Wasn't sure what to expect from a Motorcycle Training course but was pleasantly surprised at the level of training you get through a two day course. I left feeling like it was a very good use of my time verses simply taking the written and riding tests at DMV. I'm by far a safer rider having gone through the course! The instructors are excellent and care about your safety during and after the course. I plan on returning to take the intermediate course in the near future to sharpen my rising skills even more.

Very unprofessional atmosphere, management is deceptive and will gaslight you. I have never seen such a mismanaged CMSP site before.

Learned a lot about good driving skills and had a good variety of driving conditions. This was very good training for the DMV behind-the-wheel test and proved that my student driver had learned a lot of good information from Ricardo's, too, and not just from the parents. The one-to-one ratio is so much better than having another student driver in the back seat that means fewer distractions and well worth the time. As parents we were very impressed by how much better our new driver was after every lesson. The pick-up and return times were always right on schedule and included a brief report card of areas to improve on as well as notations about driving that was good or very good. I recommend this driving school since there are options out there.

I understand scheduling can be frustrating, and I admit there was some confusion on my end. However, I don't think it's acceptable for a business to speak to a potential customer in such a disrespectful and hostile manner over a simple scheduling mix-up. The policy is 72 hours notice to make changes, however I notified them more than 100 hours in advance. If you're looking for a driving instructor who communicates patiently and professionally, this was not my experience. Please take your business elsewhere.

My main instructor was booked out and also went on vacation, so I thought I would miss the chance to take my test. I found Bay Hill on Yelp and decided to book them for two things: 1. A two hour crash course in preparation of my test. 2. Vehicle rental for the test + 30 minute prep before. The two hour crash course was perfect. My instructor was calm, gave great instructions and made it so easy to feel comfortable behind the wheel. He was able to frame things that I needed work on in a way that I was able to process and internalize. By the end, he had me Feeling confident going into my big day. The day of my test, I met with JP at the DMV 45 minutes before my appointment. He walked me through the car I rented and what to expect for pre-test check (which was exactly how it went down, so I was well prepared for it.). Then we did some practice runs of the test route while JP very detailedly pointed out things I need to do and what examiners will look for during the test. Then he lined up with me until it was my turn. The entire time, he patiently answered any questions I had and it's clear from my time with him that he loves what he does and genuinely does his best to make you feel as confident and prepared as you can be for your test. Long story long, I passed my test and JP and the Bay Hill Driving School team deserve credit even though I only took two lessons with them. As an adult going for their license, you deal with way more self-doubt and anxiety than your younger counterparts, but these guys were able to quell a lot of that in the brief time I worked with them. I can't recommend them enough. Great instructors and even better people. Thank you JP and team!

She would smack gum, eat food, and generally had an attitude of not caring. Only until my last class did she run me through a couple of rules but I never really learnt anything under her teaching. It was high pressure and everything I learned was like being tested without knowing there was a test or what the material was on. The only saving grace here is that the people at the office are great, they kindly signed my second permit and gave me another learning certificate for $25 when I lost my first one. I would shop around for a better driving school before settling on this one.

Because I was uneasy paying up front for all 3 lessons, Lindsey said I could pay for each lesson by check at the time of my appointment. This sounded great. Bill ended up being my child's driving instructor for the first lesson. Like other people have said, he did have his hand on the steering wheel most of the time, not allowing my child to have their own control. I thought this was weird, but honestly, I just needed the lesson for dmv purposes. Fast forward to several months later and I try to book the last 2 lessons. Because it's a new year now, the male on the phone said the price had gone up. I understand. The price went up. But I already had made a pre existing agreement with Lindsey, so my initial quoted prices should be locked in and honored. I already had the first lesson. The male on the phone was very insistent that even though I had spoken with Lindsey on pricing, I still have to pay the new increased price. Now how is this fair? I'm still waiting to hear back from him...so we shall see how great of a company they are....or how money hungry they really are.

My daughter just finished her second lesson with Shelley. What I really liked about this school:…read more 1) They encourage the parent to go along on the drive so you can learn how to instruct your child and be consistent with what the instructor is emphasizing. 2) There was no down time sitting in the car listening to the instructor. The two hour driving lesson was spent with my child driving - that's what I paid for! 3) The lessons have been challenging. I can do the easy stuff with my child; I want the two hour lesson to bring her to the next level. Shelley had her practice what she would need to know for the test and also what she would need to know for real driving (freeway lane changes, merging, narrow mountain road, etc.). 4) I also liked that I paid per lesson and didn't get hooked into three lessons from the beginning. Yes. we will do all three lessons with Shelley, but if the first lesson hadn't gone well then we didn't have any commitment. 5) My daughter's review "Ms. Shelley is a hoot. No really, she's a good teacher." Before the first lesson, my daughter was very scared. She even asked if she could cancel it. Shelley put her in the driver seat quickly, so she didn't have time to increase her anxiety. Shelley stayed calm and gave her confidence pointing out how well she was doing. And like I said, Shelley made it challenging (from Danville drove South Gate to North Gate roads then down Ygnacio through Walnut Creek) so that no matter where I took her during our practice in between lessons I could just refer back to her lesson and say this isn't as hard as what you did on your lesson.

However, there are some major administrative and counseling bottlenecks that desperately need to be addressed. First, the certificate processing timeline is incredibly frustrating. Even if you have completed all the required courses numerous semesters prior, you are left waiting for more than 4 months just for a Certificate of Achievement to be processed. For students trying to jump into the workforce or move forward with their careers, this kind of delay is unacceptable. Second, dealing with the counseling department can be a real headache. Many of the counselors seem to have very little knowledge about specific program requirements, and you often get the run-around when you're simply trying to get clear answers to achieve your educational goals. You really have to do your own heavy lifting and research to make sure you're on the right track. I want to love SCC, but the school really needs to step up its administrative efficiency and better train its counseling staff to support students who are doing the work to graduate.

What is that?! 2) They don't sell textbooks! So you need to travel to Fairfield to get them...along with other supplies that you need. 3) For a new building, they should've incorporated some "green" elements. The school I attend regularly (Ohlone College) just opened up a new campus in Newark and it's LEED certified (look it up). It opened up early this year, too. So...hmm...idk, I think it could've been constructed better. 4) Oh, and they don't sell real food.
