I can't speak to the other reviewer's experience as I've never provided services to the Cove Community Center, but I have attended both a public (political debate) and private (birthday party) event in this center, so my review will speak to the venue instead of its management. I appreciate that this building offers a "third space" in a local neighborhood. It is easy to access from downtown Beverly and there is plenty of parking for the size of the facility. It has finally been renovated to offer access to people with disabilities (there is a ramp now) and the interior is functional and has some charm. Rental rates are posted on the website, and might be a little high compared to a church basement or something, but since this is a more neutral, open space, I guess that's fair. With no paid, daily staff, booking the site may be a little harder than using a restaurant or hotel ballroom, but rates are also cheaper than those catered places. There is a stage and a commercial kitchen and the site offers tables and chairs for use when you rent it. I don't know of many buildings like this available in most neighborhoods, so I'm glad the Cove Community Center exists in Beverly. read more
