I swear the Bulgogi Fries were screaming my name, though. Yoyo's Hotdog - Yoyo--YO. This thing slaps. I definitely craved a Coke or a beer while eating this because that salt kicks your taste buds' *ss. The caramelized onions paired with the crunchy onions were a double whammy that could topple a few hot dog title holders. The real winner, though, was the sauce--definitely something Asian-inspired. But hey, I'm running on five hours of sleep, and that's the best my smooth brain could come up with to describe the experience. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

I got their famous hotdog with spicy mayo, french onion, sautéed onions, and hot sauce. (That's how it comes standard) don't get me wrong it's definitely a lot going on from the flavors and the messiness of the dog, but the flavors balance out very well and the all beef hot dog is delicious. There's no spice from the mayo or hot sauce so if you don't like spice you'll be fine. I also tried their bulgogi fries which came with bulgogi meat, jalepenos, cheese and cilantro. My first reaction was it was delicious but it wouldn't be something I would get again, but after I kept eating it I realized this is actually really good and now when I go back I'll definitely try it again. Overall I definitely recommend this place to visitors or even locals

We quickly narrowed in on a few burgers. They have MANY options. Same goes for their foot long all beef hot dogs. The burgers have a very tasty bun and the meat is full of flavor. For fries you can choose between different variations, but they are included with your burger. The place is loaded with TVs to watch the game and it also has a full bar in case your sports team lets you down. Even with TVs, the restaurant is not overly loud. My son loved his burger and that says a lot since he is a field leading expert in the art of complaining. So, we are looking forward to heading back to try other burgers. My only gripe had to do with that independent soda. In a Coca Cola kind of dude and their soft drink was meh when I tried it.

Service was very good although they were very empty during lunch service. Their menu is half burgers and many different kinds with similar ingredients. The other half of their menu composes of hot dogs and other baskets. I tried their classic steak burger with a triple patty configuration and no cheese. Ordered sweet potato fries but got their brought regular fries. The beef patties were described as smashburgers but ended up as a bit bland and overcooked; they didn't have any crispy texture to them either as you would expect from a smash burger. The fries were very crispy but a bit one note. The buns are not scratch made from what I can tell. It was a lot of food and a very filling meal but this isn't an above and beyond version of a burger that was expected.

An all beef hotdog, caramelized onions, fried onions, honey mayo, Yoyo's hot sauce, and cream cheese. Unfortunately, it really fell short for me. The one positive was that everything, down to the bun, tasted fresh. However, overall, the flavours just didn't work for me. There was a lot going on and the combination felt a little too busy rather than well balanced. That said, I can absolutely see why people enjoy it. The service was prompt and friendly and the area seemed clean. The price point also felt pretty reasonable for a hotdog with this many toppings. Perhaps this late night staple would hit different after a few drinks but once was enough for me. Still, I'd recommend giving it a try if you're visiting Houston, especially since it's such an iconic late night Houston eat.

Yes. It's just a hot dog. But damn, it's a good hot dog…read more Admittedly, I avoided Yoyo's the cart for years, namely because I had hard time justifying an $8 hot dog that I would need to wait 40 minutes just to sniff. The wait is a non-factor at this location in POST Market (#1), which happens to be one of the best food stalls in their star studded lineup. The menu is literally just the hot dog and it's breakdown of ingredients. There are a few drink options on the menu from soda to lemonade, but that's it. It's a simple menu and I'm all for it. The hotdog ($8) was described to me by their hypeman behind the counter: "It will change your life." An excellent slogan indeed. The all-beef hot dog is sliced and grilled and topped with a combination of onions (fried + caramelized) with many drizzles of honey mayo, yoyo's hot sauce, and layer of cream cheese. It doesn't sound like something that works well together, but it does. The end result is that I want more than one, perhaps 2 or 3 in a sitting. The hot dog didn't change my life, but I now appreciate life more because of it. __________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz/post-market-houston

Let me begin by saying the atmosphere of the store was best described as abandoned. No one at the front to greet and no patrons. There was no music or sound at all in the entire restaurant which was a little creepy but it was late so we figured it was close to close (they didn't close for five hours we later found out). When we got our food we were incredibly disappointed, one hot dog was missing key components and the elote was true crime to humanity. I genuinely don't know how you can be a business in Houston and not know how to make a elote. It had almost no Mayo on it and had Parmesan cheese....they also had some toppings listed as options (specifically the pickled red onions which were a main part of the brisket dog) which they were out of stock of. The attendant told us specifically "we don't have that at this location". The saving grace of the meal were the bottled beverages which were incredible, but also entirely not of the establishment and I don't want to credit them with another businesses hard earned rave review. Overall we are rarely disappointed by hot dogs, an item in and of itself which is hard to mess up. Now looking at other yelp reviews it seems we aren't the only ones who were expecting a little more. We won't make a repeat visit, but hopefully the business can attempt to fix some things for other patrons in the future.
