I love my couch! Found Cozy Couch through Yelp. Went by one Sunday afternoon and really liked the couch selections. Kept a couple of them in mind and came back the following weekend. On second visit, I decided which couch I wanted (of course I pick the most expensive one on the floor). Came back for my 3rd visit and brought my sister and niece to help me spend almost an hour picking out the fabric for the custom made couch. There are so many choices, almost too many choices. Zach was super helpful, and didn't mind how long we spent at the store to make decisions, giving us various options on fabric, wood, length, etc. Estimated 3-4 weeks for delivery. Overpriced; unhelpful customer service. Went in to get a custom couch cushion quoted for the built in bench in our apartment. Zack asked for dimensions, then quoted $400-500 in ~5 sec. This was about 1/2 the price of a full sofa for a single cushion. When asked for more details on pricing Zack said "that's just what it costs--time, materials, labor." Not a lot of help, we left. I don't like dealing with sales people in general but they were mellow and low pressure, answering questions but not trying to push anything on us. We got some ideas on the style of couch we wanted, and also looked at some fabric options. The sales guy gave us some notes about everything we had looked at , but we decided to think about it. After about a week of checking out some other stores we decided to go back and get a Damon couch. It was comfortable and pretty reasonably priced for a custom made piece, made in California, not China like so many other places. They told us it would take 2-4 weeks but it came in about a week and a half. I ended up picking it up myself and the guy at the store helped me load it in my vehicle. When we finally got it into our place and all set up, it looked great and was really comfortable, nice and deep for lounging out. New to the city and living with roommates, I wanted to find a really big sectional that wouldn't be too expensive but still pretty (I love tuffed looks), would be reliably made (we have a 2 yr old golden) and would also be comfy (hate sectionals that are too squished or firm). So many of their sectionals checked all these boxes! There's also endless customized options available and the owners/salesmen (I think two brothers run the whole show) we're great. They were extremely informative, helpful, shared seemingly unbiased opinions and helped me come to a quick decision that I'm so far very happy with. I checked out other stores as well but didn't find the products to be comparatively well made or the owners as charismatic & friendly. The experience of picking out the couch etc was fine. We received good service. The couch took a little longer than the anticipated delivery date by about 2 to 3 weeks. No biggie. The reason why I am giving only 3 stars is that the craftsmanship on the tufting is unacceptable because it gave out the first month we had the couch. Ok, not a huge deal but we need to send the bench cushion out to have it fixed with a 2-week minimum return time. I say "minimum" because the suggested method is to bring it on a Friday when the delivery truck goes out to minimize the time without a a cushion. If I bring it on a Saturday I must wait until the following Friday to have it shipped out for repair. That comes to about 3 weeks to fix tufting. How long will it take to fix the tufting on the backing which is attached to the couch? That has not happened yet and hopefully does not. I am disappointed because we expected better craftsmanship and way less hassle to fix tufting. We have not brought it in yet because we are trying to find a Friday to take off just to bring in the cushion. read more

They have great merchandise and the best, best sleeper sofa insides. You'll want to splurge on the memory foam mattress for your sleeper sofa. It's a little bit more but substantially better than the non-memory foam mattress. There are no slats and you can't feel the usual uncomfortable parts of a sleeper sofa. It's also much better than the inflatable air mattress ones which can pop or just feel strange. read more

I found Cozy Couch on Craigslist and visited their showroom in San Francisco and can truly say that they were exactly what we were looking for. Very low key with very knowledgeable staff to help you when you have questions and leave you alone when you are trying to decide. Truly a pleasant experience! Once we decided on the couch we wanted (chesterfield style, duh), we went through what seemed like a thousand different fabric options in which to have our couch upholstered. Really an endless selection of colors, patterns, fabrics and feels for you to sift through but it never felt overwhelming (really just felt accommodating). As we selected a couch with nail heads we were able to select the finish on those too, really cool. Then 2 weeks after we made our order and purchase we changed our minds on the finish of the nail heads (yes we are those people). We called Cozy Couch and without a second thought they immediately called the manufacturer who agreed to make the switch even though they had already begun installing the nails. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR FICKLE CUSTOMERS! The couch was delivered 4 days earlier than promised, carried up narrow stairs. through a narrow door and placed exactly where we wanted by the delivery gentlemen. I spent so much time looking for a couch it was ridiculous. I originally wanted to get cheap stuff from Ikea but nothing there appealed to me and the prices there weren't as cheap as I thought they would be. Right when you walk in, Gabe and Marcelo, their friendly and knowledgable sales team make you feel welcome and really do a great job of finding out what type of couch best suits your place and lifestyle. Prices are reasonable as well. For a custom couch as awesome and comfortable as the one we got, I've seen prices double or even triple at other places in the city. What really set cozy couch apart for me though was their amazing 2 man delivery team who had to take off the legs of the couch and shimmy and shake it in my apartment building doorway and then up 2 flights of stairs. I was having a small panic attack when they were struggling to get it in at first but they kept calm with smiles on their face. I can't recommend this place enough. All star service! We went to Cozy Couch on a whim and am so glad that we did! We worked with Marcelo in store and he was friendly and courteous and even recognized us when we came back the second time. We told him what we wanted and he helped us to pick the most affordable configuration to match our needs. He told us where the upgrades were really worth it and which ones we could skip. Production time took about a month, and we had selected a fabric that required that timeline. They were upfront about the timing and the couches arrived on schedule. Delivery was also amazing! They communicated with us often with timing updates so we knew when to expect them with the nice touch of letting us know the names of who was coming. They brought in the new couches quickly, unwrapped them, and did a full inspection of both couches. They fixed one small issue quickly and it was probably something I would have missed at first. They even added the felt pads to the legs for us! They gave us a full run down on maintenance and info on when to flip cushions, how the couch would break in over time, etc. They were friendly, courteous, and detail oriented. Definitely more hands on service than I expected! They removed our old furniture quickly, efficiently and all with a great attitude. We would definitely recommend Cozy Couch to others! read more

