I've recommended this place to various people including those with very strict vego/vegan/gluten free diets and these guys are always SUPER accomodating and have gone out of their way on multiple occasions to put together a meal that suits the person's requirements. The central coast is slowly getting more and more great places like this - but put this one at the top of your list if you're up this way.

The food is good - standard cafe fare, all nice without being especially creative - and the coffee is definitely good, but then again I could have been drinking sewer water and it would have tasted like Perrier because I was so transfixed by the view. And if that view happened to have a topless woman somewhere within its bounds, well, that's hardly my fault now, is it?

I love and have enjoyed working with every employee (key word, employee) and previous bosses during this 2 year time period, and believe that each and every one of them aims to do best by the customers, the same way I have in the past. Although I am and have been for a while now, absolutely appalled by the way Kandyan enterprises has been treating and continues to treat their staff members, such as refusing to pay correct public holiday rates, unfair dismissal of myself and numerous others, blatantly putting no effort into even appearing to value the importance of their staff, in particular those who have continued to work since the change in hands and attempted to help maintain the cafes efficiency/previous high standard. Personally I will not continue to support this business although I do support it's staff members. Although I have had a highly negative relationship with my employers, I am glad I was given this opportunity to learn and gain knowledge about similar situations which may arise in my future and how I may handle it better.

The service was great and the menu has a nice range of fresh food items with a Hawaiian twist, along with an extensive range of poké bowls. I was also impressed with the waitresses customer service and ability to remember our order without writing anything down. I would definitely come back to Island Time the next time I am in the area!

The keto bread was very good. I don't have to be keto or vegetarian but it feels good when I am. My friend is a vegetarian with no other dietary requirements, and he loved the pie. He swears he will be back soon. The third thing we ordered was the gluten free vegan lasagne: I liked it and appreciate effort like this but it was not a delicious wow like everything else: fresh with good texture and look, but we doing it a bit sweet.
