Last year I had a leak under my slab and read reviews about CPR and decided to try them out. I was not disappointed. My leak was quickly isolated and within a couple of hours I was leak free AND you could not tell where they had to cut into the slab. CPR will by my ONLY plumbing go to. read more

Extremely disappointed! I have NEVER written a bad review until now. I'm unsure if the owner was having a bad day and decided to take it out on his returning client or what his actual gripe was. Nevertheless, take a moment to read this review. I've used this company several times during the pandemic, and I have never encountered any issues previously when requesting the tech to wear a mask in my home, I understand wearing a mask is an individual's right. However, I do NOT think it is an issue that needs to be addressed in the way it was during a conversation with the owner. The tone of the owner was passive-aggressive and extremely unprofessional. I made an appointment over a week ago. A lady from CPR Plumbing contacted me the day before my appointment to advise me they would not be able to come to my residence due to issues with the scheduling. We were able to select another date within the same week for service. Fast-forward to today. I received a text notification confirming the appointment, I reached out to CRP Plumbing to confirm, and to request the technician to wear a mask if possible. The lady replied, "no problem, I will add it in the notes" less than 2 minutes later I received a call from a hostile owner advising me "if you want us to wear a mask, we are not the company for you". I was a bit confused with the statement. I never had any problems with the tech wearing a mask in any of the previous appointments before. The owner went on a rant stating "we go into many, many houses daily. My sons have had COVID, I've had COVID, and I don't know if any of my techs have COVID. Even with the booster shots, you can still get COVID. And I don't think I would feel comfortable coming to your house and exposing your house to COVID. we don't carry masks on any of the trucks". I tried to calm this conversation down by stating that I could provide a mask and IF the technicians did not feel comfortable wearing a mask, I would refrain from utilizing the part of the house where the techs would be working until the job was completed. Problem solved right? NO! The owner then went on to reiterate his statement above in even more of an agitated and condescending tone. I wanted to avoid escalating the call to a place that I deemed inappropriate for business purposes, so I asked if he was canceling the appointment due to my request or if he would be able to send the techs out. He stated "no". I hung up the phone floored! And decided to cancel the appointment furthermore discounting their services. It appears the owner wanted to pick a fight that was non-provoked. It's clear this company does NOT have a code of ethics and they do not value their customers. read more

I called because my pipes were totally clogged. Toilets almost overflowing and backing up in to the showers. When I called to get someone out to fix it, he gave me some recommendations to get it fixed at no charge. I have no idea about the quality of his work but I'd recommend him simply for his integrity. **update**After 10 days, I now have a leak at the faucet. That is why I am giving him one star. At first I felt like the problem was going to be fixed, but when I had the new leak after Chad and CPR Plumbing had done the work, I called him because the work was supposed to be guaranteed, he came to my house and gave me my money back and said he couldn't fix the problem. Ugh! Starting over AGAIN! I won't be using CPR Plumbing in the future because I don't feel like he tried to help fix my problem. I "WAS" happy with the work of Chad Jones, owner of CPR Plumbing, in The Colony. After using another local plumber last year to fix a burst pipe due to weather, I ran into the same problem this year. I don't believe the other plumber understood how to correctly fix the problem. Chad replumbed using Pex, a newer material that expands, which had never been mentioned to me before. Unbelievably good! I highly recommend this company. I accidentally drilled a hole in a natural gas pipe that was just behind the sheetrock while putting up some bookshelves on a Sunday. These guys responded immediately and fixed it so fast and so well, we were back to normal (except for the hole in the wall) within 30 minutes from when they arrived. Crazy good! When it comes time to select a plumber, electrician or other home repair service, I get extremely nervous, because it is hard to know who is going to be good. We developed a leak in our garage and needed a plumber, so I looked at reviews on Yelp and saw that CPR had mostly stellar reviews. I called yesterday afternoon, and they came out promptly this morning. Chad and Taylor were both super polite and friendly, and made sure to inform us before they did anything. It took awhile to find the leak, because it appeared to be a slab leak. They were persistent, located the leak in a wall that was seeping to another area. They made the repairs quickly, cleaned up well, and took care to not make a mess when they were working. I highly recommend CPR Plumbing, and will call them again if I need a plumber. Very Disappointed! Beware, if you have any problems. We called Chad out to repair our Washer connection, and he failed to properly seal the pipe connection and check for leaks before he left. Subsequently, the water leaked in my wall for 4-5 hours before it was noticed. Despite his assurances he would take care of any damages, he reported the damage to his insurance company and then promptly denied he was at fault for the damage. NOW I am having to fight his insurance company to repair my floor! What a disappointment. read more

Get an estimate first. I failed to do so and a 45 minute PVC above ground 18 inch replacement was $450 including 20 to go get PVC pipe from Home Depot. Was scheduled days before and not an emergency and at beginning of business day. read more

Our water heater sprung a leak in the middle of the night and was flooding our garage. The valve was broken, so there was nothing we could do to stop the water! Chad came over right away and got it stopped. The next morning they installed a new (better) heater and hauled the old one off. These guys are really nice. I called CPR Plumbing believing I had a leak in a pipe just outside of my foundation. They came out that day exactly when they said they would, which seemed odd to me as I have never had a service person of any profession actually show up exactly when they said they would! After it was discovered the issue was more serious than I previously thought, Adam told me exactly what the issue was (and showed me) and what the options were to fix it. The owner Chad also came out to verify the issue and gave me the complete rundown of what the potential cost could be. What I really appreciated was how Chad let me know exactly what the possible scenarios could be and what options I had and what it could cost, he made sure I had all of the information. After all of that THEY STILL COMPLETED THE WORK FOR THE LOWEST PRICE OPTION THAT DAY! I was in a bad position and they didn't try to take advantage of that at all, there was no attempt to price gouge me or talk me into a more expensive unnecessary option.
