Happy to have found this business. The location is easy to access, plenty of parking, the instruction is great, and the pricing is reasonable. The real-time feedback on the mannequins used for class is much more educational than the old school mannequins -- you never really knew if you were doing the compressions deep enough or quickly enough, etc. But these mannequins give you all the feedback you need to really "get" what you're supposed to be doing. They also have a 10% discount for non-profits. I'll definitely be back.

Melanie is the definition of on-point. She runs a tight and fun ship. I can tell she's been in the life saving game for a minute now. She taught us the old school way to find the center of the chest to pump. Then the new school way from the armpit. Among many other lessons. They had mints, water & chocolates which were all appreciated touches that made me feel at home. Definitely recommending CPR Seattle. Thanks, Melanie!

I can't recommend this CPR training enough! This was an awesome class with the most personable and friendly instructor, Ryah! My workplace hired Ryah with CPR Seattle to visit us at the office for a four-hour CPR/AED/First Aid training. The four hours went by quickly and it was actually fun and memorable! After Ryah introduced herself, we immediately knew the tone of the training would be serious yet fun. The first part of our training consisted of Ryah asking us questions about common situations, so she could learn where we were coming from with the knowledge we already knew. We debunked myths, common mistakes, etc... We then broke out in dance and song, to learn step by step instructions in emergency situations. The next part of our training was when we watched short videos of scenarios and learned what-to-do in that instance and Ryah would go over it and answer questions. The last part of our training was when we used dummies and partnered up, to practice what we were taught in the earlier part of our training, in giving CPR. Just like a real scenario, we acted out what we'd do and Ryah would correct any mistakes or have us go over it again until it was perfect and we felt comfortable. Again, the half-day of training went by so fast, that it didn't even feel like taking a course! Once we completed our training, we were e-mailed our notification, which is valid for two years. Easy process! I highly recommend CPR Seattle to get your certification completed. It's interactive, fun and informative and Ryah, our instructor seemed to genuinely enjoy her job! It makes learning all the more easy and memorable.

They offer late night classes which is pretty awesome for students like me andfpr those who work during day time. I made reservation through their website and got a spot before the New year! The class size is about 10-12 people (which makes it not too crowded), the room is well lit and have enough space for demonstration too. Since I took CPR class, where everyone needs to re-enact an emergency situation. The spacious room allows every student to move freely. The instructor is thorough with her explanation and she makes sure everyone is on the same page. Plus, it is right infront of Dick's drive inn, you can munch onn burger after your class

He has such an easy and clear manner in teaching his class. What both impressed and surprised me is how certain CPR instructions have changed in the past two years. Kevin gave detailed instructions even in where/how to stand next to someone having a cardiac or choking event, where to position legs and feet and where to put the cellphone (on speakerphone) next to the victim for talking with a 911 operator. Kevin's trainings are replete with stories about calls he's been on in the past year or so and the specific reasons why some of those calls had happy or tragic endings. The expanse of his knowledge on his subject is breathtaking--so he's the right guy to be teaching this class! Also, we've been to CPR/First Aid certification training that dragged on and on. Kevin's class flies by while ensuring we all have not only gained or refreshed knowledge but had that right amount of hands-on practice. He covers so much in his 3-hour training that it's best to just take the class to discover all it encompasses. And--Kevin? See you in two years, my friend.

Which means they have stories of emergencies that happen to them and they can relate to the serious lessons being taught. I am sorry Ted A. with the one star review doesn't normally learn through conversation and other's experiences. It sounds like Ted wanted a straight forward list and then to leave. That's my guess. But, for me it was a 2.5 hour class and it was all encompassing. She covered all the material and she had added advice and stories to back up her lessons. For example, I needed my CPR cert because I am applying to be a Nanny. Since she asked me what job I needed the CPR cert for, she was able to give me advice about knowing for sure what addresses I am at in case I need to call 911, because she knows as a Nanny, I won't always be stationary. I am grateful she brought that to my attention and would recommend her class to anyone needing their CPR cert. She has a great attitude and is highly knowledgeable. Will probably go back in 2 years.

I then was able to take the skills portion at the actual office which is just next door to Black Raven brewery. Carrie was our instructor and was very lively and informative.
