Overall everything was delicious. Unfortunately we got the same dishes so we only tried the one appetizer and entree. The nachos were almost $20, but very good. They were loaded with shrimp and scallops. . The tablespoon size of guacamole and Pico (that's actually how much was given) was disappointing in both size and taste (bland). The enchilada came with sour cream, lettuce, and rice. The rice had no taste at all, I've had plain white rice with more of a taste. The enchilada itself was nice and filled with shrimp. Another downer was the sauce on it was very skimpy making the meal dry, but the filling was good enough I'll give it a second chance. The margaritas were good and I like the lunch price. For lunch I'll gladly go back and try something else. After seeing how much lunch is and the dinner prices, I'll only dine here for lunch. There were staff running around and always asking if we needed something.

Burrito a la Diabla...sooo good.

The Burrito a la Diabla was one of the best meals I've ever had. The salsa is also amazing. My daughter enjoyed her taco salad and the service was outstanding. Definitely my New Mexican go to when I'm on this side of town.

McAlister's Deli

McAlister's Deli

This was my first visit to McAlister's in Middleburg Hts. I assumed it was a sit down restaurant…read morewith Servers but it is not. You order food at the counter, online or at the drive thru and they do have indoor seating. The menu consisted of soup, salad, deli sandwiches and spuds (baked potatoes). They offer a "choose 2" option, which is 1/2 soup, salad, sandwich or spud + another half for $10.99. There is an up charge for Premium options that are marked with a red "P". My total was $12.19 including tip for the Choose 2. I tried the 1/2 spud with chili and cheese and 1/2 grilled chicken club sandwich. Food was fresh and came out quickly. Service was Excellent! Nice decor too with big screen TV's and clean restrooms.Highly recommend McAlister's!

For a chain, the Reuben was not bad, especially for the price ($12.99). The sizeable sandwich came…read morewith plenty of juicy corned beef plus Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and 1000 Island dressing. I did want the sauerkraut to have more tang, and I think the dressing got somewhat lost in the mix, but I still thought it was a tasty sandwich. The $12.99 price tag also came with a pickle and a small side of unremarkable but serviceable potato salad. I was pleased to see that the soda fountain came stocked with Diet Dr. Pepper. I'm accustomed to restaurants only offering diet Coke/Pepsi for zero-sugar soda options. For dessert, I got a slice of the Colossal Carrot Cake, which didn't quite live up to its name, though it was a sizeable slice. The cake was moist, and if you like carrot cake, you'll probably be happy with McAlister's. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

Rowley Inn - Bacon wrapped Tots with a spicy sauce that was delicious

Everything is on point with the Rowley Inn. From the time you walk in you feel part of a family…read morewith the staff. They are wonderful people. The food is hands down the best in Cleveland. We are foodies and go all over but this is hands down the #1. We will continue to be there on the weekly basis.

This place is a one stop shop for many Cleveland classics both original and vegan versions…read more My pre-trip research brought this place to my attention. I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.
