    Holiday pancakes snowman!

Service was so nice, quick friendly! The cool came over & kindly asked my young girls if they like a holiday pancake!! WOW! It was the coolest & so yummy. Coffee is great, the cheese steak wrap has SPICY jalapeños & the country fried steak is really a hit! Will be back for sure

    Corn beef hash

Delivered a tasty breakfast with pleasant service. My husband particularly enjoyed their take on corn beef hash. Our fist stop, they had a steady stream of regulars.

Birthday pancake for a regular. Isn't that awesome?

What a neat little place. No it's not 4 star dining, but it's not meant to be. This little diner, tucked along alternate 19 is a sleeper, a place where you go because you've been going for 25 years. Where the regulars are known and the waitstaff automatically bring their drinks to the table. Where when it's their birthday, the chef makes special pancakes for them! The food was simple, but good! I had a bacon/egg/cheese wrap, which was far larger than I expected. The husband had a double bacon cheese burger with fries. Also far larger than we expected. No, not fresh ground beef, probably those patties that they get from SYSCO, but still tasty. The staff was very friendly, very attentive. We weren't even sure they were open today, but they were, until 2pm. Since we arrived at 1:15, they were more than accommodating to us. Our cups never went empty and the food came out -very- quickly. It certainly was fresh and delicious. I know that I'll come back and try them for another meal.

    All of this for $5.75!

This restaurant has the best deal on breakfast in Pinellas County. I come here for the 3 eggs, 2 pancakes, and bacon or sausage for $5.75. The restaurant itself is old and dated, but it's like taking a time machine back to the 70's and 80's. The stereo plays soft rock and if you didn't know it, you would think that it was playing the "Guardians of the Galaxy" soundtrack. The walls are dark grain wood paneling covered in pictures of old school bridges. The coffee mugs don't match and the furniture is old, but it adds to the throw-back charm to the place. Your grandparents would feel very comfortable here. The price is right, breakfast is great, and staff is super friendly. Give it a try!

Every visit is super enjoyable. The normal patrons are the more mature retired types with the occasional younger crowd. Today it was packed with families and was almost where tables were a premium. Regardless, customer service is too notch and the smile from our normal waitress was ear to ear. I love authenticity. The food is always awesome and it won't hit your wallet hard. Make this place your regular spot of you are a local.

I've passed by this place for 20 years, never going in. I sure regret that! We finally stopped in for breakfast & it was delicious! I had scrambled eggs with corned beef hash, my daughter has Strawberry Waffles. The food was so good, service was friendly, & the coffee was hot. We will go back for sure!

This is a great spot... Just minutes from the beach. Terrific food, friendly service, very reasonable prices. Can't beat it! A great homespun spot! We had the early bird breakfast specials - served until 11. Two eggs cooked to order, sausage, great, toast - yum!

    Pineapple & coconut French toast.

This place has amazing breakfasts! You can add fruit or chocolate, coconut, etc to your pancakes or French toast. I recommend the pineapple & coconut French toast. The homemade cinnamon rolls are amazing! We always order 1 to share later in the day. The pancakes are HUGE! We once ordered 2 and they came in separate boxes! so much fruit in them. They even offer different sizes of ham slices. The only thing I did not care for here was a patty melt. It lacked flavor. I am writing that off as me ordering it at breakfast time. I'm sure it would be better if I ordered it at lunch. this place is tiny but, well worth the visit. I drove by for years and never tried it. Our daughter discovered it with friends when she was in high school. We happened to see it on DoorDash one day & decided to try. It took one order for us to be hooked. Now, we order nearly every single weekend. They do offer their full menu all day long. That's great for a lot of people that don't necessary want pancakes for breakfast. It's ok, they'll make you a burger or sandwich. You won't be sorry if you give them a shot.

This place is absolutely adorable…read more I think this street is the perfect place to hit up a couple restaurants for a progressive dinner. A lot of the restaurants are closed for lunch though, which is how we ended up here. It's a lot larger than it looks. There's a really cute covered outdoors area in the back with a stage for performances. There were only a few diners there for lunch on a Friday so it was easy to grab a spot. I got a skinny strawberry margarita, it made me happy to see a skinny version of a flavored margarita on the menu. It has a sugar rim and was delicious. It's on the sweet side and I'd definitely get it again. I requested it without soda water. For my main I got the salmon bowl. I wouldn't get this again, but it's because the base is mainly fried wontons. I thought it would be a scattering of fried wontons but nope, it was a hefty portion. I didn't eat most of the fried wontons because I'm trying to be healthy. It's a delicious dish, just not for me. Service was great, but we were an easy table because we were chatting the entire time. I enjoyed our meal here, so we will definitely be back!

