We revisited Cows ice cream in Whistler. This ice cream shop offer many kinds of ice cream and a lot of their original merchandise. I actually enjoyed shopping their original merchandise. This time, I got Cow's ice cream and One peace collabolation T shits. It looked very cute. They offer key chain, mug cups, T shirt, bag, other clothing items, and more. They also offer their original chocolate, chocolate coated chips, cheese, hot chocolate and more. I got two different chocolate bar Waffle Cone - Milk chocolate filled with pieces of waffle cone. - I really liked crunchy pieces of waffle cone combined with milk chocolate, Very delicious chocolate bar. Messie Bessie - Milk chocolate with oreo chunks and crumbled moo crunch. - Another unique item. I really liked this crunchy texture of moo crunch and oreo chunks in chocolate bar. Very good chocolate bar as well. Chocolate cheese cake ice cream - it was solid , cheese cake flavor was a bit weak, however, it was delicious ice cream. My favorite was Moo Crunch - Chocolate ice cream with peanut buttercup and moo crunch, and Wowie Cowie - Vanilla ice cream English toffee marble, chocolate flakes and moo crunch. I did not have them this time. They were very unique flavor you can only taste in Cow's ice cream! read more

Cows ice-cream was advertised to us as a MUST try while in Whistler. One of their slogans even being "the best ice-cream in Canada". While I do think this is a bit of an overstatement the ice-cream wasn't bad at all just average, the only thing that sets this place aside from any old ice-cream shop was the creative flavor names and the giftshop. It unfortunately loses two points for the size of the scoops and the quality of the ice-cream. It just didn't stand out to me and the ice-cream was hard, as in close to freezer burnt hard. $9 for a double scoop, the cup should have been fuller, or just get smaller cups so it looks full if you don't want to give bigger scoops lol (mostly kidding on that note). Service was good and fast. Props to them as I'm sure they deal with a very high volume of customers everyday. I got the Wowie Cowie and the Moo York Cheesecake. Wowie Cowie: tasted very similar to a sea salt caramel ice-cream good if you enjoy that. Moo York Cheesecake: tasted exactly like a New York cheesecake ice-cream go figure. I wish there were actual chucks of cheesecake rather then just the cheesecake flavor though. I would lean more towards this being a tourist trap. Although we didn't try another ice-cream shop on our trip, there was a few more of them in the village without a big line that probably would've been more worthwhile. read more

This place was already pretty full before dinner, but the line was way out the door and wrapping around after dinner! You can find this place by looking for the big cow outside the front entrance. COWS is a local ice cream shop using PEI milk, and they've been making ice cream for over 40 years. Since we had kids, we were stuck with chocolate ice cream, but it was a great texture, not too sweet. 2 scoops is only $2 more than 1 scoop, so you have to get a double! The waffle cones are also made in house. You can get pints to go (freezer bags available), and the store also has lots of cows merchandise, which is fun! read more

One of the best ice cream shops I've tried! I got to sample a few of their flavours before deciding and ended up going with PEI blueberry, which was packed with fruit. I really enjoyed their other PEI flavours too so it was a difficult decision! The store also doubles as a souvenir shop, with tons of Cows merch and punny tshirts (I ended up getting a few as souvenirs). The staff were also very friendly and helped us pick between flavours. Will be back during my next Whistler trip! read more

Finally got a chance to try this place and see what it was all about. Other than the morning, there is a crazy lineup here all day until closing time. Parking here is horrendous. The place is actually 80% gift store and 20% ice cream shop. The vibe is pretty rushed, as basically it's an ice cream assembly line. The big one is to have a flavour picked out beforehand. There are some signs outside showing their top flavours, which helps a lot. Plenty of time to decide too while lining up. Pricing is surprisingly reasonable. I can see why there are hordes here. I would come back multiple times, just to try more flavours. Good product, good price. Recommended. read more

They have a wide variety of flavors and different cones, too. I got chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in a sprinkle cone and it was good. Lots of "punny" merch and cow-themed everything. Stopped by for some late night ice cream, and I'm glad we did! The store is very cute with lots of different merch from stuffed animals to pop-culture themed apparel to other "Cows" themed gifts. There were lots of ice cream flavors to choose from and I ordered the Namanio bar flavor which was a tasty sweet treat. My go to spot in town. Love cows, great employees who offer friendly service. Pretty much unlimited tastings. Absolutely love the apple pie and the peanut butter with cups. Great ice cream with the option to make it a milkshake. I had the "Cownadian Maple" in milkshake form. It was fantastic with lots of maple cookie chunks. COWS was a great way to close out the night. Staff were all polite, and I had no trouble with the ordering process. The ice creamery also has a gift shop attached with hilarious parody shirts and sweatshirts that play on famous brands and cow themes. They're designed well. It's right at the Olympic Plaza, and I'd highly recommend stopping by after dinner! read more

