Highly recommended! One of the most down to earth honest guys in the industry I have met so far…read more Billy came out with his crew who are also hardworking guys and did a video scope of my air duct. He showed me I had dust accumulation and recommended to go with the cleaning treatment. The initial visit was free. He just wanted to show the customer what their current state is and if I didn't need it done he would had recommended so. I had 22 ducts including the 2 returns cleaned and sanitized (free of charge) in 2 hours for 399.00 plus tax which was 430$. They did an awesome job, Billy is a very down to earth honest guy. He explained to me every detail of what they were doing, how it's done and what the machines are used for. He even showed me the bag full of dust which was cleaned out. Highly highly recommended. Good luck Billy and nice to meet you!

Ricky from ACT came to our home and performed a very eye-opening home energy audit. We were astounded at how many leaks we had and found out why our AC ran for 19 hours one August day. We had ACT out to totally redo our ducts and install radiant barrier. I could not be more pleased with the work that was done and we are already more comfortable in our home. Quote was reasonable and the work was done to perfection.

We…read morehad 3 different roofing companies out to give us an idea on how to improve things but they were all stumped and couldn't offer a solution. Then we got our first electric bill and it was outrageous. I started Googling because K knew there had to be someone who could help us. I luckily stumbled across ACT and gave them a call. Ricky came out the next week and did an energy audit of our home. It was so extremely detailed and thorough - quite impressive. I immediately had faith in our issues being identified. Of course, we had a number of problems, but all could be resolved - hallelujah!! Ricky and his crew came back the following week and spent 2 days fixing all the issues. Broken ducts, soffit vents that were clogged, over a gallon of caulk to seal up various leaks in the attic, as well as the installation of solar vents on the roof. I can't pretend to understand how their scoring is done, but we went from a score of 285 down to 118. New build homes are required to be at least at an 80. While it was a chunk of money, I can already see the results and know the return on investment will be swift. So so glad I stumbled upon this company!!

Chances are if you live in an older home not built up to today's building codes, and even if you…read moredo, the insulation & ventilation in your attic may not be up to par with the current standards. My home was built in the late '70s, and the previous homeowners did nothing to rid the home of its original rockwhool insulation. The minuscule 6-8" of insulation that was once in my attic was ridden with rodent feces/urine, turning to dust, and wasn't as effective as it once was. This not only caused my home to have imbalanced heating/cooling, but also strained my HVAC system, making it work significantly harder than it otherwise would. Combine the lack of insulation with improper ventilation, and you set yourself up for a home that's not comfortable to live in, while in the process of taking precious dollars away from your pocket, all due to increased electric/gas bills. I called Energy Attic back in 2019 to see what they had to say about my attic, and they came out to do an energy audit. They filled me in on everything that was wrong, and what I could do to fix it. The estimate they provided was very insightful, breaking down the cost of every service, and allowing you as a homeowner to do what's best for your house and pocketbook. At the time I was unable to afford the job, so I decided to hold off on the project. Fast forward to early 2022, I gave them yet another call, and due to a mishap in getting the square footage of my home incorrect (was overestimated due to some vaulted ceilings), we decided to have them come back out to my house to give things a look. I spoke with their sales representative Mike for a decent amount of time, making sure I understood what was best. Mike's insight was incredibly valuable, and I ended up going with a whole host of things to improve my attic space: - Removing all old insulation - Sealing any air gaps - Spraying in fiberglass insulation to R49 (16") - Installing a radiant barrier - Upgrading existing fan with a solar fan Energy Attic ended up scheduling the job for the next week, and three of their employees ended up working for nine hours, knocking everything out of the park the same day. I've had a lot of contractors & such work on my home, and these gentlemen treated my home with dignity, cleaning up after themselves, and ensuring the job is done perfectly. Almost immediately I was able to notice the consistency in temperature throughout the home, and not just that, but also my HVAC system kicking on less. I'm stoked that the days of dealing with certain rooms being colder/hotter than others are gone, and my attic space can properly reflect any heat thrown at it away with the radiant barrier, and push any heat out that did get in with the solar fan, regardless of wind conditions outside. While a job like this is costly, making your home comfortable to live in year-round is very much worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Energy Attic for any of your attic or HVAC needs. I'm pleased with what they have done, and I can't lie, my attic space sure does look better than ever!

I know for a fact that I asked if the quote and payment we gave for attic insulation, included over the garage. I was told yes, and I know I asked at least three times, and was told yes. The two other people in the home, heard it as well. The over the garage was not insulated. Now I understand, that I should have checked before I left the other review. That's on me. I shouldn't have taken anyone else's word, and I should have gotten the ladder and looked. When I texted the man who came here, I was told yes "no, it only includes over living space". The insulation over the living space is nicely done. I am very pleased with that. Just very irritated that, what I was told was going to happen, and included, turns out it's not.
