BACKSTORY Was referred to another Perio practice for a consultation. Was checking Cigna Dental site for in-network periodontists including the referral practice. This weirdly named one came up as Dr Reganato in their list with a high rating (low fees) and sounded great... always be wary of these things. Lesson re-learned. This is a very strange office. Or failing as a practice... They answer the phone "Hello" without identifying themselves by business name and individual aka "Business Name, Mary speaking, how may I help you?" And when pressed with "uhh is this a business" they respond with "Perio" like they don't want to state who they are... vibes like they are dodging debt collectors? Weird af. EXPERIENCE Tried to make an appointment, they ask for a referral from your dentist, if you contact them... to "build a rapport" with your dentist... aka trying to get more business (need more referrals do we?) Which tracks when they closed an office in Arlington Heights and barely have any reviews on Google or Yelp. I think it's because Cigna stated fees that seem very reasonable, and this guy doesn't want Cigna Dental patients. That is my guess... are they contracted to these rates? SHADY behavior by the dental office manager Elisa and the various Susan's as well. So, suss, their conversation had a sad desperation vibe... the 2nd follow-up chat with the receptionist before Elisa... showed the senile person didn't even know who she was talking to and almost booked me, then got my name, put me on hold, and said the whole lie about September as the next available date... perio referral consults are done immediately because you don't wait on gum issues, so why did you want a referral? Beware of this weird sketchy place... oh just looked up the office. Strip mall between a Halal Meat market and Nail Salon... so they seem very successful and legit. Do professional office people answer with just "hello" and don't ask for ID info when you call to look up your account? Or say that they delete emails when appointments aren't made after their follow-up call, because they thought you were someone else... seems odd to be soliciting appointments, but then having the Office Manager Elisa say theyre booked up for 3 months and next availability is in September... after they finally get your name. Dr Reganatto and his entire staff were absolutely what this scaredy cat patient needed. I went in for a crown lengthening and it was explained very thoroughly what would be done and they eased my fears of what the procedure would be like. On the day of the procedure I was treated with nothing but kindness, respect and great care. I would 100% recommend this office for any periodontal needs. An extra special shout out to the nurse (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) who was there for the consult, procedure and the follow up. What a wonderful nurse she is. I was referred to Anthony Reganato for a periodontal issue and planned to schedule treatment but never returned. I found his hardball sales tactics, over-aggressive recommendation, and immature conduct to be unworthy of any healthcare professional. The disrespectful behavior that I feel he demonstrated is a disgrace to his dental colleagues and the industry. As patients, choosing a specialist for a limited treatment can be difficult since trust is something that is earned and proven over time. We can only take a leap of faith and hope we're making the right decisions. I sought Anthony's expertise, in good faith, and feel that he used his license and privileged position to further his own self-interests at a susceptible point in time for me. He not only violated my autonomous patient rights, but I was fortunate to have followed the treatment recommendation of far more seasoned industry professionals. It seems to me that his bruised ego and hidden rage after being called out on his unprofessional business tactics significantly contributed to the reprehensible behavior that I had to manage. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team delivering periodontal care, Anthony described his role to me as that of a "wingman". My thoughts to the young specialist - THIS ISN'T WAR, Anthony. It's HEALTHCARE. People with oral health conditions needing treatment aren't enemies. You don't dictate who the leading aircraft will be.......and the patient is always the commander making the final decisions. It's unfortunate to have experienced irresponsible actions from such a talented young man with great potential. I'm disappointed that I can't recommend using Anthony Reganato for even a one-time only procedure. Dr Reganato performed gum grafting in May. I am thrilled with the results. No more gum sensitivity & my smile looks amazing. The procedure was minimally invasive & essentially pain free. Recovery time had minimal impact on my work & personal schedule. The doctor & his team were extremely personal & professional. They did a great job explaining the procedure which provided me with a great level of comfort. I highly recommend Dr Reganato. I can't say I've ever been super effusive about a dentist before, but Dr. Reganato inspires my enthusiasm. I've never had a medical expert speak to me in the way that he does - he is at once knowledgeable, compassionate, and respectful. He has never talked down to me; rather, he begins on the premise that we both care about my dental health and overall understanding and wellbeing. He spends significant time with me on every visit to ensure I understand diagnoses and procedures. He is an excellent surgeon and his bedside manner is impeccable - he's warm and funny, but also excellent at his job and a complete professional. I've seen Dr. Reganato for regular cleanings / checks and two extensive surgeries, and I cannot recommend him or the staff at CPID enough. I recovered from my surgeries incredibly quickly with little pain and genuine support and care from him and his team. Heather is capable and kind, and executed deep cleans beautifully. Front desk staff is warm, welcoming, and helpful. If you need a periodontist, truly look no further. CPID represents the gold standard. I don't even dread going!!!! read more

