While the meal itself was fine, the checkout process left a much worse taste in my mouth than the food did. The Tipping Dilemma The pre-set tip suggestions on the payment tablet were 20%, 25%, and 30%. Frankly, seeing these as the "standard" options is absolutely ludicrous. For a long time, 10%, 15%, and 20% were the normal benchmarks for service. Pushing a 20% minimum for a "decent" meal is a massive overreach. I enjoyed the meal for what it was, but I can't support a business model that tries to normalize 30% tips. We need to get back to a reality where tipping is a voluntary reward for great service, not an aggressive tax on the consumer to cover lack of pay by restaurant owners.

My husband had the pulled pork which was great and we both loved the bbq sauce! The ambiance is super cool and rustic! Great country music that you know every word to! I was surprised that there were only 2 other tables there. They weren't busy at all! I was disappointed that the brewery and distillery wasn't open yet, that's one of the reasons we went. The service was excellent. Our waitress Mallory treated us like old friends and helped advise us on our choices. Great hometown hospitality! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and special and took great care of us! We will definitely be back and can't wait to visit the distillery!

We have always enjoyed Hangry joes. Our favorite part is the sandwich of course. It's huge and they…read morehave a ton of flavors to choose from. But not tonight. We both got chicken sandwiches that were average size of a cfa sandwich. We've eaten here a dozen times in the past and the chicken in the sandwich was so massive you couldn't eat it all in one sitting. This was very disappointing neither of us had eaten today, our appetites were raging. It's not a bad sandwich. BUT for the price we pay, over cfa, we expect to get a more interesting, and a much larger sandwich. If yall have intentionally lowered the minimum size spec for a filet to be used on a sandwich, I strongly recommend reversing that decision because the oversized sandwich was a huge selling point. Aside from the smaller sandwich, all was well. The food was delicious, the girl behind the counter that took my order was patient and very thorough and professional, the restaurant was clean, there was a wait, there's always a wait, but we don't mind waiting for fresh food.
