One of the better three star hotels I've stayed at in a while! There is parking in a covered garage and this hotel is right in the heart of downtown, which is perfect for walking around and seeing what downtown LaGrange has to offer. It's also about a 10 minute drive to the great wolf lodge. There is not a breakfast buffet , but if you pay for. Breakfast add on with your room, you are able to get breakfast. I stayed two nights and got yogurt parfaits both days for $13, which was kind of wild. The room was clean and updated. The only other downside was the train that runs through the night, and cars racing. It was hard to get a good night sleep. Not the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind. One night my tv was glitching, but it ended up fixing itself. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. read more

This is the hotel we stay at every time we visit the city of LaGrange. The rooms are a great size for families, and typically very clean. Our last visit we had a minor cleaning issue, however, we were still comfortable. This location is right in the center of LaFayette Square, so shopping, dining, a park, and entertainment are all within 5 mins walking distance. Parking is FREE in a garage attached to the hotel. There is an on-site sports bar, and other amenities such as a pool, and gym. The staff is always helpful and pleasant, which is important to us as a family. We really enjoy visiting this hotel everything we come to LaGrange! read more

I rarely complain on Yelp. But thought you should know. This hotel has so much to offer, beautiful facility, friendly staff, right downtown, perfect parking deck next door, reasonable price, even putt putt golf. Rooms appeared clean with nice sofa too. Here's the short of it - 1st room - No hot water, 2nd room - completely clogged sink, 3rd room - adequate, but even the closet door scraped into floor and cannot be opened fully. A management thing? Perfect location for a LaGrange business trip. We really enjoyed our business trip at this hotel. Convenient to several stores and restaurants and walking distance to several restaurants. The parking is located in a deck behind the hotel, there are plenty of open spaces on all floors (although most people crowd the walk up level deck). There is a really cool fire pit outside that the staff can turn on upon request. The bar and seating inside are comfy and very communal. The rooms are spacious with plenty of room to get work done. Great staff, always onboard to help with anything you need. read more

Stayed here before and had to change rooms due to door not staying locked Second time trying this place and we regret it. Stayed here because it's conveniently close to my mothers salon Flew in from Chicago and Houston just to be disappointed. First room had PISS stains on the sheets and hair everywhere! It was terrible I let the host know and they moved us to another room where we had the same the same issue! Hair on the sheets everywhere like wth! The tissue in the bathroom Wasn't fresh but used and had wet finger prints on them and the toilet seat was up as if it had been just used. Disgusting! It's too late to book a three day stay anywhere in the area at midnight so I went ahead and asked for housekeeping to come change the sheets fresh in front of us. Don't think we should've paid full price for this mess. read more

Rooms were nice and I love the bathrooms. Modern upgraded rooms. Staff was great. Security of the building was good (don't leave your key because you won't get in). The hotel location is near downtown area which is walking distance to eateries and shops. There's a Starbucks in the hotel lobby which was good because I love Starbucks!!!! read more

I was very impressed with the hotel. The entire staff was very friendly. The place is clean, the rooms are nice, and they have many amenities. There is a gym, and office space, a private area for groups, a seating area with t.v.s, a laundry room, and a cute little bar. They have a small kitchen and a little convenience store for after hours snacks and drinks and toiletries. Oh, and the showers are awesome! I arrived on Valentine's Day and received a cute little heart bag with two yummy, frosted sugars cookies. Later that evening the lovely housekeeper gave me some roses. She was super sweet and also gave me a hug when I checked out. I also adored the bartender Elijah. Such a doll! He created a lovely specialty cocktail for Valentine's Day, and I enjoyed my conversation with him. The only downside is that the pillows were too firm for me. I prefer a soft pillow, but everyone has different preferences when it comes to pillows. I'm sure if I asked they would have gone out and got me a soft pillow. That's how great the staff here is! I really like this place - staff was very professional and nice and parking is very easy across the walkway in a multi level parking lot, which is nice because usually in the center of town you have to pay to park but this one's free. My wife and I stayed at the courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Lagrange, Georgia on August 12th, 2023. The hotel faces a square with a pretty fountain. Unfortunately when we arrived, the air conditioning in the lobby was not working. I stood at the front desk for 3 or 4 minutes with no response. I then walked back into the office to find a young man sitting at the computer. He came out to register me. He was helpful once he was on task. I ate a sandwich and a beer at the bar. The sandwich was fine, and the service was good, likely because I was the only customer and it was hot downstairs. Additional problems included the fact that the television didn't work. The guide was active but it was not possible to actually see any of the programs listed. Also, the toilet ran all night and would not flush the next morning, And the toilet seat was broken, sliding from side to side. Given that the room cost $161 plus all the taxes ($234.74) we definitely did not get decent value for our money. As far as I'm concerned, the hotel should compensate us some amount. Also, this is one of the few hotels that does not serve breakfast, the cost being included in the room. You can buy breakfast sandwich for more than $10, but we ate at a fast food restaurant the next morning instead. read more

For LaGrange, this is as good as it gets. If you want to stay in the center of LaGrange and walk to anything, this is your place. We booked in advance. On the day we arrived (Friday), it was cold and rainy. We stopped by shortly after lunch (around 1:15 p.m.) and asked about checking in early. They approved, so we were in our room by 1:40 p.m.! YMMV. The room itself was fairly spacious and comfortable. There was not much noise (LaGrange calms down a lot after 9 p.m.). We enjoyed the stay and walked to our dinner venue (less than 2 blocks away). The next morning, we had three options: 1) the hotel breakfast (order at the counter and eat in their dining area), 2) walk to some other breakfast place, or 3) drive somewhere nearby for breakfast. We opted for #1. It was not too expensive. We enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back. read more

