She understood my hair like it was her life's calling. She even refreshed my highlights for my wedding, and I swear I floated down the aisle shimmering like a sunbeam. Then life whisked me away to Orange County for a bit. New city, new grocery stores, new salons. I tried other stylists -- nice ones, talented ones -- but something was always... off. The vibes weren't the same. My hair wasn't the same. So when I moved back to Redlands, I basically sprinted back to my comfort zone: Palazzo. Then Kendra moved away, I panicked for about five minutes before finding Emerald. And oh my gosh... Em is magic. I can bring her the vaguest Pinterest screenshot or a grainy selfie from 2016 and she'll just smile, nod, and whip my hair into exactly what I pictured. Every time I leave her chair, I walk out feeling fresher, lighter, somehow more me. She's also just the easiest human to talk to. Friendly, easy-going, the kind of person who makes the whole appointment feel like catching up with a friend who also happens to wield scissors like a goddess. The whole salon has that vibe. Warm. Pretty. Everyone smiling. And don't even get me started on their chai tea. The BEST chai that makes you want to sit there forever, pretending real life doesn't exist outside those doors.