I have been going to a Periodontist for years and I am blessed to have such wonderful, caring and professional people taking care of me at CPID. Dr. Reganato and his staff is the "A TEAM". The administrative staff is the dream team and my Hygienist, whom I've known a very long time is AWESOME! I have quarterly appointments and I always look forward to going. His office is not the traditional Dentist office. It's decorated with beautiful art which is warm and very relaxing . Everything about his office is peaceful and calm. His demeanor is professional, caring and relaxing. He's excellent in explaining what needs to be done along with how and why it should be done. In December, he will be extracting a tooth and then prepare me for an implant. Ordinarily, I would probably be dreading it, but I'm not because I know he's an expert at what he does. I recommend Dr. Reganato and his "A TEAM" to anyone who needs a good Periodontist. I was taught that trust is not given, but earned and Dr. Reganato has my trust. I went to Dr. Reganato for gingival flap surgery. My situation was very complex and to add to it I am pregnant as well. Dr. Reganato is very compassionate. He made me feel very comfortable and eased my mind of any fears I had throughout the whole procedure. Not only did he take his time but he was so thorough. All of the infection and pain I had subsided after the procedure. I could not be more grateful for all of his time. patience, and efforts- this includes the diligence and thoughtfulness of all his staff members. His assistant, Alpha is so sweet and very helpful, answering all pre and post op questions. Her sweet voice and demeanor are so comforting and settled me during and after surgery. Elisa who deals with just about every is amazing! She worked so hard to assist with all financial issues and worked with me through insurance challenges. I waited almost six months to find the right doctor and Dr. Reganato is just that person! I am so blessed that I was referred to him and I could not be more thankful to be feeling much healthier. Dr. Reganato is great but staff leaves much to be desired. Some of the worst customer service. The minute you walk in, the front desk staff completely ignored me. I'm literally standing in front of the main girl and she can't even look up. Treatment plan full of typos and errors. I would not trust much from them and therefore will not be returning. I would give this a -10 if it allowed me to give that rating. First of all, I have to say they are nice at first but wait. That doesn't last long. They charge so much that you can't possibly pay it and then they recommend care credit to help you. Great. You think it's all good and I thought it was a great program. No interest if you make the minimum payment that they tell you. So you do that. And then you incur more charges and want to put it on your care credit account after being told it's a minimum of $200 to do that. Well my incurred charges were over $200. Then they tell you oh sorry. The doctor changed the minimum to $1,000. Well great. Now I have to come up with more money and still pay my care credit account. If that's not enough to make you crazy, the doctor that did my surgery is no longer there which is fine with me because she was horrible - Dr. Grace Koh - just so you know. All she did when she was doing my laser surgery was talk about her son and all his antics and talked me into having a tooth pulled that didn't need to be pulled. There was nothing wrong with it. The reason she pulled it was because she thought she was going to put an implant in for an exorbitant amount of money. I was like no I can't afford that. Oh yes and when she pulled the tooth she left a jagged edge from the tooth next to it sticking out. When I went back after my tongue was torn to shreds, she said there's nothing wrong. It's a stitch. It will go away. I went back 2 days later because I couldn't stand the pain and lo and behold, the tooth had to be shaved down because there was metal sticking out tearing my tongue apart. Thank God a real periodontist looked at it and caught it. He was great. He now owns the business as far as I know. But I won't go back because the experience was life changing. To make a long story even longer the care credit program sucks. They've been taking the minimum payment out of my checking account that they recommended so I wouldn't be charged interest. Now all of a sudden they're telling me I owe $400 some odd dollars by the end of November or I will be charged the interest for the last year. I incurred other charges that were added to this account and was told that the payment amount changed but it would still satisfy my promotion. NOT TRUE OBVIOUSLY! My advice to anyone needing periodontist work, please DO NOT under any circumstances go to THE CENTER FOR PERIODONTICS AND IMPLANT SURGERY in Arlington Heights. Pain free laser surgery my ass! It was worse than having major surgery but only because of the incompetent Dr. Koh they had working there. Totally should lose her license and maybe her attitude too. It sucked. And forget about professionalism. She had NONE. I will say one good thing they have going for them is their hygienist they have there is very competent and professional. Also, Alicia at the front desk is very accommodating. But for any dental work run as far as you can away from this place. It's awful. Find a dentist that will be up front with you and not change their policies along the way. read more

From the appointment setting all the way until I walked out the door, I truly felt cared for. The location was tricky, but the front desk did everything they could to give me a heads up. Very bad experience . The main receptionist is not friendly . This practice only cares about cash payment and really don't take too much effort to submit any inquiry to the insurance. Dr Reganato does not spend too much time with the patient to explain and suggest the treatment . It is done by his dental assistants . I don't recommend this doctor to anyone. read more
