We visited at lunch time. We found the Food was good but portions were on the small side. The service was OK despite them being busy. My bill for 2 meals and NO drinks was $28 and change. We paid at the table with 2 $20 bills. We waited and waited and waited for our change, at this point we couldn't find a server to get our change. We had to leave because of time. And they got a undeserved big tip of over 40%. Side note, I wouldn't have written this but my daughter was just there a couple of days ago and found that on her $10.49 sent bill she left them a $2 tip. Came here on a whim - in town for work and thought Mexican sounded good. Pulled up Yelp and here we are and YUM!! Our waitress Natalia was FABULOUS and the food AMAZING!! Fresh, fast, filling and FINE! Chips and salads warm and fresh, shrimp Chile relleno was phenomenal as was the shrimp quesadilla my husband had. Lots of shrimp and great size. Menu doesn't strike me as authentic, given the mozzarella sticks and other American fried foods on the menu. Stick to what you're good at. Also, the server rubbing her hands in her hair while walking away from her table, only to sneeze in her hands, touch her hair again and not wash them is enough for me to not want to come back. Yum! We stopped by this restaurant today. It has been opened 2 months. The chips come out warm, the salsa is delicious. We laughed at the nice Wisconsin Touch of ranch dressing with the chips. And unfortunately, it was delicious as well. LOL! My husband ordered shrimp fajitas and the corn tortillas were warm and tasty. Even with the busy EAA crowd, they were friendly and served the meal in a timely manner. Thrilled that Oshkosh has such a delicious restaurant. read more

This is a great Mexican place to eat for lunch and dinner. There service is very fast and workers are very friendly. They also have complementary chips the moment you sit down I recommend them with the bean dip but even normal salsa with them. I love the Chicken Chimichanga for my meal but they have many other great options on the menu. All in all this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Oshkosh. read more

Cozumel is really the only decent option for Mexican food in Oshkosh. However consistently I have had greasy food there. The service is fine, but the language barrier can be a bit annoying. read more

I'm reluctant to write about my enthusiasm for Cozumel's Camarones al Mojo de Ajo for a very shellfish reason: I want these large and tender shrimp all for myself. Get anything else you want, diner, but please...when I come in, all the shrimps belong to me, hear? Oh, and the enjoyment of the six-year-old's birthday celebration was augmented by some special fried ice cream and a proper Feliz cumpleaños serenade from Lauro and the rest of the staff. Enough good food, prompt and thoughtful service, happy kid, and it didn't break the bank. We'll be back, with friends, so leave them shrimp alone. They're mine. This place is a pretty non-offensive Mexican joint. Not really great, but not terrible.

Stopped in for lunch and both my wife and I ordered one of the lunch specials, which both were great and plentiful. The prices were great and service was excellent. The menu had a lot of items to choose from with many unique items that you don't see in most Mexican Restaurants. Will definitely stop again and explore the menu further. read more

This is TexMex at a mediocre level. The chips were fresh crisp and a generous serving unfortunately the salad tasted like straight from the jar And the ranch dressing with some chipotle seasoning is NOT Mexican. The guacamole as indicated that was made onsite was bland without the subject flavors of onion lime cilantro and spice. The avocado seemed like the restaurant frozen product that ingredients are added to ...hence made onsite. I ordered a steak soft shell taco and a cheese enchilada. The steak was tough, dry and lacked proper seasoning.The enchilada was very dry and lack flavor. The enchilada sauce was caked on top . I spoke with the server and she said that's how they are and they don't do a mole sauce. ..thus my entree was deemed inedible. What a disappointment.. Been there 7 times to order off the lunch menu with my wife. Lunch menu is a good deal especially on Mondays and Tuesdays with the small margaritas at $0.99. Ordered a margarita at regular price on a Thursday lunch menu and was a little pricey at $5.99. Food is good, but I normally just order the steak burrito since this is always good.