BE CAREFUL NOT DOUBLE TIP! 20% Automatically for Crappy service!…read more This place used to be great but has fallen off the map. They have cut some many corner then what it used to be. The buffalo chicken sandwich barely comes with any sauce and the blu cheese dressing is mayonnaise with some blu cheese in it. The waiters and staff are less than par because they have put an automatic 20% tip so why work hard. Waited 30 minutes to order, took 28 minutes to get food and 25 minutes for a check with no one to check on us and the food. They spend most of the time on their phones. CINDA should not be running this place. She has no management skills as she screens across the bar to the sushi chef like a dried out scagg!

Had a great time dining at The Restorative in Dunedin. This is such a perfect date night spot…read more Everything we ordered was amazing and you can really tell how much care goes into each dish. We even got to meet the owner who is also the chef. Super cool guy and very welcoming which made the experience feel extra special. We sat at the bar seating where you can watch the kitchen in action and it made the night even more fun. It kind of gave me Rooster & the Till vibes with the open kitchen energy and intimate setup. They serve wine and beer only which honestly fits the cozy and thoughtfully curated feel of the place really well. Great food great atmosphere and a unique dining experience overall. I would absolutely come back again and highly recommend it if you are looking for something a little different in Dunedin. What I ordered: - house made naan bread - chicken veloute, potato tortellini, carmalized onions, egg yolk (gives only 1 tortellini. Wish they added more) - ricotta gnocchi, brown butter, sage, prosciutto - beef short rib, mushroom and onion tart, parsnip, black garlic (really good!! must order!!)

I've come here twice. It's located in a not-so-great strip mall…read more It has a very small menu and I feel like everything is pre-cooked or maybe par-cooked and they just finish it at the restaurant (no big kitchen). When I sat at the bar I saw them pulling the food out of plastic containers in the fridge and warming it back up. The portions are small and the prices high, so come knowing that. That said, the food has always tasted good. The service was okay. My biggest issue, I tried to come eat here with my pre-teen kids once after a sports game they played and was asked multiple times if I was sure this was the place I wanted to come. Did they think I can't afford it? Did they not want my kids in the restaurant? And on that note, the food is not kid-friendly really.

Perfect Birthday Night at The Black Pearl…read more My husband took me to The Black Pearl for my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt special--elegant but comfortable, the kind of place that makes you feel like you're celebrating something important (because we were!). The service was outstanding--attentive without being overbearing--and the staff truly made the evening feel memorable. Our meals were phenomenal, beautifully prepared, and worth every bite. It was one of those dinners where you're already planning what you want to order next time before you've even finished your plate. Between the incredible food, wonderful service, and getting to spend the evening with my favorite person, it was exactly how I wanted to celebrate my birthday. The Black Pearl helped turn a special night into a truly unforgettable one. Highly recommend for celebrations, date nights, or anytime you want an exceptional dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Came in for anniversary dinner and had a terrific experience at The Black Pearl. Restaurant itself…read moreis very small and intimate but not cramped. We were seated and taken care of by a fantastic waiter. We opted for wine and sparkling by the glass and the sommelier was able to provide some good recommendations and even provided some insight on the region of the wines. Waiter explained the menu which was à la carte but included bread, their Black Pearl Salad , and a palate cleanser before the main entree. The food was prepared and spaced out perfectly so you did not feel rushed or waiting at any point during the experience. From start to finish, it ended up being around 1 hour and 45 minutes which is a good range for a fine dining experience for 2. Our food order as followed: Hors d'oeuvres - Pork belly rillettes Bread (included) - Potato bread with garlic herb olive oil Starter - Pate of Foie Gras Salad (included) - Black Pearl Salad Entremet (included) - Watermelon Jalapeño popsicle Entrees - White truffle lobster risotto , Hereford filet mignon Dessert - Tarte Tatin with side of vanilla ice cream Everything was absolutely amazing and the execution and technique was perfect. If I did have a complaint (if you can call it that) was the choice of using a watermelon and jalapeño popsicle as a palate cleanser. The taste was amazing but it may be too aggressive in flavor prior to an entree. Putting my fake chefs hat on, I would have gone with a similar concept but using watermelon and maybe a yuzu citrus for a palate cleanser. Amazing experience, amazing food and presentation, amazing staff. 5/5. If you are in the Tampa Bay Area and you are looking for a true fine dining experience, check out The Black Pearl.
