Garland and Mary Jane talked me through options on the menu that could be made gluten free and told me that my food would be a little bit slower coming out because the chef would need to clean an area and take extra precautions to keep my food separate. It was comforting to have them explaining it to me instead of me having to explain it to them. Every morning I had the Breakfast Power Bowl with a side of fresh fruit (which was brought straight from the kitchen and did not risk cross contact as the buffet fruit would have). I look forward to coming back to Calgary and eating here again.

If you know your neighbours, you may run in to some of them here. I do recommend their pizza though. If you like a thick crust, tons of toppings, and lots of cheese, you are in for a treat. I usually get the Hawaiian or I get them to custom make me a bbq chicken (not on the menu). Their other menu items I find are generally lacking, and unfortunately they charge chain pub prices. When you are a neighbourhood pub, you can't get away with serving mediocre food at preimum prices. The pizza makes the place a-ok, but otherwise, I've had better.

As we proceeded to the bar, bartender was on the phone. She noticed us, I smiled, she sneered, so instead of hanging up and serving us, she proceeded to talk on the phone, which seemed to be a very heated discussion. After her lengthy discussion, without a 'hi,' or 'sorry,' she finally asked what we'd like, we ordered and she angrily made our drinks. If it wasn't for the fact that we ordered a pizza two doors down, we would have walked out. So we quickly paid for our drinks and left. This place is a waste of space, I would of got better service at the laundromat next door. Yelp needs a minus star option.