I experienced some very lax COVID safety standards. It was rare that the front desk person was wearing a mask. Inside. I would see the employees socializing with customers at the bar while not wearing a mask. The employees should be modeling proper mask wearing. The mask needs to be over the nose and mouth. I visited LaGrange for my cousin's wedding last weekend. My entire family ended up booking an entire block of rooms for the weekend as many of us flew in specifically for the wedding. My mom called the hotel and booked the room directly with no problems. She opted for the state rate (she's a government employee) rather than the group rate that was offered to all of the wedding guests. The room cost about $95 a night. We arrived the day before the wedding and checked in easily. The hotel opened in 2017 so it's still fairly new and modern. The lobby is expansive and chic. There's ample seating, a snack bar, a bistro that serves Starbucks coffee and a bar that's opened until at least 1am. We spent two evenings in a sitting in the lobby playing games and drinking which was a lot of fun. There are electrical outlets strategically placed throughout the lobby too which is awesome for guests and private pods with 32 inch TVs where you can sit quietly or conduct business meetings. The hotel also features a putting green and an outdoor seating area complete with a fire pit but we didn't utilize those amenities. I shared the room with my mom and sister. Many of my family members were in rooms on the same floor. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Our room faced a lovely fountain that appeared to be streaming water 24/7. The beds were comfortable and there were three different kind of pillows to choose from. The towels were thin but that's typical of most hotel chains. We opted not to have our room cleaned but the maid did come by the room to see if we needed anything which was awesome. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff members were all pleasant and attentive which was fantastic. My mom actually paid for our room and my cousin's room who slept next door. My mom has the same last name as another cousin and the hotel inadvertently charged this third cousin's room to my mom's bill. They charged the price of the room and some incidentals as well. My mom called the front desk about it and was told that they couldn't correct it. She was referred to the general manager who took care of the error the very same day. LaGrange is a quaint little town typical of small town America. The hotel was within walking distance of a few restaurants, Wendy's CVS, etc. There's a parking garage adjacent to the hotel where guests can park for free. If I ever found myself in the area again I'd gladly choose to stay at this hotel again. read more

This place is absolutely disgusting. The sheets in the bedroom had blood or some kind of sauce stain on the sheets in two different spots. The chair in the room had chocolate smeared on the seat. The windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a good week. On top of that when we were leaving the building, we watched a small roach literally walk through the front door. I was told the manager was going to give me a call in regards to my concerns, but no one ever reached out. read more

Nice hotel for the price. We were in search of a clean, up to date hotel for a weekend trip to LaGrange and they delivered. They have made some service adjustments due to COVID but we're really accommodating. Plexiglass is installed at the check in desk and they provided sanitizer wipes with the room key. There are also wipes in the room to clean the remote. They will not clean your room for a multi-night stay and I had to request fresh towels. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay there again. read more

I did not have a pleasant experience during my stay. It started when the front desk failed to properly program my room key. I know that happens sometimes so it wasn't that big of a deal. However, the most disappointing part is once I got into the room I noticed a huge burn mark on the ottoman. I immediately let the front desk know about it assuming they would change it out. Came to this Marriot for an overnight stay and a 2-day board meeting. Staff was very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. Rooms was modern and quaint. Bed was very soft. TV was massive and AC kept the room frigid which is what I like. Overall, great experience. If I'm ever in this area again, they'll be my first choice. read more

As much as it hurts me to do so, this only warrants a 3 star. Here are my justifications: 1. Location: on the square. Beautiful view of the fountains. Great parking, beautiful remodeled building. Definitely an A on this one (5 stars) 2. Lobby is very nice, bar is nice, selection of wines is nice... A little light on the "store" for snacks, etc., but not a big deal for me (4 stars) 3. Personnel: seem very friendly - the standard "southern hospitality - 5 stars. But here are the rubs: 4. arrived and there was only 1/4 roll of toiletpaper left, and the shower was dirty - (yeck!!) and one of the bed sheets had a brown smear on it like it had not been cleaned!!! When we called, took more than an hour to get a couple extra rolls of toilet paper - this makes me nervous about housekeeping quality (like, especially the bed I am sleeping in!!) . 1 star 5. Came back to room and dirty dishes were left in the room! Again, housekeeping issue? And today, went to use the shower and the shampoo and found two conditioners, one body lotion, and no shampoo! Oy... very annoying because I always use marriott's shampoo, so don't bring any! 1 star. 6. no clean bags in the ice bucket. So had to go to ice maker with glasses / thermos to fill up... and, finally, the refrigerator needed defrosting so would not get more than just "sort of" cold. Overall, marriott almost always does better. Than this place. Housekeeping really does need some work. Though I really the chain generally, I think we will have to look for a different placed with better quality the next time we travel to Lagrange. And so should you! read more

I've attempted to stay long term this hotel but ended up staying a month at the Comfort Inn & Suites instead. I checked earlier today about staying at this Courtyard and the rate was $82/night. When I got home, ready to book, the hotel jumped to $126/night. Marriott has their big data bots geared to squeeze customers. This decades-long Marriott/Ritz guy is done. Back to Choice Hotels who don't play the "gotchya" games. read more

I am a heavy traveler over 50 nights in Marriott properties all over the world), both business and with family. This Courtyard was great; one of my favorite hotel experiences all year! The facilities (room, lobby, bistro area, gym, etc.) were clean, modern, inviting, and comfortable. But much better than the facilities was the friendliness of the staff. They gave this chain hotel the charm and welcoming/family vibe of a true Southern boutique hotel. Our housekeeper, Mickey, was the best of all. She was so kind and sweet to my kids and made our stay feel just that much more like home. Thank you Courtyard LaGrange for making Christmas away from home feel more like Christmas at home! read more