I saw them online and decided to stop by the store; I wanted to be able to seat at the sofas since I wanted to make sure it was going to be a good fit for me and my husband. I have back problems and needed the sofa that was firm and wasn't going to fall apart. I bought a tight back sofa with bottoms on the seats. I was able to custom the seats for "firm" just like I needed. I picked the fabric and leg finish, and my sofa arrived in only two weeks. The lady that helped me was very helpful and knowledgeable. After (seriously!!) browsing in almost every sofas store in SF (at least 12 of them), there is no competition to this store. We order most of our furniture on line, but we wanted to try the sofa out... in Cozy Couch you can choose the shape, size, fabric, color- exactly how you want it, in the best prices (we paid less than 2000 for a big sectional). This is not IKEA quality- the sofas are USA made and even I could tell... High praise to Marcelo that was so great: gave us time to consult and think, but when we asked, gave us the best advice. He was funny and sweet. The delivery is guaranteed for 2-4 weeks, but when we told Marcelo we just moved and have only a mattress, he promised to make an effort- the sofa was at our house after 8 days!! I've been looking for a comfortable, affordable and modern looking couch for a month on several big brand stores and also some of the new direct-to-customer websites like article.com and haven't found anything quite to my taste and my budget - until I discovered Cozy Couch. I met with Zach in their store and he is a huge couch nerd. Seriously, this guy really knows his stuff about couches (and he also personally does white glove delivery too). He helped me with all my questions and I found a design that I really liked and found comfortable but the one on display in the store was a Sectional and I wanted a regular couch. Zach showed me all the different customizations I could make on that design and I finally found a 2-seat couch design that I liked and that's also in my price range. The only small issue I have is that they don't have a catalog of all the different customizations you could make. So you have to just visualize things and imagine what your couch would be like. They have swatches of fabrics and legs but they only help so much. But luckily they do take pictures of all the different couches they sell and Zach showed them to be on their computer some of the couches at other customers' houses and that helped me make a decision easier. Cozy Couch, if you can take some of those pictures and create a nice looking catalog on your website, it'll really help! They promised a delivery within 2-4 weeks but my couch got delivered in 10 days. They kept me updated during the delivery process and everything went smooth! Couldn't figure out why it was so difficult to find an apt.-sized couch in SF (other than ordering a custom made couch), until I stumbled upon Cozy Couch where I found the exact couch, with a nice high-end design, quality of fabric, good workmanship and good prices. Went in here since I'm in the market for a new sofa. The sofas definitely seem cheaply made with basic foam but are also fairly reasonably priced. They had a huge selection of fabrics, which is great. My main beef is that I want to make sure the dimensions of the sofa are what I want...When I asked if they do a sketch or design with all of the measurements, I was told that they don't. She said they have a sheet (which she showed me) that THEY use to design the sofa. The sheet only had several measurements (eg, length, width, and height) - not all of the dimensions that you might want to specify (distance between arm and seat, seat height, etc.). It didn't seem particularly professionally run and seemed to provide only basic foam cushions. This a pretty basic store with one or two designs and they seem to customize to a limited degree without a great way to verify that the sofa will have the dimensions you expect. This might be adequate but I'm looking for something a bit higher quality. read more

This is a great place to get a custom sofa at an extremely reasonable price and get it in a very short timeframe. I had shopped many of the larger mainstream places (Room & Board, CB2, Crate & Barrel, etc.) and found their prices to be higher, long delivery times (if you weren't buying stock fabrics) and little flexibility in sizes. Cozy Couch has a great selection of styles and fabrics. The salesperson there - Marcelo - took care to walk through options and I didn't feel at all pressured. He promised fast delivery and I was happily surprised that I got my new custom sofa exactly as I wanted it and it was delivered before Christmas (I purchased first week in December!). Best sofa I've ever sat on! A bit pricey, but absolutely worth what you pay for. I've had Ikea sofas before and they have nothing on these guys. They were able to customize so much - I came to them with a size requirement and a bunch of other things I wanted, like pet friendly upholstery, pull out bed, etc, and they were able to accommodate them all. Just moved into my first apartment (YAY ME!) So I was surfing on craigslist trying to find a slightly used queen bed. A while back I had my eye on a storage bed but it was was SUPER expensive and sold out every where so my search continued for a SLIGHTLY used queen bed. But oh did I get lucky! I ran across a AD for a KING storage bed and it was even more beautiful than the one I had my eye on and it was LESS EXPENSIVE ! So I RUSHED to the city from Richmond and there it was in all it's glory LARGE AND IN CHARGE. The nice gentleman helped me and my cousin get the bed into my truck. I waited to the next day to put it up and after getting it all together we discovered a piece was missing a support beam. :-( I called and they were BEYOND helpful and apologetic. Today they rushed me the part put it together for my mom while I was at work. THEY are the best!
