Everything else I've had there has been just as appealing. I've recommended this place to various people including those with very strict vego/vegan/gluten free diets and these guys are always SUPER accomodating and have gone out of their way on multiple occasions to put together a meal that suits the person's requirements. The central coast is slowly getting more and more great places like this - but put this one at the top of your list if you're up this way.

(And as if you haven't wanted to at some point in your life.) The food is good - standard cafe fare, all nice without being especially creative - and the coffee is definitely good, but then again I could have been drinking sewer water and it would have tasted like Perrier because I was so transfixed by the view. And if that view happened to have a topless woman somewhere within its bounds, well, that's hardly my fault now, is it?

The waitress was friendly, we ordered drinks and we're off to a great start. Then along comes another waitress "Can i get you some drinks?" she asks. A bit of a double up, no worries! Minutes later, another waitress, "Have you ordered drinks yet?" OK so they're keen to work the tables. After drinks, the waitress relay gets underway again with the first, then second, then third asking us if we're ready to order our meal, within a 10min span. Since we weren't in any hurry we kindly replied each time 'Not just yet, while mentioning to the third that we've been asked the same question by 2 others already. Don't waiters get assigned a section of the restaurant/cafe to serve to? This gets quite annoying quite quickly. I ordered the grilled Bream which is served with Ratatouille, baby octopus and a rocket salad and another ordered the special Thai beef salad. Meals were served in a fair time but i was surprised to find my main course to be a little bigger than an entree especially at $23. The dish had good flavors, well presented but was too small a portion to be considered a main. The verdict on the Thai beef salad was that there was nothing Thai about it. Sliced beef on a standard looking green salad can be called Thai apparently! This is one of those cafes that expect you to order an entree, main and dessert to ensure that you feel you've had a sufficient sized lunch. For those who don't want to go through a 3 course lunch you may end up walking out with your stomach growling at you for not spending up. It was comical to watch the waiters running around helter skelter, aimlessly darting from table to table to kitchen and everywhere else. If there is a manager perhaps take a seat at a table over lunch and take note that your dancers need a choreographer.

The service was great and the menu has a nice range of fresh food items with a Hawaiian twist, along with an extensive range of poké bowls. We ordered the nachos chicken bowl and Hawaiian toastie to share, everything was fresh and full of flavour. I was also impressed with the waitresses customer service and ability to remember our order without writing anything down. I would definitely come back to Island Time the next time I am in the area!

She brought out bacon but once again it didn't look, smell or taste like bacon. We don't mind if a place doesn't have bacon or ham but please inform us. We checked the website and we didn't receive nothing like the photos shown on the site or anything saying it was alternative meats. The coffee was good thou.

The keto bread was very good. I don't have to be keto or vegetarian but it feels good when I am. My friend is a vegetarian with no other dietary requirements, and he loved the pie. He swears he will be back soon. The third thing we ordered was the gluten free vegan lasagne: I liked it and appreciate effort like this but it was not a delicious wow like everything else: fresh with good texture and look, but we doing it a bit sweet.
