Our party of 4 walked in the super cute diner, then promptly greeted, and with a smile were told we could sit where we wanted. Our waitstaff within a minute to give us menus, taking our drink orders. She came right back, asking if we needed a few more minutes -- we did. After a few minutes she returned. We ordered breakfast and oh my gosh, it was freshly prepared deliciousness. Driving through town looking for a place to eat. This cozy place caught my eye as I wanted something off the beaten path and not a chain restaurant. The inside was much larger than expected! Hole in the wall gem alert! Great priced good food If you like biscuits and gravy then stop in and enjoy bc they have some good ones! Also have very good homemade soups. we walked in and sat at a dirty table. the waitresses cleaned it up pretty fast, + 1/2 star. they dropped off our food and it looked amazing, + 1/2 star. water tasted exceptional as well. the fries, sausage links, ketchup, syrup, and french toast tasted amazing, + 2 stars. they were also playing taylor swift, + 1 star. the eggs were cold and didn't taste really good but i won't take away a star. overall this restaurant was pretty good. wish i could come back but i don't live over here. read more

A cute restaurant with super friendly and welcoming staff and affordable tasty food. They also have some of the best coffee I've had at a small diner. We went several times in the last couple weeks, and adored every experience, every server, and every plate of food. I actually like this restaurant and order To go a few times a month. I always leave the girls a tip even tho I go through drive through but today I have a very unpleasant experience with Lacy. She messed up my order by giving me a cup instead of a bowl and they also over cooked my eggs which Isn't a big deal but when I got home and noticed this cup was half empty I wasn't happy and called back. When I called she claimed I ordered a cup which I didn't and was rude with me on the phone. I'm normally easy going but it's ridiculous to treat a regular customer like that even if you don't realize they go there often. Honestly will probably not be going back. read more

This is a great little diner restaurant about 5-10 minutes off hwy 57. It's on a road that parallels 57- so you won't lose too much time if you are on a long trip. Spacious and clean a terrific local flavor kind of place. Waitress was great- very attentive and checking to be sure we had everything and refilling coffee. Also- they bring a glass of water when you added coffee. I love that! It's a little thing- but part of the great service to me. The food is traditional diner menu. Hubs had biscuits and gravy. The service okay. Only thing missing was a juke box. They did have a slew of newspapers to choose from for reading which I am sure were provided from the numerous patrons who were there ahead of me. This location, however, needs a BUS BOY! What on earth is a restaurant with the number of four tops they have and NOT have a bus boy? I walked into this seat yourself location to find ONE clean table. There were many vacant tables but they were all filthy. The logo hangs from an awning and looks well seasoned as parts of it slowly begin to peel, lending the confidence you need... This place has been here a while. The specials were simple and on point, as one would hope. 2 pieces of fried chicken, 4 pieces of fried chicken, or chicken and dumplings. I'm a man that believes in limiting choices. So, I feel relieved to see my options are chicken, chicken or chicken. However, if choice is your thing, this menu doesn't disappoint. Grab your bags and get ready for a journey across the world of cuisine. Sure, the basics are covered, pork chops, hamburgers and more chicken. But, suddenly you find yourself amongst global delicacies like coconut shrimp, filet mignon and Mediterranean gyros. Suddenly this cozy table feels more like a cozy train ride through Europe's finest. As for me, I asked our server to make the difficult decision between the classic Patty melt and a new menu feature, the chicken Philly. As a top seller, she strongly recommended the Patty melt and it did not disappoint. The burger Patty was cooked precisely and placed between two grease soaked pieces of rye bread. But that was not the story here. Thats because The Cozy Table has entered into an exclusive partnership with Sysco to feature their new private label condiment "Sysco Mayonnaise". It wasnt long before I found myself licking the beige plastic dinnerware and enjoying a large helping of House Recipe ketchup + fries on the side. Worst service and food i ever ate. First of all the waitresses didn't kno where they were. My food came out ice cold. Had to ask for my waitress. She popped my eggs in the microwave and then asked if I wanted it cooked longer. Still only Luke warm but I didn't want rubber eggs. Then she stated would discount my food that I could barely eat. She took $1 off. I never seen her after she delivered the food. Will not recommend to anyone. Brunch was great as was the service. Pancakes were delish. One of our favorite hometown type eateries while camping at the lake.

Coffee : no flavor. Weak, not acidic or bitter but just weak . I tasted more creamer than coffee. (2 little cream cups ) Steak : no flavor, mediocre cut at best , did not smell appetizing. Couldn't eat it without steak sauce. Hashbrowns : arrived for some reason lukewarm or even cold at times. There weren't many people in the restaurant when I was there so I know there was no rush. What has happened to this place was one of the best places to eat you didn't know about now breakfast all day stops at 11 now and the service has went down hill at there to yesterday and staff was more worried about closing then serving the tables I had to get out of seat to get my coffee and water refilled never came back and asked my wife if she needed a refill and the had to ask for my own To go box to leave I get breakfast for my kids and me every Sunday but after today I think I will be looking for a new place to spend money read more

Place was very busy, took a little while to get served, but the waitress was very helpful and sweet. The steak and eggs were good, not great, my oldest son had the shrimp stir fry, and said it was really good, my youngest son had the gyro , and shared a bite with me, it was very very good!!!!!! We had their country platter for breakfast. Their biscuits are the lightest biscuits I've ever had. The platter consists of 2 eggs cooked to order, 1/2 order biscuits and gravy, and an order of hash brown potatoes. The 1/2 order biscuits and gravy is one large biscuit covered with gravy with sausage. This plus coffee and a small orange juice for the two of us came to just under $15. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We will definitely go back again. read more
