I am new to the area. I walked into this lovely store. I was so excited! There were two women who…read moreworked there. They were beyond rude. I asked questions about the yarn. There answers were short. No other customers were in the store! I bought $200 worth of yarn. When I went up to the counter with my purchases, one of them started to be nice. Two other customers cane into the store while I was shopping. These women were very friendly to them. I've been knitting for sixty years. I used to manage fabric stores. I know what good customer service is. I will never walk into that store again.

While I did make a few design changes that understandably extended the timeline, the project began in February 2026, and as of July 9, 2026, my company hat and T-shirt order still had not been completed. I remained patient throughout the process and allowed additional time due to the design changes. However, when I asked for updates or questioned the ongoing delays, I felt my concerns were not handled in a respectful manner. What should have been a straightforward order turned into months of frustration. When the shirts finally arrived, the logos were crooked and off-center. After I brought the issue to Carmen's attention and explained that I was unhappy with both the quality of the shirts and how the order had been handled, he refused to correct the problem. Instead of remaking and replacing the defective shirts, Carmen became combative in his communication with me and canceled the remainder of my order, stating that he was concerned I might again claim the workmanship was not done correctly if he proceeded with a replacement order. Based on my experience, I would not recommend working with Specialty T Limited.

However there was an impressive selection to choose from, one that I felt encompassed a wide price point which I appreciated. There was lots of different brands/ fibers/ weights ranging from $4 to $30 (all great quality). A great store for garment/ sock knitters like myself, I did also spot some unique fibers that would be great for other items like bags or amigurumi. I spent about 15 minutes in the shop, picking up several different skeins of yarn to inspect the fibers and composition. No one was at the register. I'm not even sure if anyone there was working or not. It felt like I had entered a party that I was not invited to. Strange experience. I wanted to support a local business instead of Michaels, but walked out without a purchase. Even as I was exiting there was no greeting of any kind.
