    Ravioli with bacon

On a Wednesday lunch it was the only restaurant around this little area that was open and it was busy. There was a mothers' group complete with little babies, business people and randoms (like us). Parking was a problem but we found out after we sat down that the driveways on either side of the restaurant take you to their parking area. It is not sign posted and the parking at the front of the restaurant is for 1hr only. I did get the impression that it is probably not policed. Our first mistake was not making a snap decision on whether we wanted to eat inside or out. The inside seating is at a long table facing the counter and it was hot so we opted for outside with a roll of the waitress' eyes. Outside is on a concrete floor covered with an awning and see through plastic sides. This gave an excellent view of the B doubles and many other trucks whizzing by and allowed the horns of those vehicles to be clearly heard. It did drown out the conversations and babies crying. Our next mistake was not understanding the menu and then drawing attention to the fact by asking questions. We also mispronounced the names and had to be corrected. Both of us ordered the Raviolo (we correctly assumed that this was the plural of ravioli as we got two pieces). I did feel a little superior to my dining buddy as I ordered jamon instead of bacon which got the nod of approval from our waitress. We stuck to water and that also had us undone as we did not get a refill for our glasses or were left with a jug at the table. The Raviolo was nice and had interesting flavours. Both of us paid an extra $4.50; one for bacon and the other for jamon. As you can see from the photos two large ravioli with a slice of ham cost $24. Not convinced. At other tables there were burgers and the starting price on those was $18.50 but extra bacon was only $2.50. I mused as to whether I could ask for the hamburger bacon extra rather than the Raviolo bacon extra to save $2 but concluded that this waitress had no sense of humour. We still hadn't finished with our mistakes at this point and ordered coffee. Looking around, everyone seemed be having a coffee. I am not so sure why. It was OK but lukewarm and weak but I was thirsty....remember only one glass of water. Our experience was tainted by our waitress, however, eating so close to a main road with huge trucks speeding by honking their horns is just a recipe for disaster. The food whilst nice and interesting was just expensive.

Finally I found a quality breakfast in outer Sydney. After moving to the north west 10 years ago I really miss the inner city quality Cafes like Bills and the now defunct Rustic, for breakfast. Wolf and Co is my new go to cafe. My wife and I argue if it is as good as Bills but it's certainly close. From my experience it certainly would take second place in the Sydney breakfast scene. The wait staff are efficient with no sign of arrogance.

So glad a great brunchy cafe has opened in my area. Definitely a great place for a catchup and delicious dishes to come with it. Highlight for me was the summer fruits! Not only did it look absolutely gorgeous and vibrant, the taste was impeccable too. I'll be back for sure!

Tasty mushroom goodness with additional fennel sausage.

Sitting on a main road, with noisy trucks, flies and ants are a problem. Breakfast was expensive\, Service was slow.

What a find. You wouldn't pick it, I came here on a friends advice. From afar looks like a place…read morethat mums hang out at after dropping their kids at school or after a gym session in the park across the road. Inside it has the coolest decor, wood tables, white chairs, succulent plants and the themed 'Gem' around the place, beautiful candles and would fit right in with any trendy CbD cafes. They advertise Toby's estate from out front so that's encouraging. Waitresses and waitress are trendy and very efficient. I read through the breakfast options; banana bread, messy Jesse burger (bacon, egg, mushroom, hash brown), smashed Avi, brekie bowl, breakfast salad (spinach, strawberries, walnuts, Haloumi and avo), eggs your way, scrambled egg board with labne, waffles, eggs benedict and they also have lunch options; falafel stack, burgers, salads and salt and pepper squid. So much to choose from. It was still early so I had the brekky bowl, a huge bowl of yoghurt with homemade granola, seasonal fruits - today was strawberries and banana, with chia seeds, pistachios and honey. Prices are good, thus was $12 and everything ranges from $6 up to about $18. Really nice and Id love to come back for other stuff! They also had killer shakes; cookies and cream, strawberries and cream, salted caramel, banana split, vanilla bean. I got the vanilla bean which was a vanilla milkshake topped with cream, jelly beans, sprinkles and a freddo frog. Children would love this. Great cafe if you're in the area or Id certainly recommend the drive to find it.

I was really looking forward to having a nice cafe close to home and I stopped by here a few times…read moreto give it a chance but it is just consistently bad. The food is average and the coffee is always bitter. The milkshakes were the biggest disappointment- they are so thin it seems like there is no ice-cream in it and it literally just tasted like milk, not the vanilla flavour I ordered.
