The receptionist is friendly and the insurance coordinator is very friendly and competent. I like the semi-private rooms with glass walls. They are very punctual with the appointment times. They accommodated me when I needed to reschedule in December. Just be aware the dentist does not do her own extractions. She has another dentist come in for that, which may be inconvenient. A later x-ray found that he left part of the root system in the gums.

Very Disappointed went in Feb 10th for a crown, they put in the temporary crown, they said my…read morepermanent crown will be ready March 3rd 3 weeks out, but as the day was going on it was cutting my tongue had to go in the next day to have them grind it down, that didn't last long Sunday the crown fell out so I had to go back in on Tuesday to have them put in another crown, then they told me my permanent crown won't be ready until March 5th then over the days it flattened out and got a sharp edge that was cutting my tongue again. I definitely won't be using them for crowns anymore

I talked to him for a few minutes yesterday and he was telling me that business has been steady, although it wavers a little due to the economy and so on. He said that sometimes business sees a spike as people who go to other dentists come to him for a second opinion regarding work that their original dentist suggested they have done. Dr. Brand told me that when he sees some of these people and hears about the recommended work, he doesn't see a need for some of it. So, if you are going to a dentist other than Dr. Brand and it's suggested to you that you need a lot of work done and for what sounds like a lot of money, schedule a trip to Dr. Brand's and have him take a look and give a second opinion. It could save you some money and any other inconveniences. Everyone at his office is very friendly and personable, and as far as I can tell his practice has a sterling reputation. If you're looking for a new dentist altogether or, at the very least & like I said, a second opinion, then consider this office. You're not likely to be disappointed! He is a great guy and dentist and his work is very professional.

WOW! Not only was Dr. Brand knowledgeable and surprisingly honest in what needed to be done versus what's not urgent....but the hygenists went through tooth by tooth (front and back), annotating the condition of tartar buildup (scale of 1-7 with 3 being acceptable and 7 really bad) for the center/right/left of EVERY tooth! Not only that, but they answered every question with surprisingly in-depth knowledge comparable to a Dentist! ....made my previous 'cleanings' mediocre in comparison. Now, if only I could find a mechanic/shop as awesome as this....

Three stars for the hygienists, which keep changing. I get that my gal wanted to go half time or whatever, so she's out. But what happened to the one after her? I didn't like her anyways because she made my gums bleed all the time. It was as if she didn't have steady hands or she had careless hands or bad vision. She talked so much and didn't pay enough attention to my gums. So I remember asking to be scheduled with someone else other than her. I can't for the life of me remember that hygienist's name. Pretty sure I got someone new to me this past time because i got in on a cancellation. It wouldn't have happened that way except that the office did not respond to my call or voicemail or email. I finally found an old email with their online scheduling and tried to do it that way. That system sucks anyways because all it does is record your preference. It doesn't actually make an appointment. Eventually I got a call back and I was upset! I thought they had closed down because there is no reason to not return calls. I go twice a year and I have good insurance! They do x rays every year and have updated equipment. I like that they do an oral exam for cancer etc. they also evaluate your gums. Pretty thorough place, once you get in. Bonuses: it's completely solar powered, so they're doing their part for the world. Also, they have coffee and bottled water in the lobby. When they send you home, they give you a toothbrush, toothpaste and lip balm! The ladies there are very nice and the dentist is great, albeit talkative, but it's the hygienists that can make or break a place. Update- I've been going to this dentist for five years now. I have changed hygienists multiple times. But I most say, the dentist is so awesome. He gives his honest opinion about everything. He does not try to push you into procedures or Invisalign etc. One time I had a question and he wasn't totally sure. He promised to ask a colleague and get back to me. Sure enough, he got back to me by email. I appreciated his honesty and knowledge of his limits. He didn't hesitate to get a second opinion. That opinion was about the same as his in the end anyways. I always get a toothbrush and travel toothpaste on the way out. The also have lip balm that I keep in the car. They have improved their hours and added another dentist! They have also improved on getting back to me via email or phone when I leave messages. I have recommended my parents to his practice as well, and they are happy. Both have had procedures done and are satisfied.

This is the first I had heard about this separate appointment for an impression. In the meantime, her temp bridge came out and we are back having to get another temporary bridge in. I asked to get a discount for this failure on their part to communicate the entire plan and was told it was my fault. "They don't make mistakes" so it must be me. Despite the initial problems I'm so glad I made the trip. Staff was very welcoming, considerate and professional. Location is clean and saw many pleased patients leave and arrive as we waited our turn. I was able to stay with my children during their procedures & they were happy too (as far as a dental appointment can be). Location is across from a beautiful lakefront park, so pack a soft lunch & enjoy some nature after your appointment.