One of the primary ice cream spots in the area, the spot was basically continuously busy whenever they were open, including into the late evening. We went there a couple of times over three days day, and were never disappointed! The folks working here we're all very pleasant and did a great job taking care of a lot of people in a very short amount of time. They have an impressive number of different flavors, many of which play off of the cow theme, which should make you smile! The prices were as you'd expect for a specialty ice cream shop in a ski village, but honestly, it was worth it every time. Our kids also had a lovely time in the gift shop where they had many a cow themed item. There were so many variations on a theme, that it reminded me of a big dog shirt shop from the 90s You will see this place if you are in Whistler Village, and it's worth going to every time you see it. read more

We passed by this ice cream shop one day and saw a huge line, so we decided to come back after dinner the next evening to try it out. There was still a massive line. It was around 8 PM on a Saturday. But don't be deterred - the line actually moves pretty quickly. Just make sure you decide what flavor you're getting before you get inside because once inside, it's very stressful/hectic and it moves very fast. I had a scoop of the Birthday Cake (cake batter base, blue frosting swirl, and sprinkles), and a scoop of the Wowie Cowie (vanilla ice cream, English toffee marble, chocolate flakes, and Moo Crunch). I liked the Birthday Cake but the Wowie Cowie was too sweet for me. Hubby had the Moo York Cheesecake (cheesecake ice cream, Oreo cookie, and chocolate swirl) in a cone. Also too sweet for me, and the cone, while it smelled very good in stores, was way too crunchy. It's also very messy to eat and impossible to eat without them giving you a cup to put it in. They also sell other dairy items, like butter and cheese. If I was a local, I totally would have bought some to bring home. That would be more my speed over most of the flavors they have. Not a lot of the flavors appealed to me and most sounded ridiculously sweet. So if you're looking for something simple, Cows is probably not it. But if you have a sweet tooth and are into trying new flavors, you would probably like Cows. read more

We came here almost every day that we were at Whistler. The line was always out the door, but at certain times was shorter than others. It wraps around to the right so it doesn't clog up the main village walkway. There is a QR code while you wait so can access the menu and see all the flavors. Once inside, you can see the guy making the waffle cones by hand. The prices comes standard with a waffle cone, no extra charge! They have such amazing flavors, but my favorite was the Royal Cownadian Mint. The infusion of mint in chocolate ice cream was unique and wafer pieces gave it great texture. I also tried the Peanut Butter Cup Cup and the Messie Bessie, which was great with the toffee. Their gift shop also had tons of punny shirts which were great to read while waiting in line. read more

I like the freshness of the ice cream. It's a bit too sweet for me, but the peanut help provides a good contrast balancing the sweetness with some subtle savory crunch. The staffs are nice and accommodating. I got to try other ice creams before deciding to go with the strawberry. There is usually a line though. read more

We waited about 15 mins in line to get our ice cream. They are said to have Canada's best ice cream. They were pretty good. But I am not sure if they are really the best. They have lots of flavours available. I got the Cownadian Maple and Wowie Cowie on a waffle cone dipped in peanuts. B got the Cowamoo Apple on a chocolate waffle cone. The cone was a bit thick. It was crispy. When we walked into the ice cream place, we could smell the strong waffle smell. I am not a fan of the cone. The ice cream was very flavourful. It melted almost right away when we left the ice cream parlour. It got pretty messy. They do use quality ingredients. The last time I came up to Whistler and had their ice cream was about 7 years ago. I would definitely go back if I get a chance. Again I don't always come to Whistler in the summer time. read more

Really really good ice cream with some very rare ice cream flavors. We ALWAYS STOP BY Cows Ice Cream when in Whistler--and have NEVER been disappointed. Somehow the staff has gotten way more friendly which makes this place seem magical. My fave has been the PEI Blueberry which has a really fresh blueberry flavor with whole frozen blueberries that is not too sweet. This is a rare ice cream because the blueberries come from Prince Edward Island (PEI). Also really tasty was the Maple Walnut flavor--a very tasty Canadian unique treat. read more

First time at cows (aka finally not discouraged by a long queue in the cold) and it was such a satisfying / classic ice cream run. I've been less of a fan of soft soft / melt-y scoops for sometime now, and cows old fashioned (chewy ish) ice cream scoops hit the spot. Both flavours of my cow-conut cream + PEI blueberry came out nicely, the waffle cone was harder to bite than I expected. A fresh cone would make this a hands down 5 star. read more
