If I could put negative stars I would! I had travled to Georgia to see my husband who is currently training at Fort Benning. My plan was to fly into Harts-field International, because it was cheaper then flying directly into Columbus. The 100 mile difference between Atlanta and Columbus was going to cost me $78 with another service so, determined to save a buck, I continued my search and came across this pathetic excuse for a shuttle service. Once I arrived in Atlanta I knew I had a couple hours before my shuttle would arrive and I was prepared for the wait. Half an hour before it's due arrival time I went to sit out in the ground transportation area. My shuttle was scheduled to arrived at noon. When 12:05 rolled around I wasn't too worried as it looked like traffic was bad. When 12:10 came I was a little more anxious. And by the time it was 12:18 I decided to call to make sure everything was alright. The person I got on the phone was RUDE. He told me it has only been 18 minutes not like it had been half an hour or anything. He said that they aren't a taxi service the the shuttle wasn't going to be there when I expected it to be and that I'd just have to wait. About 10 minutes later I received a call from the manager. She said she'd call her driver to find out what was up and then call me back. It took her nearly 20 minutes to do so and when she did she said he would be there shortly. At 1 she called and asked if he'd arrived and when I said no she said he would be soon. He arrived at 1:15. In the hour and forty-five minutes I waited for that shuttle I saw at least 7 of the competitors shuttles headed to Columbus go by. Also it takes about an hour and a half (up to 45 minutes if there's traffic) to go from Columbus to Atlanta and vis versa. Which means he probably left right around the time they were meant to pick me up from the airport. My nightmare doesn't really end there. My seat didn't have a seat belt. And while I couldn't find any laws against driving and talking on your phone in Georgia, I didn't quite feel safe as the driver was on his for about 60% of the trip back. The van was filthy! When I arrived in Columbus I went into their offices where I was greeted by the same manager who called me. There was no apology and she gave me a stamp card for ride 10 or so times get your 11th ride free. As if I would ever ride with them again. When I headed back to the van to collect my bag the driver was about to close the back doors. When I mentioned I had a bag he seemed to act fake surprised like he didn't remember putting it back there. I took their competitor back to the airport. Much more professional, prompt and clean. I don't think I'll think too much about paying the $15 extra for their competitors service next time I travel to Columbus. read more

Rule 2 of travelling life: YOU DO NOT TAKE the Courtesy Shuttle ever in Georgia. I wish I could give negative stars and it is with deep regret that I'm forced by Yelp to award 1/5. I took this shuttle from the Atlanta Airport to LaGrange. The fat and unhelpful driver first seated me in, then asked me to stand out so he could circle around and get in the line of shuttles! I had to wait 25 mins outside until he returned. It's not over yet. Part 2 - he waited 20 mins more because I was the only one in the shuttle and he couldn't find anyone else. Not only was the service a disaster, the driver was extremely unprofessional. He spat saliva with every word he spoke, moved like a snail, wasted time and had no sense of urgency, and made me wait for an unbearably long time. I finally had to turn to Groome which was much quicker. I reached the client's site almost an hour late and was furious. I HOPE THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE IS SOMEDAY COMPELLED TO CLOSE ITS BUSINESS. read more

I was at the Atlanta Airport & got on Coutesy. I couldn't understand why we weren't leaving on time. The driver told me he was waiting for a reservation....which never showed up. I thought it odd that there were only 2 of us on the shuttle. 45 minutes later we took off only I was not able to understand the driver. I had to pay by phone which I had never done before. The trip cost me $11 more than Groome. Never again. read more

I need to confirm the unfortunate experience of Cassandra L. I booked with Courtesy Shuttle for a round trip to the ATL airport for an international flight. Even though options are extremely limited in Columbus, I will never do so again. When they came to pick me up they were at least 45 minutes late. They gave me a "courtesy call" telling me that they were going to be late, but they were unable to tell me when the van would come. Then, when the van finally arrived, they ignored directions and were unable to navigate to my apartment. The building number was of no help, and the driver drove around the complex aimlessly. Again, no apologies, and I had concerns about the safety of the driver and van. It seemed to me as though he was quite tired, and the van wandered off the highway onto the breakdown lane several times. I was quite relieved when I made it to the airport in one piece. Fortunately, I had planned for delays, so was able to make my flight without too much difficulty. On the return flight, I arrived after a long transatlantic flight and the van simply did not come. Based on my previous experience, this was not a total surprise, but I was a little concerned since I had already paid for the trip. The folks at courtesy shuttle did arrange a trip with Groome Transportation, so I got home eventually, but this was really unforgivable. Courtesy Shuttle is poorly named. They are certainly not courteous - for all of their errors, I received no explanation or expression of regret, let alone an apology. And they are notreally a shuttle, since the basic skills such as scheduling and keeping appointments are missing. It's an amateur operation run by rude people. Avoid at all costs. read more

I took Courtesy Shuttle from the Atlanta airport on January 13th and did NOT have a good experience! Our driver was unprofessional and unsafe. En route to Columbus, the driver stopped at a gas station in Newnan to put $30 of gas in the van, and left the van running while fueling. He also told us to get money out of the ATM at the gas station there in order to pay for the ride, as cards are not accepted inside the van (and this added a $3 service fee at the ATM to the cost of my ride). I could not see the speedometer from where I was sitting but a fellow passenger later told me that we had been going up to 90mph. Also, the driver bashed their competition several times and dropped off customers who needed to get back to the competition's property (because their cars were parked there) at a random business just off the competition's property. TACKY! Next time I'll just wait at the airport for Groome. :) read more

I prefer to take this shuttle to Atlanta airport than groome. It's slightly more affordable and usually not as cramped as groome.
