problem with reviews is that the delivery guy drops the food and the restaurant gets 1 star You get what you give. Worst company ever. Stay away. Don't believe the 5 star reviews. Chris is the owner. He is an angry, nasty man who gives excuses and outright lies. He's never on site yet claims his men did the work. We have cameras disputing his claims. What is the point of a contract if you can't honor it. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere and save yourself the headache. read more

I have been using CRA for a long time, almost 7 years. I have noticed things slipping within the office for the past couple of years. The "office" number is actually the number of the owner of the company, Chris Alderelli. He is not good at responding to either calls or text messages. The only way I can communicate with someone about my lawn is by being here when the lawn is being maintained. The problem with that is that it's a revolving door of workers on his team. I'll get a phone number of a supervisor, and then "poof", they're gone. This has happened several times in the past few years. They complain about Chris to me, his awful communication skills, his lack of good equipment, and his unreasonable expectations of them. On June 16th I texted Eddie, one of the lawn supervisors to remove a dead shrub from in front of my home. I sent a picture of the shrub to him, asked him how much it would cost, and he wrote back later that night with a quote and I responded the next morning that I would like to do it. Three months go by and the shrub, in all of its deadness is still there. I text Eddie again, "Are you still with CRA?" and no response. As I said, it's a revolving door, so it's very possible he's no longer with the company. Then I follow up with Chris and ask him about the status of cutting down the tree, and he said he would send someone tomorrow to do it. Eddie is still with the company and I figured he would know the tree to remove (ie, the DEAD ONE). So he comes the following day and removes a living tree that he tells me was "hideous" with "13 stakes holding it up" (there were 3) and proceeds to tell me I'm wrong about what I wanted. I sent him a copy of the message I had sent to Eddie, and he proceeds to yell at me about how I told him to get rid of a "red plum tree". I don't know a red plum from a green cypress, so how would I know to tell him a specific tree other than that I wanted a dead one removed. So, he left the job undone, with debris in my backyard, and no response to my messages about wanting to get the rest of his job cleaned up so I can be rid of CRA forever. Chris is a crass, unprofessional individual, and it looks like I am not the only one who thinks so, based upon the 2 other one star reviews. He needs to clean up my yard, and clean up his act if he wants to continue expanding his business. read more

I have to give a huge shout out to you all and your crew! What an amazing team! I have used Chris and his crew for landscaping (tree trimming), mulch, etc. Everything has always been amazing! What I really want to comment on now is the construction team. I/we needed to make the house handicap/wheelchair accessible for my mom's return home from rehab. They came, ripped down walls, opened up doorways, put in new flooring, and transformed the house! I could not be happier! The team works hard all day, and I could not ask for a better crew! I have referred them to everyone I know and will continue to use them for whatever I need! Hats off to Chris and his amazing team!! read more

They never completed the job we paid for and left a mess. Concrete all over my new siding and fence. Left a portion of the job completely unfinished. They didn't even take the formings out for the concrete that they put in. They also took a deposit to remove a tree and limbs from other another tree and never returned our money or did the job! These people are crooks and not honest. We are a military family and live on a fixed income. Very unhappy with their service. I paid 7K for Sod on my very small front lawn a few trees and pots on my back patio. Their equipment TORE UP MY SOD and they refused to correct it ... they tried to double bill me for things that were supposed to be included in the initial fee ... and the plants that planted in my back pots are dead . Absolute garbage company. They respond til they get a check and then you'll never hear from them. Work was incredibly poor. The guy doing my bathroom told me he usually does fences. They will only order supplies from the Home Depot. We stopped the work halfway through because it was so poor and they refused to refund us. Owner is completely unprofessional and rude. Tried to take advantage of the Covid construction boom just like they tried to take advantage of sandy victims. STAY AWAY. The only people leaving positive reviews for this dude are his family. Property Managers BEWARE! Unsatisfactory Work & Highly Unprofessional! I'm a property manager in the East Brunswick area and hired this company for snow removal. Our first and only experience with them was horrific!!!! They were late and came to work during a blizzard at 1030am and went to lunch at 1:30pm. You would have thought my complex was never plowed with the amount of snow and ice left. We had residents stuck throughout the property. We also had residents slip and fall due to their negligence. After discussing my concerns with the owner Chris, I was just brushed off! The next day with them was even worse!!! (Please take you time to read) Pretty much one of the most unprofessional business experiences I've had in my life. Not only does the owner talk down to you once he has your money but so does his assistant. They broke contract (with a few item) amongst doing damage to my property without fixing it. He tells me he's not warranted to fix things he damaged but rather suggested as if he did it out of the kindness of his heart in referecen to putting holes in the street with his equipment. Instead of sticking to the contract he cheated in anyway he could from not providing the correct material Contracted to bring in, damaging a item that was contracted to stay in along with ignoring my request to abide by his contract and replace the damaged item. To top it all off every day they worked they left my house a mess. Oil stains all over my street from their leaking equipment. It's really sad a business is ran this way I suggest you run fast when someone suggests this company to use. It's asshame you can't trust these people to do a job properly.
