    Entering my review based on the restaurant at this Marriott. We had a long day and my husband wasn't feeling well so I went downstairs and ordered some food to take back to the room. The flatbread was overdone and tasted burnt, but I think it would have been good otherwise. The wings however were the best!! I asked for them to be well done and they were perfectly crispy, the sauce was tasty and it came with carrots and cucumber sticks. Nice presentation. Young man taking orders and serving was pleasant and attentive.

    Plenty of room to spread out on this comfortable couch with modern pillows and a side table for your laptop, drink, etc.

    The Courtyard by Marriott Largo-Capital Beltway, is in a convenient and easily accessible location. It is less than 10 miles from Washington, DC and 15 miles from the National Harbor. It is also near a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, including FedEx Field and the outlet mall. The rooms are new, clean, well decorated and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice and comfy. The staff was friendly and nice to talk to. Unfortunately, they were well understaffed in many areas of the hotel (most notably, the restaurant/bar area)and the current staffing model needs to be reassessed. Waited each morning for a simple cup of coffee. Employees were in the back, prepping for the day or making another customers breakfast, while the customers at the counter were being made to wait for a very long time, with a feeling of being ignored.

    Love this property!!!! I will be returning with my team. Spacious rooms and great staff! Very quiet. Can't wait to visit again. Plenty of parking. Use google maps to get you there.

    My first stay was pretty good and uneventful. My next almost stay was a totally different experience. I requested an early check in and arrived around 10am since there was a 1pm game. I received a msg saying my room was ready at 10:30am. I went to the front desk and she said that it was an automated msg and my room was not ready.I returned to my car and placed my bag back in the car. I went to the game and when i returned my car window was busted and my bag was gone. I realize I shouldn't have left my bag on the seat but their lot should be more secure. My car wasn't the only car hit. There were at least 8 cars that I know of. They let me cancel my reservation at no charge (Thanks) as I had decided to drive the 5hrs back to NC since I couldn't secure my car and the lot wasn't safe.

    The rooms were big and clean and the staff was very friendly. I like the hotel, but it's far from D.C. In fact, it,s the last stop on the blue line of the Metro in Largo. If you're primary reason for the visit is to go to the football stadium then this is a good place to visit.

My room was just old and had so many issues and I ended up having to literally get on my hands and knees to clean .. no exaggeration! From the couch which had dust mites to the bathroom and overall upkeep of the room I was super disappointed. I've worked at Marriott so I know the standard and I always stay at residence inns which are my fav hotels. The staff tried to accommodate me and switch rooms but the other room wasn't any better and I was already settled into my room and it was late when I returned from running errands. I always stay at this property several times before and other Residence Inns and this was by far the worst as far as cleanliness goes. Again stay was amazing and super helpful. I stayed 3 nights and received 20,000 points for this issue which doesn't even equate to a full nights stay at this property. Super disappointed and won't be returning here. The pictures explain it all! The only reason they are getting 3 starts is because of the wonderful staff!

Upon arrival, no staff was present at the front desk. When someone finally appeared, they failed to follow standard check-in procedures, including not requesting a credit card for incidentals, which is customary at Marriott properties. After three days, at the time of checkout, I was suddenly stopped by staff and treated as though I had done something wrong, despite the oversight being entirely on their end. I was then asked to place my card on hold for incidentals on the day of checkout, rather than at check-in. Weeks later, I discovered that $596.81 was charged to my card, even though the entire stay had already been paid for using Marriott points. This charge was not authorized as a room payment and was never clearly explained. As a result, I am now disputing the charge with my bank, and the process has taken weeks to resolve. While the physical stay itself was nice, the lack of professionalism, poor front desk management, and unresolved billing practices are unacceptable. Being treated like a criminal for an internal staff error, followed by an unexplained charge, has completely damaged my trust in this location. I strongly recommend that management review staff training, check-in protocols, and billing controls to prevent this from happening to future guests. This hotels charged me for the entire stay which is very disturbing to the highest extent. When I called the representative at the front said, "Nothing was taken out and I needed to call my bank." One star is way too generous.

The hotel is older and claimed to have renovated their rooms, so we were convinced this would be a good spot. Let's start with the pros: There is a bunch of parking our front. The staff was friendly. The restaurant in lobby was good, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Shoutout to the bartender David for his excellent service & kindness. The hotel is located across the street from Woodmore Towncenter, so you have gas stations, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Some room for improvement: The room we were initially given was absolutely horrendous. It looked nothing like the photos we saw when we booked the room. There were lady bugs, stink bugs, and I saw a spider in the room. The furniture was archaic & not what I expected. The TV was hanging off of the frame. I felt myself looking around the room fearful that a bug was going to suspend from the ceiling, fall on me and start crawling. After one night, my husband requested a new room, and thank goodness they gave us a freshly renovated room. The room was still a little dated, but it just felt clean and comfortable. I was able to enjoy my stay after the switch. For context, I posted photos of the new room they gave us. The elevator is extremely slow, so I hope they are working on fixing that. If we didnt have the mishap with the first room, (for the price) I would give our stay a 4/5.

Convenient to all of the stores, gas stations, restaurants etc. Everything was within driving distance from hotel. As soon as you walked in, the lobby was noticeably hot. The carpets had stain on them and it just felt muggy in there. After a long drive first thing everyone needs to do is use the restroom. Upon entering the bathroom I notice mold in the tub. The toilet seat was loose and shifting, hair on the sink and a huge stain on the wall. There were not anymore rooms available so we didn't have a choice at that point. We had just drove 8 hours and we were too exhausted. The pool was indoor but the water was a bit cloudy. There was also a big hole in the ground that a child can have a really bad accident if they stepped into it. Complimentary breakfast was the same everyday that we would just go for the coffee. Lady in charge of cooking the food would just sit and watch you get your breakfast. She would be in the same spot every morning just staring. It was kind of intimidating.

Around 1130pm I tried to reached out to the front desk but realized the phone was broken, no dial tone. No biggy....I called the front desk on my cell. Around 2am, my wife saw a roach crawling on the television. She called the front desk on her cell to report the issue. 230am.... My family and I ( me, my wife and two kids) were moved one floor up to rm.403. What did we see on the TV and mini fridge when we woke up in the am? You guessed it.....another f*%kin roach. This time he was was accompanied by his mother's big ass. We didn't bother going back to sleep. We packed up and commenced to leave. I waited for over 30 minutes to speak to manager Kristin Gilliam and received the runabout from service reps. If I don't hear back from the manager within a week, I will report them to BBB and reach out to a contact at CBS. I forgot to mention. My first red flag should've been when the front desk clerk mentioned that the hotel has been owned by 3 or 4 different owners. Also, this building can use some maintenance. Paint is cracking and fixtures can be repaired. There is a bar/club that shares this building. You would think they could syphon enough money from that business to maintain upkeep.

Bed was comfy but it's not on a boxspring. The mattress was literally placed on a wooden board so it kept slipping off even when it was only lightly brushed. It didn't hold up so well during "activities" with the guy I was with, if you know what I mean. ;) Other than that I had no complaints about the room. My only other problem was the breakfast. It was just awful. It located just past the lobby by the pool. There was a little shelf with bagels, bread and some muffins. A hot food container that held sausage links, knockoff eggo waffles and weird egg patties, three cereal options and some juice. The eggs, waffles and sausage were cold. Completely cold. Like it was all around a really shitty breakfast. Also, the lady tending the breakfast was watching me suspiciously. I'm not sure why but I didn't get good vibes from her at all. All in all, none of these problems were deal breakers but no, I would not be interested in coming in to this hotel again.
