Menu item I ordered

The server didn't bring menus so when we requested menus she asked "food or drink?" We said both. She brought food menus and one drink menu (for a table of 10) and said this is the only drink menu I could find. My order was Pollo Lupita which is described as grilled chicken with rice and steamed vegetables. Everyone's food came out at different times, but all 9 other guests had their food for a full 5 minutes before I received mine. One guest was already finished eating when they brought me a plate of...beans, rice, and a pile of ham, onions and mushrooms. I told the server that wasn't what I ordered and she said there was chicken under there. I dug under the pile and indeed, there was chicken covered with a sauce. I said I was supposed to get steamed vegetables and she said those are vegetables. That was it, the end. My water was refilled once. I would never go back to this place. The ambiance is something between a dirty truck stop and how I would imagine an STD clinic. There are so many Mexican restaurants...avoid this one!

Best Mexican in the Shoals. It's easy to get in and out and food has always been good.

We have been visiting Cozumel since they opened and have never had a bad experience. Best Mexican food in the area by far!

I I visited Zaxby's today for lunch and ordered wings with extra lemon pepper seasoning. When I…read morereceived my order, I noticed there was very little lemon pepper on the wings. I informed the staff and requested additional seasoning, as I had asked for extra when placing my order. I was told there would be an additional charge of $0.25. I explained that I had already requested extra seasoning at the time of ordering and asked if the wings could simply be corrected. The wings were taken back and returned to me, but there was no noticeable difference in the amount of seasoning added. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with either the service or the quality of the food I received. I expect orders to be prepared as requested, especially when the request is made at the time of purchase

Today my group of friends and I were ordering and the girls in the backseat were gonna order out the back window. We had accidentally pulled up w little far but did not know they could not hear us. She told them what she wanted and we did not get any response for like 5 minutes and then was told they couldn't hear us because we pulled up too far which was fine. However, when we got to the window and red headed girl named Alexis poked her head out the window and said with a very rude tone "when you pull up past the board we can't hear you". The attitude was unnecessary especially when we had already been told they couldn't hear us and just was a little louder and they could hear us perfectly fine.

On a road trip across Alabama, we stumbled across this old-school burger place in Russellville and…read morestopped for a late lunch. Now, the interior has seen some things, okay? One of the booths has been mangled to oblivion and is unusable. The place was understaffed for the volume and pace of business it had on a Friday, so tables weren't being bussed like they should. But I'm perfectly capable of getting napkins and wiping down condensation from the last guy's Coke, you know? Customers were politely throwing away their own trash, so that was not a problem, IMHO. We ordered indoors (you also have a walk-up outdoor counter option), my husband getting the foot-long chili dog (more on that to come), while my son and I both got a single-patty cheeseburger (his with fries, mine with onion rings). All three of us had enormous fountain drinks (Pepsi products) over crushed ice. The burger patties were what we used to call "slugburgers," preformed patties (Sonic sized, not Krystal or White Castle sized) with light condiments (thank you for not drowning the burgers in mayo, etc.) with chopped onions...Vidalias, if my taste buds were not hallucinating. They were well seasoned, too, with melty American cheese. Noms! The buns were fresh, too, which is always a plus. Boy and I gobbled them down quickly. As for the onion rings, I'm a huge sucker for handmade, and these were just awesome. The batter was light (maybe a beer batter?) and crispy, and the onions were mild. I could have probably made a meal of them alone. Now, my husband is a big Coney fan. So, he was a little disappointed in his hot dog. It didn't taste bad; it just wasn't what he believed it would be. While the bun was a foot-long bun, the dog was actually one and a half normal dogs. Petty? Maybe. But here we are. A bigger disappointment was the "chili." Remember the sloppy joes we got in school? (Sloppy Joe Day was like a holiday when I was a kid.) That meat sauce is what covered the dogs...with cheese sauce like you get on ballpark nachos covering the top. He ate it, but said he's getting the burger next time. His onion rings, however, were fabulous, so all's well. The soft serve was delicious. So, definitely stop for lunch, but if you're feeling snobby...go elsewhere.
