I chose to get my BLS skills test done here at CPR Class Today. As a medical graduate I had to go through a couple of these over the years, but this place by far gave me the best experience. The instructor came on time, and even though I was the only one signed up that day he still attended to my skills and answered all my questions. The instructor was very helpful, highly knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor to lighten things up, as well as threw in a few questions about real-life situations we could encounter, which isn't even mentioned in the AHA manual! If you miss a question or a step in one of the skills, he doesn't hold it against you (like a lot of other instructors I've encountered). Instead he facilitates learning and makes sure you know why it's important for you to know what you're doing. Overall, I highly recommend this place. A+ read more

Great place to get your BLS certification! I've been getting my cert here every other year since 2012, and will continue to do so! I've been here so many times that the instructor recognizes me each time, lol. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind as well. The website is easy to use and navigate, and it's where I've booked my appointments each time. I had to find a CPR BLS Renewal Course last minute and this business had many classes that were open. A lady in my class said she booked the night before. The availability of classes was one of the reasons I highly recommend this place. The instructor kept it short and simple, it is scheduled for 4 hrs but we were there for about 2.5. We were able to help each other out on the test at the end and got our certificates through email before leaving the class. Make sure to have your smart phone with you. Fantastic! This was my first time getting certified. I took the BLS and AED for health professionals. Instructor was so kind, funny, patient and made sure we all understood everything. He had everything in order, supplies for everyone, clean, all dolls were sanitized, facility was comfortable and he provided water bottles. He made sure to provide opportunities for returning students to test their memory, while making sure to not rush or leave behind first time students. We all pre-paid for the classes and took time off from our work to be in this class. The least that they could do was to notify us if the classes were cancelled. We want our refunds back. read more

This Cpr/Bls class was my favorite class by far! You revive certification by American Heart Association which is what most companies/ healthcare facilities require. The owner and instructor is very friendly and thorough! It was roughly 2.5 hrs long but time flew by! Usually classes are long.. boring..and you watch alot of videos that won't stick with you. Horrible seedy place! Had to circle the block several times to find the entrance on a back street with no signage! The instructor was taking a nap. Overweight slug of a man. Was rude and unconcerned that I am a busy nurse who can't necessarily reschedule on a dime! I was not allowed to take the class that day and he refused to give me a refund. I can't believe I went to this place. I needed to take a CPR class right away and this was the first place I found. Can you say worst experience ever? The instructor could care less about this course and I'm sure he just wants the money. The instructor barely taught us anything and just made us watch the video for 3 hours! And when he did try to explain something he would talk so fast. And he was also very rude! He expected everyone to basically just know everything! Isn't this why I took the course to learn something especially from you(the instructor). I thought he would be more hands on, actually teach people what to do, and not rely on a video! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I made an appointment to have my BLS skills checked off and the instructor never showed up. I waited a half an hour past my appointment time, hoping someone would show up. During that time I knocked and called several times. No answer. After leaving I sent them an email, explaining how disappointed I was in their services and I received the most BS reply! Whoever responded to my email, claimed that they were in the office until 1800 (my appointment was at 1630) but they didn't hear me knocking due to the "noise in the office." I knocked repeatedly for a half hour, in addition to calling several times. Trust me, no one was there and the office was quiet. Don't waste your time with this place. The only reason why I am giving this business 2 stars instead of 1 is for the convenience. We registered for the the course online and attended the next day. However, upon attending the instructor was late and had an attitude. I paid to learn CPR not exchange smart alec comments. None the less, he persisted. In addition, he was not prepared for the course. He had no idea who enrolled and how many people were attending. Looked and seemed as if he rolled out of bed and decided to show up and show a video about CPR. Maybe if he had a grain of passion regarding his profession he would be able to deliver a better course. My suggestion is to use this place as a LAST resort. Took my BLS renewal course here and glad I did. The instructor was detailed oriented and provided rationale which made it easy to remember the sequence of steps for CPR. They also had a manikin which measured the depth of compressions as well as the rate. The manikin made me truly realize depth needed to provide optimal compressions. This is a good class. However, the instructor gets there a bit late. Also even though there are drop in classes, it's better to pay for your class ahead of time. If nobody signs up for class ahead of time then he does not show up. I like that there are classes practically everyday which is helpful for someone who has a busy schedule. read more

Needed to take this CPR class for my Medical Assistant School. Very easy to get in contact with them and they have very open availability ! I joined a walk in session , had my $60 and he was ready to start the class promptly on time ! The class was at a good steady pace and he made sure to repeat everything so that we understood ! It was very clean in the inside , the test dummy's were in good condition and clean and he even provided mints and water for us as well which is a plus! The instructor is a cool guy ! I needed a BLS CPR refresher course in order for my certification to stay current. I showed up as a walk-in on a day when I had the time available, and got in the class (I paid cash upon arrival). There were only 3 other students, so the class moved along quickly and efficiently. The instructor was great; he was very straight-forward and funny, and he stressed the important points repeatedly so we had them committed to memory. We all passed the test, and received our cards. I will return for a First Aid certification later this month. The only "strange" part of the experience was having to wait outside a locked entrance door until the exact time the class was scheduled to begin. There was no receptionist or waiting room, but other than that, it was a fast, convenient way to get re-certified. read more

I have taken CPR classes in the past and hated re-certification. Found this one online, was a little hesitant about it by the appearance but was nice inside. Had refreshments for us which was nice. people were very hospitable. The instructor made this class enjoyable and pleasant. It wasn't dry and boring considering its almost the same as my last certification.The Instructor was up to date with all the new changes and answered my questions without flipping through the books. I had a very poor experience.... I needed my skills class for BLS, found a time & date, and paid $54 online. It was deducted from my "financial institution" the same day. Trouble was, I never got a conformation via email or phone...I called 3 times, no call back. I only wanted to know if I had a seat or not. I finally got a phone call today....the man was rude & I didn't understand why?.....so I canceled, he said "great" I called my bank to reverse the charges, which they did. I called AHA and got another reservation for the same day that I wanted, and for $40 instead of $54. I feel this could have been easily resolved in a courteous way. WTH?? read more
